02/07/2024: Benji has been eating in Orvieto on many visits for more than 15 years. Benji fondly remembers many excellent meals at Antica Rupe when Simone and Luca were running the restaurant. Very sadly, Benji returned tonight and found that Antica Rupe under the new owners provided the worst meal he has ever had in Orvieto. The lovely second floor dining room has been replaced by an ugly rear garden and first floor dining area. The eggplant in the pasta was undercooked. The eggplant in the grilled vegetables was undercooked. The pizza arrived cold. The redone pizza arrived with soggy crust. Benji skipped dessert. When the bill arrived, the wine was charged at €10 higher than it was listed on the wine list. The 20% discount promised by The Fork reservation system was not provided. Benji will not return and suggests you don’t go either.

01/07/2024: Avevo buone aspettative ma sono rimasto molto deluso dalla pizza napoletana che non era saporita, oltretutto è stata anche ordinata una La bistecca Tomahawk al sangue che è stata servita ben cotta.

06/07/2024: Siamo arrivati nel parcheggio del ristorante con il nostro camper. Volevamo pranzare con la nostra famiglia nel ristorante. Il proprietario ci ha accolto urlando contro di noi perché avevamo il camper, un grande cafone maleducato, bestemmiatore. Si dovrebbe vergognare ad accogliere clienti in questo modo. Spero che il locale chiuda presto! Preciso che il parcheggio è enorme, per cui il nostro camper non dava alcun fastidio.

03/07/2024: Siamo incapatti in cucine da incubo!!! Ci siamo fermati in questo posto x cena..il locale all'interno grande con molti coperti... completamente vuoto solo un paio di tavoli...di un tristezza infinita....non gradevole. Ci accoglie il gestore...ci consegna i menù.. due fogli di plastica....poca scelta e nulla della zona..... Le materie prime sono di pessima qualità e la loro preparazione anche peggio (la pasta precotta un insulto...e condita con un ragù che nuotava nell'olio e acqua)...l ambiente tristissimo....non sembra neanche tanto pulito. Il servizio.....non pervenuto. Unica nota positiva il gestore è una persona gentile. Ma consigliato assolutamente!!!!!

26/08/2024: Servizio orrendo e prezzi assurdi . Bar carino, bella posizione, che aspettate a migliorare il personale? Ci ha servito la ragazza mora con un piercing, sembrava infastidita, nemmeno ci ha guardato in faccia quando parlavamo. Veramente antipatica. Inoltre il chinotto protato versato in un bicchiere senza manco un po' di ghiaccio. Se non ti va di fare questo lavoro non ti costringe nessuno (anche io ho fatto questo lavoro , esistono le giornatacce ma non è colpa del cliente). Una Cocacola e un chinotto 7 euro manco a Roma centro abbiamo sti prezzi. A mai più rivederci

06/08/2024: This Monday morning I entered the restaurant to find a wonderful welcome, a good morning in unison accompanied by two dazzling smiles from the baristas. I consumed an excellent pistachio croissant and a very good soy cappuccino (which is not easy to find who knows how to make it). Very nice place. I will definitely return.

12/08/2024: Two stars for the kindness of the waiters and the location, for the rest it deserves below zero... paid €36 for a platter (€19, nothing exceptional with a glass of wine) the absurd is the remaining €17 for a tea and a coca cola… all obviously without a receipt.

12/08/2024: Great location, but very expensive. Medium-low service. Inside air conditioning is mentioned, but there was no difference in temperature.
