26/06/2025: Excellent trattoria in Orvieto. Delicious food and friendly service. I was also able to buy a bottle of the house wine. I'll be back anytime I'm in Orvieto.

18/06/2025: We had a fabulous meal at Consoli! We did the tasting menu of 6 courses and opted for the wine pairings--total of 90E/pp. (60 food/30 wine). We felt a great value compared to most other tasting menus that we have experienced. Seated in their garden on a picture perfect weather evening that was romantic and inviting at the same time. Courses were spaced perfectly with the correct portions. They were generous with their wine pours, total of 4 wines with the last being a dessert wine. Loved the amuse, bread and main of lamb chops! Two types of pasta prior to the main, cheese course and refreshing dessert to top off the perfect evening. If you would like a fine dining experience in Orvieto, I don't think you can do better than I Sette Consoli.

22/06/2025: La Locanda del Lupo is a quiet place in the historic center of Orvieto. It is a place that presents itself simply in its typical Umbrian architecture. It has furnishing elements in some cases out of context but a nice atmosphere. The food is good, especially the first courses, recommended those with fresh truffle. Simple service and friendly staff. Excellent location towards the main points of interest of the city

12/06/2025: Great place to have dinner in Orvieto, the food is excellent as in the whole region, excellent pasta and meat. The only negative note was that as soon as we finished dinner we had to run away because it was an exaggerated mosquito net :/

21/06/2025: Very nice place, good food, excellent wine and kind people... But there is a but.... Menu with deception.... Basically they put a note on the table apart from the menu that says 1 kg cut for two people 2 glasses and dessert 42 euros... So they bring you this 1 kg cut but on the bill you end up paying 84 euros 5 adults and 4 children Two cutting boards A pasta with baffo and pistachio 4 fettuncine with simple sauce Two 1 kg cuts with potatoes nearby with dessert and coffee included A pappardella with wild boar ragù Plenty of bread A bottle of wine for 25 euros 5 bottles of water Total 340.00 Considering that the children only ate a pasta with simple sauce and that's it. It's not so much the price but the lack of clarity of this menu apart that we didn't like!!!

30/06/2025: A lovely, quiet break. The access may seem a bit like a sleepy place, but the grounds and service are well-maintained. The dinner is a bit overpriced; I guess we know you won't leave once you're seated...

17/06/2025: Tonight, returning from the south to Turin, we stopped at Orvieto Scalo at the camper stop. We wanted to taste local products and we went into the San Michele pizzeria. We were immediately followed by the girl Elisa, who gave us information on their products in the kitchen. We tasted 2 appetizers, one mixed and one of bruschetta, 1 mixed grill with baked potatoes. To finish with a typical dessert (recommended) from Egypt. Everything very good, in fact exquisite!!! Highly recommended!!!! The cost? Normal, in fact less for a tourist place. BRAVI

14/06/2025: The best pizza we have had in a long time!! So so good and the place was super lively with people. I had the homemade lasagna which was amazing and melted in your mouth. My mum had the pizza and salad and it was amazing!! Also cannot skip the tiramisu so yummy and fluffy! If you are near here you should totally stop by you cannot miss it! Thank you for the wonderful different definetly will be back when we are in Italy again.

12/07/2025: A traditional osteria in the heart of Orvieto, in a highly touristy area, perfect for a lunch break between sightseeing. The restaurant has a rustic and friendly atmosphere, with outdoor seating and original details like the wall drawings and the slogan "If you have to dream, exaggerate," which add a touch of personality. I tried the umbrichelli with truffle: simple but delicious, with generous truffle shavings that give the dish an intense aroma and flavor. The portions were generous and beautifully served. The menu is extensive and well-curated, featuring many traditional Umbrian dishes, meats, side dishes, and homemade desserts. Prices are average for a tourist spot, but justified by the quality and central location. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is relaxed. An excellent choice for those who want to sample local cuisine in a lively and characteristic setting.

26/05/2025: Very busy, but it goes smoothly and quickly, Delicious pizza, mine with zucchini was a total surprise - delicious. The kids came back for more portions :) The lady serving - very nice and speaks English well

12/07/2025: I was drawn in by the tasteful jazz music and on first site the menu looked good, but a huge but indeed there is, mediocre quality of the food there is, chicken liver pate was dried out on the sides therefor not fresh garnished with orange zest bitter as hell and some dried out truffle shaving and on top some gin jelly, the sweet bread served with it made it bearable but overall bitter was the code word. the carbonara afterwards, served close to cold salted as it was made by someone whose taste buds stopped functioning a long time ago, a waste of food. Another remark, our wineglasses where poured conservatively compared to our American "neighbours" and this twice. Overpaid for what is was worth. not to say to avoid this place but consider yourself warned, the charming Jazz music is the only thing positive here *edit ,you're right the comment about the Conservative pouring the glasses was childish of me, it was a factual statement but not one that killed it for me. The ET remark? how inappropriate and unprofessional , my comment about the food was, again, factual, the pate was dried out on the borders ...read :a darker colour when too long exposed in open air , every knows that, no? the Gin Jelly Bread? Not well balanced in my opinion, I'm merely pointing out how this was perceived, why is this, again, being criticised with a childish remark? Instead of countering this review as an insult to your bigger than life service try to do better, be critical about how this service was perceived and improve. And for your knowledge , your Neighbour restaurant ( on your left side when you face your own) was absolutely fabulous. Food, wine , service, it missed the great music tough, so when it's good I write very very positive reviews. May the force e with you, yours truly, ET

04/07/2025: An absolutely delightful dinner from start to finish. The service was warm and attentive, with excellent recommendations that made our evening even more enjoyable. After bringing our “La Dolce Vita” program to Bistrò Miranda, we knew we had to return to savour a meal ourselves—and it did not disappoint. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. A true gem in Orvieto.

13/06/2025: We left the car in a public parking lot in Titignano, we took a tour of the village, there is a church and a restaurant. On foot we then followed a path of about 6 km, among beautiful vegetation, cultivated fields, olive groves, vineyards, cypress avenues, with glimpses of Lake Corbara, until we reached Roccaccia, a site of an old ruined castle. From this summit you have a beautiful glimpse of Lake Corbara and the Forello gorges, a natural canyon dug by the Tiber which here flows into the lake. A beautiful view, an easy and suggestive trek.

04/06/2025: Fantastic place to get married, especially if you have the opportunity to stay overnight. I have been invited to two weddings in Titignano and on both occasions I was thrilled. I can say that they were the most beautiful weddings I have ever attended, it must have been the possibility of sleeping there, the pool, the beauty of the view, or all of it.... Very clean and the staff was always polite and friendly.

27/06/2025: We found this place by chance while walking around the center of Orvieto, a very nice place. We asked for two for lunch, they seated us right away. The menu is rich in tradition. All the dishes we ordered were truly delicious. The aglione, dish of the day, was special. The attentive staff makes you feel at home. I recommend it to everyone.
