05/11/2023: Here you can not only eat well, but also visit an Etruscan well under the building (Pozzo della Cava = well of the cave), as well as caves that were used as storage cellars in the Middle Ages. If you don't want to climb down, a glass floor in the house offers a view down. The food was very tasty, the service was friendly and you could dine outdoors behind the house undisturbed.

11/08/2023: To tell the truth, it's the smallest restaurant I've ever eaten at... but very welcoming and original. Our table was positioned directly over a well, what an effect😁 The pasta is homemade and I appreciate it very much, the "fssciagialla" wine is homemade but equally good I recommend it. It's an important step and you won't regret it.

08/01/2024: It is the second time we have eaten a truly delicious, digestible, fragrant pizza with fast and courteous service. The only negative note is the place which I personally don't find welcoming and it's a little too dated

31/12/2023: Restaurant in the heart of Orvieto, we found a place without a reservation in the days before New Year's Eve but clearly on children's time so around 12.30. Tried the amatriciana and the cacio e pepe, really very good. Courtesy service even towards the little ones.

14/02/2024: This can be a surprise change after all the pastas and pizzas- Good quality sushi, sashimi was excellent and not stringy, with enough choice for a small place like Orvieto, but do not expect world class high end sushi - if you want that you must go to Domo or Oishi in Rome. But this is a bargain for the good quality and the All-u-can-eat option.Staff attentive and on point. Try to go early. Very surprised to see the place nearly full mid week on a Wednesday. Expect to pay €2 cover charge per person.

30/12/2023: Trovata per caso. Siamo entrati e ci hanno subito preparato un tavolo nella veranda. Ambiente informale Assortimento molto interessante di gusti pizza con ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Tempi di attesa minimi indispensabili, personale gentile e molto disponibile. Se siete ad Orvieto e cercate una pizzeria questa ve la consigliamo.

09/11/2023: This small restaurant offers the best pizza I had in Italy. Since the day was nice, we ate outside on the covered patio -- great ambience in an area that's not busy.

01/05/2024: Stayed for just one night, with a Smartbox package including breakfast. An ancient structure, in a park, not far from Orvieto. Easily accessible. There was no food service available but the buffet breakfast was quite rich. If the structure was cared for a little more it would be a jewel.

02/04/2024: We ate at this place on Easter Sunday. We were welcomed by a polite and very kind owner. We took a pizza and three sandwiches, two of which with porchetta and 1 with a hamburger, salad and tomatoes. Everything was delicious and despite the place being in the center of Orvieto the bill was more than honest. I highly recommend going there when you are in the area.

29/03/2024: The meat was cold and the burger was falling apart. The fries were frozen and the toilet smelled very bad. Won’t be eating here anytime soon!!!

03/04/2024: Terrible restaurant, during our lunch the waitress immediately proved to be extremely disorganized, we ordered 2 platters as appetizers and 7 first courses (of which 2 for children), we waited more than an hour to receive the platters, repeatedly asking to have at least some Bread, once the platters were received, two of the diners were still without a plate to eat on (never arrived). After the platters we waited another hour, while half of the people who arrived after us received their orders, while the other half had the same problems as us (lack of crockery for eating, lack of bread and long wait). After two hours of waiting, a diner went to the kitchen to ask for explanations which were not given. We then decided, with two children who were rightfully hungry, to leave. On the way out, when we still paid for the platters and the wine (terrible), the chef finally accused us of not knowing how to order, because: "you don't order 2 platters and 7 first courses" and I still don't understand the meaning of that statement. Really disappointing experience especially due to the rudeness of the staff.

21/03/2024: I think it's a bit ridiculous to charge 2 euros for drinks at the table and 2 euros for a cover charge. Seeing this, we took two takeaway pizzas. Average pizzas, decent... crust a little burnt.

09/12/2023: Siamo stati in questa struttura di passaggio e, la prima impressione, non è stata delle migliori in quanto era l’unico ristorante senza persone sedute all’esterno. Comunque, una volta entrati, abbiamo ordinato due primi di cui uno ottimo e l’altro (le pappardelle al cinghiale) un po’ asciutto e con un ragù che, a me è sembrato quantomeno “misto”. Il servizio è stato preciso e veloce e l’agnello è stato ottimo anche se esiguo. L’unica vera critica è certamente per i 3€ a persona per il coperto e i 6€ per un calice di merlot locale. Abbiamo pranzato bene ma non ci tornerei.

13/10/2023: È un bel posto nelle vicinanze di Orvieto. Ottimo per fermarsi per mangiare sia al coperto che all' aperto. Ottima cottura alla brace. Purtroppo è un po' lento il servizio e mi sono dovuto alzare per andare via a malincuore senza aver completato appieno il pranzo...... spero che in una prossima occasione ci sia una maggiore attenzione.

01/10/2023: Cucina casalinga molto buona, piatti preparati con ingredienti di qualità.... Pasta fresca fatta in casa, carne arrostita sulla brace ma il top sono le pappardelle al ragù di cinghiale, fantastiche! UNICO NEO: l'acqua a 3 euro a bottiglia............

25/02/2024: Terrible home delivery service, we ordered the pizzas for 9pm to 9.30pm still nothing and from the glutton himself we are told that they don't know how to contact their deliveryman, a ridiculous situation to say the least, three more times we ordered they delayed delivery by at least twenty minutes.
