We were having problems with the internet on our phones, and when we asked for the Wi-Fi password, to our surprise, they told us they didn't have it. I consider this an essential service that they should offer to customers.

22/03/2026: I've stopped by Bar…Zelletta several times when I've been to Orvieto, and I have to say it's one of those "home" stops that never disappoints. It's a simple, no-frills place with a genuine atmosphere and a value that's truly hard to find elsewhere in the area. The pizza here is good, well-cooked, and made with honest ingredients—nothing gourmet, but perfect for a casual dinner or a quick lunch if you're passing through. The cuisine has that traditional Italian "homestyle" feel, with simple yet tasty dishes that remind you of your grandmother's. The staff is generally friendly, approachable, and happy to recommend a daily special or suggest a typical dish. Many similar places can sometimes seem rushed, but here they manage to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, as if we were part of a family. Sure, the place isn't a fancy restaurant, and some might find it a bit dated or spartan, but for me, that's part of its charm: it's a sincere, unpretentious place where you can eat well without spending a fortune. In conclusion, if you want tasty pizza, traditional dishes, and a relaxed atmosphere, Bar…Zelletta is an excellent choice in Orvieto—especially if you're looking for something authentic and homey. I'd go back.

26/03/2026: I visited Blie Bar and I must say it was a truly pleasant surprise. The atmosphere is refined, welcoming, and relaxed, making you feel instantly at ease. I tried several cocktails and found them to be truly excellent: well-balanced, carefully prepared, and with quality ingredients. You can sense the passion of the people behind the bar, both in the presentation and the flavor. The service was friendly and attentive, without being intrusive, which I really appreciated. It's the kind of place you'd happily return to, whether for a quiet evening or to share a moment with friends. If you find yourself in Orvieto, it's definitely worth a stop!

13/02/2026: I visited Orvieto during a traditional Irish music festival last year. All I can say is please please pay this place a visit. Anthony is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and Blue Bar will be the most welcoming place you will visit. Drinks are plentiful, reasonable and lovely and sometimes even croissants/cornettos can appear in the wee hours. Also a huge highlight is that Anthony is a fabulous musician who will delight in seranading you with songs old and new. I cannot praise and thank this man enough for his kindness, musicality, friendliness and making the whole trip that much better.

20/11/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant, accessible via a bumpy but manageable road. The dining room is large and welcoming, and we were delighted to have space for our daughter's stroller next to the table. À la carte menu. We ate wonderfully, everything was delicious! Highly recommended!

30/01/2026: A beautiful church, beautifully nestled in the equally beautiful city that hosts it. Built in the Romanesque style, at the time it must have been a jewel of elegant spirituality. Unfortunately, many of its frescoes and decorations have been lost. It's still worth a visit; you won't regret it!

30/11/2025: La Pergola La Pergola restaurant is located in a truly picturesque alleyway: the charming entrance invites you in and promises a pleasant experience. The first part of the restaurant, however, is rather anonymous and doesn't do justice to the atmosphere that only emerges later: the internal garden, with a very well-kept and welcoming outdoor area, is undoubtedly the highlight of the place. Regarding the food, we started with the Baffo, which unfortunately turned out to be excessively salty. Next, we ordered some first courses: the toppings were good and well-balanced, but the pasta arrived a bit overcooked, which detracted from the overall experience. Among the desserts, the zuppa inglese was excellent, but the tiramisu was less convincing, falling short of expectations. The wine list is extensive, but we found several omissions, as was the case with the beers. A shame, considering the potential. The staff seemed rather distracted and not particularly knowledgeable, which impacted the overall experience. In short, La Pergola boasts a very pleasant outdoor setting and some interesting dishes, but there's room for improvement in both the cuisine and the service. It could become an excellent place with a little more attention to detail.
