Nice place, good breakfast and selection. Prices aren't exactly cheap, but considering the location, that's okay. What's less nice is the unsmiling, very serious staff, which doesn't make me feel very comfortable; a smile towards customers never killed anyone, but still, a nice, decent place for breakfast.

They have a huge selection for breakfast, and everything we ordered was delicious. They have plenty of tables, but they're spread across different rooms, so it's not too crowded. They have a great system for managing orders, even during peak hours. Superb service. We've also used it for a quick stop between museums; again, plenty of choice and super fast. Truly excellent. Thank you.

This was some of the best gelato we had ever tasted! They have a wide variety of flavours, and the prices are so good!

Was walking by and saw the gelato and it looked so good I had to try. Hands down the best gelato we've had in Italy this far (and we've had our fair share!). It was creamy and full of flavour - can recommend the Lindor and cherry flavours!

Best gelato in orveito for sure! The staff were amazing and the prices were great. For lunch and breakfast options there was so much to choose from and all delicious! The atmosphere was great. It was so clean in there and you can get great portions. Highly recommend!!

Pleasant surprise in Orvietto. Espresso may be smoother than some prefer, but bakery items and food is tasty. The seating options from a pleasant patio to indoor spaces are nice, and service is great.

Bar Montanucci is an institution for all Orvieto residents, a place lost in time. A meeting place, a place to meet, a place to enjoy delicious food. Former owners Rosina and her son Reno made it famous and appreciated for its quality and deliciousness, which remains the same today. Desserts are their forte; the legendary pastries of all kinds are also accompanied by delicious croissants. But their artisanal ice cream is equally delicious. In recent years, they've also masterfully expanded their savory offerings, adding quality hot and cold first and second courses to the classic rustic pizza. In short, a delight! Like any place, there's room for improvement in the future, with more skilled staff (some are already top-notch, though) and the addition of air conditioning for the warmer months.

Really wonderful place. Variety of sweets, cakes, sandwiches and food. Great coffee and a lot of different seating options.
