13/07/2025: Mediocre food, especially the shrimp focaccia which tasted rancid and the pruscitto one which was black, the environment is not the cleanest, in fact... terrible service, always pay attention to the change you give, risk of sly foxes wandering around... always come back again

02/01/2026: A family lunch. The atmosphere is welcoming and quaint. The food is good, well-presented. The wine is also good. The staff is quite welcoming. The bathroom is clean.
30/12/2025: We were welcomed with kindness and professionalism. All the staff were helpful, the food was excellent, and relaxation was guaranteed.

08/12/2025: Very nice place in the center of Orvieto
The girl who welcomed us was very kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. As for the first course, the carbonara and the umbrichelli ai due caci were really good. The second course was a slow-cooked octopus, which was good, but the flavor was overshadowed by the side dish that accompanied it, but that's my personal taste. The wild boar was delicious. Overall, the evening was pleasant, and I would return.

20/01/2026: We visited during off season so we were literally the only ones there. Service was great, employees were very accommodating of tourists. They have an entire gluten free kitchen, and offer gluten free options for everything on the menu, which was amazing. Food wasn’t great, although I did get a gluten free focaccia bread so that one might be on me, lol. I would be interested in trying other gluten free items on the menu to see if they were any better, although we did find the food a tad expensive, which is probably because it’s on the Main Street of Town.
06/01/2026: The food is good and the price is reasonable. There's also a beautiful cave to visit, and you can even eat there. I recommend it.

16/01/2026: Excellent!! Welcoming place. In two steps I tasted: truly good "Neapolitan" pizza!! The carbonara alla Rupe and pasta allo scoglio were exceptional!! The Neapolitan pastiera was very light and excellent!! The very friendly Fabio and all the staff were lovely people!! I highly recommend it!!
25/12/2025: Terrible experience. Unprofessional staff. Slow service, poor quality food, not what you ordered. High prices. Not recommended.

19/06/2025: Pastry shop of Northern European inspiration, excellent quality food and excellent hospitality, very beautiful place and pleasant to spend time there. For the fifth star the only thing missing is a high level coffee consistent with the rest. I hope to soon see a coffee extracted to perfection (perhaps specialty) from some local roaster and maybe even an offer of filtered coffee (big dream)!

03/02/2026: This restaurant is next to the cathedral, slightly hidden at the back of the square. The two of us had carbonara, umbrichelli, and a truffle tagliata with sautéed mushrooms, as well as two desserts and coffee: everything was excellent and the portions generous. The presentation was also beautiful. The waiter was very friendly.
€40 per person, with a small discount as a pleasant surprise. A very fair price for such high quality!

19/12/2025: Beware, tourists, they'll rip you off here! My wife and I ordered two Negronis, and the glasses arrived practically empty! There was more ice than drink. Some local Italians came in and ordered the same thing, and their glasses were generously filled! So, it's all about who you ask; don't trust them, I strongly advise against going there!

05/01/2026: We stopped by on our way to the restaurant, which is very close to the highway toll booth. The atmosphere is clean and well-kept, the menu simple but refined, the food excellent, the service fast, and the staff friendly and helpful.
Recommended restaurant
03/01/2026: Ideal for those staying in a hotel and not wanting to travel. I would recommend it for the food but not for the staff.

30/12/2025: We stopped briefly for a snack: a platter of cured meats and cheeses accompanied by local red wine and warm focaccia. Everything was delicious, and the price was fair for the quality.
28/12/2025: Unfortunately, I can't review the food because, after asking the waitress if they had room for two people and not getting a clear answer because she spoke little to no English (this isn't a criticism of the person, but a fact), we were literally and rudely pushed out the door by the presumed owner, who told us they had no room without an apology or a regretful smile.
I want to point out that we weren't arrogant or pushy.
We just asked a question, and they could have politely answered it.
Never mind, we ate wonderfully a few meters further on.
I assume the sellout was due to the good food, not the long waits and the hospitality.

18/09/2025: We chose this property for its historic character and its pool. We used it for about two hours because it was full of mosquitoes, and we and other guests had to flee. The area could be disinfected so guests can enjoy relaxing by the pool, but instead we had to go up to our room and then leave. The lobby cleaning was a bit unnecessary, and we would have liked a check-in to be done with a smile. The room and breakfast room were dimly lit, and there was no large mirror. Excellent Italian breakfast. We checked out with a smile, asking: "Are you not using the pool?"...
Positive notes for the three of us: historic structure, breakfast, proximity to Orvieto.

24/06/2025: Came here by chance while traveling, as it is close to the highway - but I'll come back for a vacation for sure after seeing this unique building and the lovely town it is in. People are friendly and laid back, the room is large and has AC, the hotel is clean. Total hidden gem! Highly recommended!!

This is a great spot in Orvieto for pizza al taglio (pizza by the slice). We tried the salsiccia e funghi, pepperoni, funghi porcini and gorgonzola e pera and they were all terrific! Lovely toppings and nice thin bases. The lady is quite friendly and if you ask nicely she might even heat them up for you. This is a good value option for a quick and tasty meal!

04/01/2026: The place is very nice, just a few steps from the Duomo. We had pizza and soft drinks. Service was slow, even though the place wasn't busy, and the pizza was really mediocre; we only ate until the end because we were hungry.
08/11/2025: First of all, a lovely place. Today, it was sunny despite it being November, and we had lunch outside. The raised square is just enough to stay away from the chaos. There are also a few tables right on the main street, but I'd probably avoid those.
Excellent tartare, with basil mayonnaise, elegantly plated, eggplant parmigianina, and delicious fresh pasta with truffles. The panna cotta was so-so, but never mind.
Friendly and overall quick service.
Very reasonable price.
