14/04/2026: I had a good time. The place is simple and welcoming, a bit retro but in keeping with the name "osteria." I didn't give it five stars because of the coffee (undrinkable) and the slightly high prices (for an osteria), but that's understandable. Would I go back?! Yes, definitely.

13/04/2026: Easter lunch with a limited menu, but everything was delicious. We especially enjoyed the homemade tagliolini with pancetta and artichokes, the roasted rabbit with potatoes, and my daughter's tiramisu.

15/03/2026: We came across this place while traveling from Florence to Rome and planning to visit Orvieto. By chance we saw a sign, decided to check it out, and were absolutely delighted with the place. It is a very well-maintained resort. The service from all the staff was excellent, and the rooms were beautifully cared for. The entire estate is stunning, with great facilities including a gym and swimming pools, and the view is unique. We had a wonderful meal at the restaurant and tasted their own wines, which we even bought to take with us. But please be informed that kids under 12 years old are not allowed. Our stay there was an unexpected and very pleasant surprise.

07/04/2026: We went there for Easter Monday with my wife and daughter. From the moment we arrived until we left, they treated us professionally. The food was delicious. We had a mixed antipasto and a tasting of the truly delicious olive oil. We had the fettuccine with wild boar, which was delicious, and the ravioli with Cintasenese beef were also excellent. The owner was very kind and attentive to our needs. I highly recommend it. The restaurant is beautiful because you eat inside a cave, immersed in history. If I ever return to Orvieto, I'll definitely stop by to eat again.

23/01/2026: A wonderful place for retreats, seminars, family celebrations, and weddings. The food is first-class, and the staff are very friendly and go out of their way to ensure guest satisfaction. Accommodation options range from private apartments to camping. The only downside is the dusty track leading to the castle. Driving slowly and keeping the car's ventilation closed is advisable... otherwise, everything will be covered in fine white dust, and your lungs will be irritated! 22/01/2026: A charming place, it feels like stepping back in time. I grew up there and it's always a thrill. As for the restaurant, the food is excellent and the rooms are very, very beautiful. It's a beautifully kept place. I highly recommend it.

11/04/2026: Nothing special. Nice place, but the food (we had the tagliata) was mediocre, especially for the price. Friendly staff.

05/04/2026: Last minute, we needed a reservation to eat, before we had a scheduled ride to the airport. We'd eaten here the year before, so we knew it was good. They accommodated us, and were excellent. The food is excellent and such a welcome change after being in Rome. Different and wonderful regional food. The staff is professional and were very nice. We had to run, which is against everything we like to do at an Italian dinner, but they were understanding and helped us stay on time. Go there. Sit longer than we did this time, and It's as good as anything you'll find for local, good food.

01/04/2026: Lunch with friends. Had a lovely day. We ate several dishes from the menu and off-menu, all excellent. Excellent wine and homemade desserts. Perfect service, courtesy and professionalism. Highly recommended.

10/01/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. We ate well. Tagliatelle with black truffle was truly delicious. The Orvieto Chardonnay was excellent. The wild boar with polenta and the mixed boiled meats were equally excellent. The desserts, both the castagnaccio and the ricotta cake, were truly delicious. The price was in line with the quality of the ingredients. Definitely worth trying.

14/12/2025: Fantastic sandwich in one of the quietest and most charming corners of town. The ingredients are undeniably high-quality, especially the porchetta and truffle cream. I think it's a father and son team that exudes warmth and a warm welcome.

18/11/2025: Aperitivo turned aperitivo, with a generous glass (they even have a select selection!) and a side (lots of delicious treats besides the chips). If the outdoor terrace were a little more refined, it would be the best.

07/04/2026: Fantastic pizza! The dough was very digestible and tasty, with a flavor that ensured the dough rose well. Compliments to the pizza chef.

24/01/2026: Ordered three takeout pizzas, very kind and courteous staff. Pizza chef Piero is excellent, and he devotes himself to making pizzas with love and passion. Usually, the food on weekends is poor and the digestion is difficult if you choose pizza, but this one, however, digested perfectly, so you can see the care taken in the dough that is not so obvious. The ingredients are very fresh, and the toppings on the pizza are generous. I will definitely be back 😎

25/12/2025: Very good pizzas. Plus very nice staff. We stay at the camping degli ulivi where they help us order takeaway pizza from here. I say it again very good pizzas.

17/04/2026: I had lunch at this osteria today. There were two of us, and we ordered a plate of umbrichelli with wild boar ragù, a plate of umbrichelli with porcini mushrooms, a portion of peposo, and a chocolate and hazelnut mousse. The umbrichelli with ragù were delicious, very flavorful, and although the wild boar meat can sometimes be too strong, in this dish it was perfectly balanced. As for the umbrichelli with porcini mushrooms, they were also very good; for personal taste, I would have preferred them a little more "savory." The peposo, accompanied by roasted potatoes, was soft and creamy. Finally, I was very impressed with the chocolate mousse; I also appreciated the crunchy contrast provided by the hazelnuts. The staff was very courteous, not pushy when serving us the next courses, and willing to explain some of the dishes. If I were to return to Orvieto, I would definitely consider eating here again.

15/04/2026: We went for lunch on April 12th, with four of us and two dogs. The restaurant was traditional and welcoming. The food was high quality and plentiful. The prices were fair for the quality and quantity. I highly recommend it; it was a great experience.

14/03/2026: We went here for lunch. No other customers. The manager took our order for two pastas and a salad which we requested becserved first and split between us. They brought one completely wrong pasta and the wrong salad. What the frug? The manager understood the order perfectly. He didn’t offer to correct the mistake or comp drinks or anything. I don’t think he liked our look. I’ve eaten all over Italy and never seen this type of clown show before.

14/03/2026: It's a truly historic restaurant, and that's precisely why it's so special. The food is obviously excellent: we loved it so much we ended up ordering another pasta dish. Even though we were Korean, the entire staff was incredibly kind to us. They explained the menu well and gave us excellent suggestions. The atmosphere is beautiful, but what struck us most is how they continue to respect the traditions of the past. For example, they only serve wine and water, just like they did in the past, with no other beverages. It's rare and very charming. If we return to Orvieto, this place will definitely be a must-see. 10/03/2026: I arrived around 1:30 PM after visiting the Orvieto Underground. I heard they offer a chance to sample medieval Orvieto cuisine, so I went. The server was very friendly. I had the thick, round Umbrian truffle carbonara pasta and the flat fettuccine ragu pasta. Both were delicious, especially the truffle carbonara. I highly recommend it. For dessert, I ordered chocolate cake and drank it with espresso. The chocolate cake was filled with rich chocolate cream, giving it a rich chocolate flavor.
