22/08/2026: An incredible culinary experience and a truly rocking atmosphere! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ At Trattoria del Moro Aronne I had a first course that literally amazed me with its simplicity and deliciousness: a fava bean carbonara with crispy bacon, simply delicious. A dish with top marks that I will definitely make again at home, thanks to the precious information and advice the owner gave me. He is a fantastic person: kind, super friendly, and with a decidedly rock soul! To round off the meal on a high note, I paired it with a phenomenal IPA craft beer, a gem not so easy to find elsewhere. Wonderful atmosphere, superb food, and so much great energy. Highly recommended!

08/07/2026: Especially these days, it's very difficult to combine three generations in a provincial restaurant, but there are those who have succeeded! I've known the place (a trattoria, then a restaurant) since the 1990s. The only common thread is the quality and authenticity of the products on the menu. Once upon a time, a plate of pasta, macaroni, umbrichelle, puff pastry, strictly handmade, flour, eggs, water, a pinch of salt, as per Umbrian tradition. Today, a first course worthy of the name! A second course, a side dish, and so on, including wine, water, a tablecloth (certainly not made of TNT), and everything else needed to ensure the customer enjoys a pleasant moment in life in absolute harmony with the food, all while always pampered by a skilled and professional service aimed at maximizing the exaltation of the culinary art, an art which, not coincidentally, is expressed by a wise woman and a chef who graduated from the Orvieto hotel school with excellent grades.

07/07/2026: Does everything work here? Yes, it's all super! Futuristic cellar! Here you can find niche wines that don't comply with EEC standards, made by courageous winemakers who still dare to dream. This must be given credit to those who manage wine with dedication and passion (increasingly rare today). What about the dishes? Seasonal, high-quality raw materials. Simplicity of flavors served with absolute expertise and hints of creativity... what more could you want in a lunch/dinner? When you get up from the table and ask yourself if you enjoyed it? And you answer yes, you did.

27/07/2026: A great little shop for a sandwich with typical local products, it's currently located at the entrance to Via Magioni coming from the cathedral. Recommended if you're looking for something simple.

01/07/2026: Beautiful experience!!! 😍 we had two pizzas, which even if they weren't wood-fired, were really good (gorgonzola and pear pizza was special and tasty! 😋). Peach dessert with ice cream, fabulous!!! 🫶🏻 The owner and all the staff were really kind and knowledgeable!! It was a beautiful and super romantic experience!!! 🥰 👏🏻 really well done!!!

16/06/2026: We had 2 meals from and at Charlie Ristorante. 1 - a takeaway pizza that was wonderful and delicious 2 - a sit down meal in the ristorante that was simply spectacular. We’ve been travelling through Italy for nearly a month and this place is one of the best places we’ve dined at. We highly recommended eating here.

19/08/2026: We dined at this trattoria on the recommendation of a woman from Orvieto. There were three of us, and we ordered an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses and a plate of bruschetta with cherry tomatoes. In my opinion, the cured meats were supermarket-quality, and the cheeses were generally good, but the nettle ravioli weren't homemade, partly because they were all identical in shape and filling. I can't comment on the desserts because we didn't order them. Personally, I wouldn't recommend it, especially since we've eaten elsewhere and generally had a great experience. It's a shame because the place is nice, but my opinion is very objective.

06/12/2025: It's now our regular stop, especially after summer motorcycle rides when we can't wait to cool off. Come rain, shine, or winter, we always come here for some excellent ice cream. The new flavors I offer are always amazing and very unique.

29/07/2026: They told us to come here to experience Orvieto's traditional cuisine, and they were right! Stunning views of the city of Orvieto, super friendly and professional staff, and they welcomed us right away. We shared an appetizer of local cured meats, alternating strong and delicate flavors with a variety of pleasant textures (a solid 8). Next, we had tortelli stuffed with fava beans, local goat cheese fondue, and crispy fava beans (very delicate, you can taste every bite, 9.5). My partner, meanwhile, had a slice of beef with charcoal-cooked potatoes (the meat was rare, melt-in-the-mouth, and the potatoes were very flavorful, 10). If we ever pass through the area again in the future, we'll definitely return to Girarrosto Del Buongustaio!

02/06/2026: Disrespectful to tourists. I was alone, looking for good, authentic food, and waited over 30 minutes. The owner barely looked at me; other Italians called him over, telling him I was waiting. When he finally attended to me, even though there were two empty tables, he wouldn't let me sit down, saying he was waiting for other Italians to arrive. After waiting an hour, he said I would be seated in 30 minutes, but the restaurant closed in 15 minutes... I went to the restaurant next door, Al Pozzo, where the service was much better and the food was excellent.

13/01/2026: An average restaurant, but unfortunately, it didn't leave any particular impressions. The tagliata didn't live up to expectations; it's hard to even classify it. Basic service, pleasant atmosphere, two rooms, one more welcoming, the other less so... overall, the experience was rather unimpressive. It's a shame, because there are definitely better options in the Orvieto area.

07/01/2026: Great restaurant! The menu is consistent with the area and local traditions. The first courses were excellent, especially the tagliatelle. We really appreciated the quality of the pasta and its cooking. The service was fast and friendly. Reservations are recommended, as the place filled up quickly. Although the town is small and easy to navigate, the restaurant is conveniently located. A good choice considering the quality and price, even though ours was a quick and simple lunch.

13/08/2026: Dinner with a wide selection of options, including off-menu options. Friendly and attentive waiter. The meal also includes entry to the labyrinth, which can be visited after the meal.
