01/05/2026: Was looking forward to an enjoyable final dinner in Italy, but unfortunately we ended up here. The server was pretentious and unwelcoming, and wouldn’t give us the time of day. He refused to look at or speak to us. The whole experience was terribly uncomfortable. It was a disappointing experience to leave a beautiful place with. Would not recommend if you’re visiting.

13/01/2026: An average restaurant, but unfortunately, it didn't leave any particular impressions. The tagliata didn't live up to expectations; it's hard to even classify it. Basic service, pleasant atmosphere, two rooms, one more welcoming, the other less so... overall, the experience was rather unimpressive. It's a shame, because there are definitely better options in the Orvieto area.

07/01/2026: Great restaurant! The menu is consistent with the area and local traditions. The first courses were excellent, especially the tagliatelle. We really appreciated the quality of the pasta and its cooking. The service was fast and friendly. Reservations are recommended, as the place filled up quickly. Although the town is small and easy to navigate, the restaurant is conveniently located. A good choice considering the quality and price, even though ours was a quick and simple lunch.

01/05/2026: We just ate at this delightful little restaurant. We had a wonderful meal! They have a wide variety of gluten-free options! I had a plate of gluten-free ombrichelli alla norcina and the ricotta and chocolate cake, as well as their homemade gluten-free bread, served warm! Everything was absolutely delicious!

01/05/2026: We went for lunch, and I must say it was one of the most pleasant experiences I've had in recent memory. The restaurant has a casual yet meticulously curated style: every detail is tastefully considered. The atmosphere is relaxed yet refined without being pretentious. The service was excellent. Those who looked after us showed rare calm and professionalism: attentive but never invasive, present at the right time, and with a genuine smile combined with a kindness that truly makes the difference. As for the food, it was simply excellent. High-quality ingredients, clean and distinctive flavors, and meticulous attention to detail in every dish. The gluten-free menu was particularly appreciated: it wasn't an "adapted version," but a preparation conceived and executed with the same care and attention to detail as the other dishes. There was no compromise on flavor. In short, a restaurant that manages to combine informality, attention to detail, quality ingredients, and truly calm and competent service. We'll definitely be back, and we're happy to recommend it to anyone looking for a place to eat well in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere just steps from the Duomo. 5 well-deserved stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

12/04/2026: I stopped for lunch with some customers (part of a tour group). The atmosphere was very nice and welcoming, and the staff was very friendly. I ordered a Baffo all'Orvietana as an appetizer and whole wheat pappardelle with wild boar ragù as a main course. The Baffo was amazing! And the main course was also really good! Highly recommended. The place is located in an alley near the Duomo, so it's also easy to get to.

30/03/2026: A truly enjoyable dinner. I recommend the cured meats and cheeses as an appetizer. With their homemade bread, they literally melt in your mouth. To top it all off, the extremely kind ladies are there. You can taste the quality of the dishes and the care taken in the kitchen. A place I'll gladly return to.

17/04/2026: I had lunch at this osteria today. There were two of us, and we ordered a plate of umbrichelli with wild boar ragù, a plate of umbrichelli with porcini mushrooms, a portion of peposo, and a chocolate and hazelnut mousse. The umbrichelli with ragù were delicious, very flavorful, and although the wild boar meat can sometimes be too strong, in this dish it was perfectly balanced. As for the umbrichelli with porcini mushrooms, they were also very good; for personal taste, I would have preferred them a little more "savory." The peposo, accompanied by roasted potatoes, was soft and creamy. Finally, I was very impressed with the chocolate mousse; I also appreciated the crunchy contrast provided by the hazelnuts. The staff was very courteous, not pushy when serving us the next courses, and willing to explain some of the dishes. If I were to return to Orvieto, I would definitely consider eating here again.

15/04/2026: We went for lunch on April 12th, with four of us and two dogs. The restaurant was traditional and welcoming. The food was high quality and plentiful. The prices were fair for the quality and quantity. I highly recommend it; it was a great experience.

14/03/2026: It's a truly historic restaurant, and that's precisely why it's so special. The food is obviously excellent: we loved it so much we ended up ordering another pasta dish. Even though we were Korean, the entire staff was incredibly kind to us. They explained the menu well and gave us excellent suggestions. The atmosphere is beautiful, but what struck us most is how they continue to respect the traditions of the past. For example, they only serve wine and water, just like they did in the past, with no other beverages. It's rare and very charming. If we return to Orvieto, this place will definitely be a must-see. 10/03/2026: I arrived around 1:30 PM after visiting the Orvieto Underground. I heard they offer a chance to sample medieval Orvieto cuisine, so I went. The server was very friendly. I had the thick, round Umbrian truffle carbonara pasta and the flat fettuccine ragu pasta. Both were delicious, especially the truffle carbonara. I highly recommend it. For dessert, I ordered chocolate cake and drank it with espresso. The chocolate cake was filled with rich chocolate cream, giving it a rich chocolate flavor.

15/01/2026: We ate very well. Excellent products cooked with their own oil, and our stomachs thanked us. A special thanks to Silvia, the lady in the dining room, who was so kind and took care of my partner's food intolerances. We had a wonderful time. 20/11/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant, accessible via a bumpy but manageable road. The dining room is large and welcoming, and we were delighted to have space for our daughter's stroller next to the table. À la carte menu. We ate wonderfully, everything was delicious! Highly recommended!
