02/06/2026: We were passing through, after consulting Google, we decided to stop.. I must say everything was good, not the best but excellent value for money

26/05/2026: We tried this restaurant near the Orvieto exit. NEVER AGAIN, TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I wouldn't recommend it for the food. Plus, the wait times are way too long. A tasteless Norcina-style first course and a burnt cockerel. I definitely won't be returning. I should start by saying there were only four tables occupied, so no disturbance. The waiters were probably clearing up the tables for the evening. I recommend Dina's, 100 meters further on, but it was actually full, which is why we ended up here! Never again.

13/05/2026: Fantastic bar for aperitifs with typical Orvieto products. I especially loved the cured meats. Francesco, the owner, is exceptional; he always serves these delicious Orvieto white wines, and he's always ready with a joke, like a good, traditional host.

24/03/2026: Disappointing experience, room not very clean, paint residue, unusable television, shower in the tub with a plastic mat and plastic curtain.....you can't sleep on an exhausted spring mattress!!

15/03/2026: Agriturismo outside Orvieto, found by chance. Delicious food, from appetizers to main courses. Very polite and friendly staff. Excellent experience.

04/06/2026: We were expecting wonderful and full of taste food. Pretty tasteless food, with tiny amount of protein. The vegetables dim sum was with 0 taste and over cooked, very soggy. The meat noodle stir fry was 99% noodles with 2 pieces of meat. The zuppa agropiccante was not it at all. So much thickner, too much sauce and oil in every dish. Pretty disappointed. The is one waitresse that acts like she doesn't want to be there. The only normal thing (again, normal not mind blowing) was the sushi and nigiri.

30/05/2026: I've already given this restaurant a positive review in the past, so I'm sorry to say that my latest experience was decidedly less pleasant. Even though the restaurant was almost empty, the dishes arrived very slowly, with long waits between courses. This made the lunch fragmented and unpleasant, as instead of enjoying the meal together, we found ourselves spending a long time waiting. I even politely asked if it would be possible to serve all the sushi on one of the traditional wooden boats, simply to make the occasion a little more special, but my request was denied. The food remains decent, but the service this time didn't live up to the expectations I'd had from my previous visits. Overall, I left feeling rather disappointed, and, at least for now, I don't think I'll be returning.

20/07/2026: Wonderful bakery with delicious products and excellent service! The staff is very kind, friendly, and helpful. The bread is fresh and delicious, and the mini pizzas are absolutely amazing. Highly recommended for both the quality of the food and the warm, welcoming atmosphere!

14/07/2026: It's nice to have proof that Orvieto's economy has flourished. This bakery could close at 12:15 instead of 12:30 due to the heat. We'll review the product when we can try it.

12/06/2026: To meet a specific nutritional plan, my wife had to eat a chicken breast: we saw a sign that said "grilled chicken salad" and sat down to order. First... four successive requests for a bottle of water, which arrived almost fifteen minutes after we sat down. Then, the salad brought to us (€16.50) combined chicken and tuna (!!!), mozzarella, and some vegetables. We explained that we actually only wanted chicken and various vegetables, and were told, somewhat rudely, that the salad "here" meant the potpourri they brought us and that no one had ever complained about (chicken and tuna together?!?!). They remade our dish... but, while we understand that it's a restaurant for tourists, we certainly wouldn't recommend a place that made us feel "strange" because we don't eat meat (not grilled as written on the menu) and fish in a single dish, as well as mozzarella and various vegetables...

27/05/2026: We were passing by like many tourists, the music struck me, and I said let's eat here... The staff and owner were truly extraordinary, an experience of taste and tradition... We're truly happy to have spent three evenings there, thank you.

15/05/2026: Had lunch here today & it was delicious! Atmosphere was great, Ramona was great. All in all really enjoyed eating lunch here, highly suggest it! (:

30/12/2025: The place is so cold you have to wear a jacket. The food: if you take away the rice, nothing remains. At 1:30 PM, only two tables were occupied... there must be a reason!

18/07/2026: Fantastic meal, had the Truffle Umbrichelli, highly recommend. Cooked perfectly and the elevated flavors with black truffles were amazing. Carbonara was also excellent. Great service and atmosphere.

16/07/2026: The pizza was pretty solid but the service was really mediocre. The server made me order food even though I just wanted to get pizza for my kids and all have a drink (the cover was 3€ pp anyway). So I ordered a completely underdressed salad for 13€. I’d steer clear of this spot, differently felt like a tourist trap and not an establishment thinking about hospitality.

22/03/2026: I arrived and paid at the counter. The cashier's friends had been coming for at least 15 minutes and they'd walk right past me. She pretended I didn't exist. I got my money back from the receipt. The cashier was a little mortified, but not that much. You deserve to be closed because you don't know how a business works.

15/05/2026: After the San Brizio chapel tried to eat your soul, you need a place to unclench your jaw. La Taverna dell'Etrusco is that place. No gold leaf. No frescoes of demons grinning at your damnation. Just a quiet taverna room, a cold Poretti 4, and a plate of bufala that doesn't ask anything of you except to shut up and eat. This is the antidote to those Bologna pasta factories, the ones running on fumes and TripAdvisor stickers. Here, nobody's performing. The focus is purely on the plate. Heavy local tradition. Zero shouting. The umbrichelli? Goodness me. It's hand-rolled until it gets that silky al dente thing, the kind of structural integrity that doesn't collapse under a proper sauce. Yeah, fork halfway to your mouth, because your brain just short-circuited trying to figure out how something so simple hits so hard. That's not crudeness. That's reverence, and Signorelli, the guy who painted flayed skin and grinning demons, would absolutely respect a man who swears at good pasta. And the sauce: tangy tomato cut with rich pork fat. That's Umbria right there. No apologies. The fat emulsifies into the tomato until it's not a topping anymore, it's a substance. A sauce that coats your mouth like a memory you didn't know you had. You sit there, fork halfway to your mouth, and realize: this is why they've been eating like this for centuries. Not for Instagram. Not for Michelin. Because it's right. You walk out into the Orvieto evening, still cloudy, but the rain has stopped, and for the first time all day, you're not blinking like a trauma survivor. You're just full. And quiet. And that's enough.

14/05/2026: We stopped on the Larth trail. The pork shank was delicious and the service excellent. I highly recommend it. The price was very fair, €20 per person, including an appetizer and main course with side dish.

22/02/2026: Poor-quality, overpriced food: the €10 cheese platter was made with packaged parmesan and mozzarella, carbonara and parmigiana soaked in oil... The bill was decidedly steep!

02/01/2026: We came to this restaurant for Umbria Jazz and had a truly wonderful time. The restaurant is perfect in every way: food, service, location, and decor, everything is meticulously designed. We also chose something off the menu: lentils with sausage, which were truly excellent. The polenta with wild boar, porcini mushrooms, and sausage was simply heavenly. Finally, the desserts: berry tart and tiramisu, both excellent. A truly positive experience: we'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

29/03/2026: The food was delicious. Specifically the steak. I can’t believe how good the steak was, me and my family were just walking around looking for a place to eat and we are super lucky that we stumbled soon this place. The service was amazing. The servers gave us our food within minutes and my daughter was especially happy because she loves bread and their bread was delicious. The atmosphere was absolutely wonderful literally perfect me and my family loved the vibe. I highly recommend eating here.

07/02/2026: I was so absorbed in my delicious meal that I didn't have time to take a picture, but I still think about it even after I came back to Korea. The staff didn't speak English, so I had a hard time ordering, but they were very friendly. I wanted wild boar, but they said they only served meat for dinner, so I ordered lasagna, spaghetti, salad, and a cola. The lasagna was by far the best. They gave us free bread, and we had to pay a 1.50 euro per person seat fee. If you ask for "Coca-Cola," they'll bring you a cola. The three of us paid a total of 49.50 euros.

13/06/2026: Located just steps from the Duomo, we stopped for a quick lunchtime snack while visiting Orvieto. A nice place, with staff who were initially a bit surly, but who quickly turned out to be friendly and helpful. The food is good and reasonably priced considering the location. Regarding the ambiance, I would have given it 4 stars if it weren't for the bathroom (which was decidedly dirty). It's perfect for a casual snack!
