15/12/2025: I stopped in for lunch on October 30th, 2025 while strolling around Orvieto. It started to rain, so I stopped inside for a hot break. I was in a bit of a hurry, so I could only order something light, but the friendly service warmed my heart. The pasta and tiramisu were both delicious ❤ Grazie!

14/12/2025: The best wild boar ragu I've ever had, flavorful and with plenty of minced wild boar (not just a few pieces by mistake like at many other places) and a generous portion. The umbrichelli all'aglione and the pork shank, which comes with side dishes, are also very good. The atmosphere is a bit cramped but comfortable. Prices are very reasonable for the quality offered. Highly recommended.

01/01/2026: Lunch with excellent cold cuts for an appetizer, delicious bucatini all'amatriciana for a first course, and then tiramisu, and... what can I say... Go try them.

31/12/2025: Excellent food, excellent service, a very satisfying experience! Good value. The crostini were delicious and aromatic, the fillet steak very tasty, and afterward, we had a second crostini and a cheese selection. Worth it!

06/01/2026: A family-run restaurant with a wood-fired oven, not far from Orvieto. A great way to explore the surrounding area and start the year off right.

07/01/2026: Truly excellent... Fantastic location, surrounded by greenery, as is the cleanliness of the place. A family-run restaurant for decades, all the staff are polite, attentive, and friendly. Varied and traditional menu... cooked with care and with excellent ingredients, simple, yet flavorful and prepared to perfection. Nothing to complain about; everything was explained with great care and knowledge of what was to be served. Excellent wines. We had lunch on January 2nd for four people. 10/01/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. We ate well. Tagliatelle with black truffle was truly delicious. The Orvieto Chardonnay was excellent. The wild boar with polenta and the mixed boiled meats were equally excellent. The desserts, both the castagnaccio and the ricotta cake, were truly delicious. The price was in line with the quality of the ingredients. Definitely worth trying.

05/01/2026: We originally came to Charlie’s looking for pizza but accidentally arrived too early to get pizza. Regardless it was amazing, the vegetable soup was perfect for a cold day. My sister who has celiac, often making it difficult to find an enjoyable dining experience, was met with many options on the menu. She was even given gluten free crackers as an alternative for the bread the rest of us were given. We had many restrictions in our party aside from the celiac, including nut allergies and a vegetarian diet, all of which were accommodated to. The wine and espresso were both amazing and had great flavor. The service was excellent and our server was patient with us, providing us insight on the menu in English. This is most definitely somewhere I would recommend.

04/01/2026: The waiter was arrogant. We asked for fries for a little girl, and he replied in a curt tone, "We don't do that here..." The pizza, on the other hand, was delicious.

31/12/2025: I went with a group of friends, and the hotel was all to ourselves. The food was very good, and the staff were helpful and friendly. For me, it's a magical place. The view in the early morning is wonderful for one reason, and in the evening for another, but always wonderful!

14/12/2025: Fantastic sandwich in one of the quietest and most charming corners of town. The ingredients are undeniably high-quality, especially the porchetta and truffle cream. I think it's a father and son team that exudes warmth and a warm welcome.

06/12/2025: It's now our regular stop, especially after summer motorcycle rides when we can't wait to cool off. Come rain, shine, or winter, we always come here for some excellent ice cream. The new flavors I offer are always amazing and very unique.

04/11/2025: We had lunch here on our last day in Orvieto. We had focaccia with prosciutto, stuffed rabbit with a side dish, and pavlova. The food was very good, the place was very nice, and the service was attentive. Everything was great.

17/10/2025: We booked with The Fork. Excellent welcome. An unsolicited entree kicked off the meal. We asked for a carbonara with a pasta substitution, and they accommodated us without further ado. However, I found the carbonara a bit disjointed, although good. But my 10/10 goes to the Argentine Angus steak with soy sauce reduction. A stroke of genius.

04/01/2026: Excellent and meticulously prepared dishes, the staff are very friendly and attentive to detail, and the background music is very pleasant. If you're in the area, don't miss it!

03/01/2026: Outstanding jewel in Orvieto. The food was delicious, there was a moment me and my husband went silent because the food was soooo good. Everything tasted so perfect, you don't want it to end! The cherry on top was Sicilian cannoli in passion fruit sauce. What a treat! And the service was very friendly, fast and the waiters were very knolageble and welcoming. Will definitely return.

13/01/2026: An average restaurant, but unfortunately, it didn't leave any particular impressions. The tagliata didn't live up to expectations; it's hard to even classify it. Basic service, pleasant atmosphere, two rooms, one more welcoming, the other less so... overall, the experience was rather unimpressive. It's a shame, because there are definitely better options in the Orvieto area.

07/01/2026: Great restaurant! The menu is consistent with the area and local traditions. The first courses were excellent, especially the tagliatelle. We really appreciated the quality of the pasta and its cooking. The service was fast and friendly. Reservations are recommended, as the place filled up quickly. Although the town is small and easy to navigate, the restaurant is conveniently located. A good choice considering the quality and price, even though ours was a quick and simple lunch.
