15/03/2024: State alla larga da questo ristorante!abbiamo ordinato 1 antipasto da dividere in 4…1 primo a testa 1 acqua 1 bottiglia di vino della casa e 4 caffè 108€!porzioni scarse che non giustificano il costo così elevato..la signora non ci ha rilasciato neanche lo scontrino a conferma della poche serietà del posto Controllando le recensioni precedenti ho notato che molti clienti hanno avuto il mio stesso problema ..EVITATE

15/03/2024: Very pleased with this place. Looks more like a deli but has a quaint dining room upstairs. Nice menu and classic service. And great value for money. Ingredients were fresh and well put toghether. Our favorite meal all week.

31/03/2024: It was recommended to us by several local people and I must say that in a beautiful environment, we were served good quality food by fast and attentive service and we paid a fair bill. I just don't understand why when the place was still empty (we showed up early for lunch on a Sunday and the restaurant wasn't full of reservations...) we were given a table at the end of the room near the door of a bathroom which promptly had no one closed. This must be the last table to be used, not the first. Still recommended.

29/12/2023: Esperienza positivissima! Ottimo ristorante a pochi passi dal Duomo con personale molto cordiale, empatico e pietanze superlative!!!! Raccomando assolutamente questo ristorante per la qualità delle materie prime usate, piatti abbondanti, personale super cortese. Ritornerò sicuramente e lo consiglierò a tutti i miei amici.

16/02/2024: Octopus salad, hamburger on the plate, a bottle of water and an Ichnusa. We finish with two coffees and a dessert. Excellent quality food and fresh ingredients. Truly impeccable service: friendly, polite and fast staff. They also boast a good selection of wines. Recommended to everyone!

30/03/2024: Today, together with my parents and grandparents we had lunch in this small restaurant located in the center of Orvieto. The place is clean and I deduce it has been recently renovated, with a simple and rustic but refined style. As soon as they arrived at the table they promptly brought bread and water. We had a total of five first courses: umbrichelli (a type of typical local pasta similar to spaghetti but more homemade) alla amatriciana and umbrichelli alla cave (seasoned with pistachio and bacon). Pasta cooked just right and abundant, fresh sauces. As second courses we ordered two grilled steaks and two mixed salads. These are good too. Then we had 5 desserts (tiramisu, pannacotta and chocolate and caramel mousse) which were also very good. Finally, we ordered 4 coffees and two bitters. The service was excellent: waiters attentive, kind and fast. To underline the professionalism, friendliness and friendliness of the waiter Franco who welcomed us and served us with familiarity. The price, bearing in mind that the restaurant is located in the centre, is modest. Right quality/price.

30/03/2024: Trattoria located in the center of Orvieto a few steps from the cathedral. Polite and kind staff. Excellent value for money! We tried the pappardelle with wild boar which was really excellent. A plate of pasta each, a side dish, a coffee around 18 euros. Really excellent for the goodness and quality of the food. Highly recommended

05/04/2024: Characteristic place with paintings with historical references, a few steps from the Duomo. Absolutely try the focaccia with Orvieto porchetta, really tasty and satisfying with the possibility of adding: roasted potato cream, caramelized onion or vegetables.

15/03/2024: Pranzo al volo per lavoro e di passaggio. Ho conosciuto questo posto diversi anni fa. Non propone cucina all you can eat, ma ad esempio a pranzo ha un menù fisso dove puoi scegliere 1 antipasto, 1 primo, 1 secondo a scelta tra quelle proposte (acqua e coperto compreso). Non sono tantissime le scelte, però devo dire che se non vuoi fare il classico "pancia mia fatti capanna" comunque può andar bene per stare con lo stomaco pieno e non appesantito. Sono rimasto sorpreso dalla gentilezza e cordialità delle cameriere e soprattutto dall'ottimo cibo. Ogni piatto è stato ottimo. Apprezzato tantissimo il sashimi salmone, tenerissimo nonostante il taglio spesso. Alla fine se non ti sazi puoi sempre ordinare qualcos'altro dalla carta. Comunque per la seconda volta non mi ha deluso, anzi..sempre in meglio. Sicuramente se ripasso in zona nell' orario di pranzo sarà il mio pit stop.

01/04/2024: Very linear, clean and well-furnished environment, spaces that are not very large but livable. Good dishes and prices that align with what is offered to you. Carlo the owner is a nice and welcoming person who manages to make you feel at ease.

The service was gentle and attentive, complementing the exceptional quality of the food. Although the cheese course left me slightly disappointed due to personal taste preferences, the overall culinary journey was outstanding.

05/04/2024: Very kind to let us in at past 2pm, but unfortunately the truffle in the cut was completely tasteless and the cut; Salad paid €5, grilled vegetables another €5. Half a rooster and three bruschetta... a drain... but why did they make us pay for the delay??? Meh

03/04/2024: Awful experience! I took the vegetarian option and got nothing. The other people who took the option with meat got a littlepiece of meat (definitely not enough to fill them up). They also got baked patatoes, instead of giving them also to me, they just brought a small plate with some tomatoes and salad. As a vegetarian this should not be acceptable, especially in times like these. Would definitely NOT recommend this place if you’re hungry and hangry 😂!
