16/02/2026: Amazing ribollita. My first time trying it, and I am afraid that now future soups will disappoint.
15/02/2026: Quiet atmosphere, convenient location, spacious rooms, very kind and sweet staff, well-cooked and flavorful dishes, and reasonably priced. The only downside... the Prosecco (without bubbles) tasted like white wine, which left me with a "hmm, thoughtful" feeling, but otherwise, nothing to complain about.

08/07/2026: This restaurant next to the Orvieto Cathedral has a pleasant and beautifully decorated dining room, as well as a spacious terrace. It serves traditional Orvieto cuisine, using high-quality ingredients prepared with care. I highly recommend it when you visit Orvieto. The homemade desserts are delicious.

20/06/2026: Had lunch as part of a bike tour. It was excellent. We had several small dishes - farro salad, Porchetta, frittata in tomato sauce, and cheeses -paired with a local white wine. Each dish was tasty and well prepared. They went well with the wine. I appreciated that the menu didn’t just repeat every other menu in Orvieto.

15/06/2026: A stone's throw from the Orvieto cathedral, everything is very good, especially the cheese and the fresh homemade pasta. The prices are touristy, Mr. Pippo is truly a special character. We had an appetizer, some good house white wine, a plate of umbricchielli cacio pepe, a plate of umbricchielli alla matriciana, and tagliatelle with ragù.

Very disappointing visit. The service was awful and completely unwelcoming. To make matters worse, the food smelled bad and tasted off. Even the salad was served completely dry with no dressing whatsoever. A highly questionable and frustrating experience all around. Definitely not worth your time or money.

03/05/2026: We visited on Saturday evening with friends. As soon as we entered, we were greeted with great kindness by the wait staff. The atmosphere was pleasant and clean, with background music that was never intrusive.
The chef was equally kind and helpful, always ready to accommodate the various needs of his guests. How did we eat? Very, very good. Although they specialize in seafood, we opted for typical local dishes. Everything exceeded our expectations. Well done!

23/07/2026: Excellent restaurant. It's reasonably priced, and the new location is much brighter than the previous one. We recommend ordering the lunch menu when you go for lunch, as it offers a small price for several dishes.
22/07/2026: We've been customers for a few years. The new location is beautiful. The food is really fresh and always impeccable. The service is very friendly and the bathrooms are very clean. The atmosphere is relaxing, almost romantic now. Thank you, and see you soon.

30/06/2026: Nice place, good breakfast and selection. Prices aren't exactly cheap, but considering the location, that's okay. What's less nice is the unsmiling, very serious staff, which doesn't make me feel very comfortable; a smile towards customers never killed anyone, but still, a nice, decent place for breakfast.
26/06/2026: They have a huge selection for breakfast, and everything we ordered was delicious. They have plenty of tables, but they're spread across different rooms, so it's not too crowded. They have a great system for managing orders, even during peak hours. Superb service. We've also used it for a quick stop between museums; again, plenty of choice and super fast. Truly excellent. Thank you.

29/05/2026: Had swordfish chips and salad. Really good, large portion rounded off holiday superbly.
24/05/2026: I ate their best pizza. The king of pizza. Very smooth, made without any experience, I won't tell you what happened next. From 3 in the morning until 6 in the morning, I had a stomachache. It's not that I'm weak, in fact, I'll eat anything. But their pizza really made me sick.

13/07/2026: This place was a wonderful surprise; it recently changed ownership and is centrally located. The food we ate exceeded our expectations, and the hostess, Nadia, is kind and empathetic, making you feel right at home. Everything was excellent, and the beers were top-notch. The place is very well-kept and perfectly captures the feel of a pub, with a feminine touch. We'll be back as soon as possible...just an hour from Rome.

I've read negative reviews that are about a year old. I say this because we stopped in today for a beer.
The owner (Nadia) was incredibly kind, to say the least, and stopped to chat with us and told us she's been running this place for a year.
I say this because it's not easy to find a place in a tourist area where you're pampered and not told "you're a tourist anyway, and once you're out I'll never see you again."
I highly recommend it.

24/03/2026: Typical baked goods, pizza, and fried foods. Good value. The frittella (fried pizza) and the rustic salami roll are very good and tasty. The pizza is thin and served in a pan, pre-sliced into roughly square pieces. It's a shame that everything was lukewarm or cold; usually, in these cases, customers are asked if they want it reheated when they're served. Worth trying again.
18/03/2026: This might be the cheapest and most delicious place in Orvieto. We found it while wandering the streets after taking photos of the Orvieto Cathedral. We had a slice of Margherita pizza, it was good, it cost 1.5 euros. A small Moretti beer was 2.5 euros. I recommend it for a short break and a snack.

23/06/2026: The pizza is undercooked and the ingredients are poor for the price they sell it for. I would only recommend the simple pizzas, e.g. Boscaiola or Diavola.

01/11/2025: Just superb. Different types of pizza and stuffed breads, great fresh ingredients, and so many vegetarian options. Try the supli too.
Mainly take-away, very limited eat-in facilities.
Kind, lovely people.
