09/05/2025: La Trattoria del Moro è uno di quei posti che ti riconciliano col buon mangiare al centro di una città turistica (molto turistica), cioè dove ci si potrebbe aspettare la (ahimè) consueta trappola per turisti, si scopre invece un ristorante con cibo ottimo, personale cortese e preparato e prezzi molto onesti. Location centrale ma tranquilla, molto ben arredata in maniera ccogliente. Carbonara di fave e baffo ottima, baccalà all’orvietana e pollo alla cacciatora top, contorni di verdure fresche ottimi, calice di Orvieto fresco: e quindi... what else? Ho molto apprezzato anche il proprietario, gentile, professionale, battuta pronta ma non invadente, che una volta tanto non ci ha propinato l'usuale pistolotto su olio EVO, km zero etc etc... facendo parlare solo i suoi prodotti: BRAVO!|!! Torneremo ;-)

07/05/2025: RIstorante consigliato da un'autoctona, beh che dire, consigliato bene! Pranzo di coppia, primi da paura (lasagna al pecorino e miele, una delizia, e tagliatelle funghi e salsiccia... buonissima). Tagliate al tartufo e al rogo buonissime. Sul cibo andate sul sicuro! Cameriere gentilissimo, simpaticissimo e spiritoso, una chicca in più! Eh poi...se gli dite "non stare a guardare il capello" vi comprende al volo! Assolutamente consigliato, ci ritorneremo!

01/05/2025: Abbiamo pranzato con panino gourmet, torta al testo, birra artigianale : un' esplosione di sapori, prodotti di ottima qualità. Abbiamo terminato con una torta fatta in casa al cacao davvero gustosa ed un bicchiere di vin santo: accostamenti di profumo e gusto delicatissimi. Il locale è piccolo ma accogliente, il personale è davvero gentile (anche con la bottega piena). Davvero consigliato!

I truly recommend it to everyone to enjoy excellent dishes served with courtesy and professionalism. Il Cocco is truly worth a 5 star review overall.

21/04/2025: On the menu card presented wild boar at a price of €18.50 per portion, but it was already finished and they recommended pork. So far so good🤣 But only question: since when did a pig become more expensive than a wild boar? €23 per portion. Other... I thought it wasn't possible to ruin panna cotta.... instead just put plenty of salt on top. In the end €116 for two: starter weight 80-90 grams for two + 2 small bruschettas. Meat per portion does not exceed 180 grams. House wine 1/2 liter €14. It seems exaggerated to me, but maybe good for some people😉

27/04/2025: Nice restaurant near the centre. The wild boar first courses are good. the truffle tagliatelle are discreet. Luckily they are served with real truffles and not with truffle cream and that's it. The shank was excellent... really well cooked. Soft... Melts in your mouth. Good value for money and good prices too... Usually in these tourist locations you eat little, badly and you pay a fortune. Here, however, you can eat well and the bill is honest. The only flaw is the mark-up on wines. However, if you go to Orvieto I recommend you have lunch in this place also for the friendly service and the speed of the cuisine. Reservation recommended and punctuality recommended.

18/04/2025: One of our favorite restaurants and experiences in all of Umbria! The patio was breathtaking and the food, especially the pistachio filet, was truly memorable and remarkable. The pastas are all made by hand each day and the restaurant was beautiful and so clean and we really enjoyed our time here. We brought our kids as well and they loved their food. They also had high chairs and lots of space inside and outside.

28/04/2025: Localino delizioso in piazza del popolo. Si mangia da Dio, ho mangiato la barbazza con salvia ed aceto ed era da leccarsi i baffi, poi pasta fresca fatta in casa con guanciale e pistacchio una cosa sublime, non parliamo poi del dolce, panna cotta con riso e cannella troppo buona, soldi spesi benissimo, super consigliata.

26/04/2025: Abbiamo preso 5 piatti di Umbriatelli con pecorino (tra l'altro allungato con panna...) e sella e uno di questi era palesemente più abbondante degli altri, abbiamo esposto la nostra perplessità in merito e la risposta della cameriera è stata: " la cucina non si è organizzata bene". Nella sala dove eravamo i camerieri portavano i piatti non ordinati ai vari tavoli, una confusione e un pasticcio totale. Non lo consiglio e non ci tornerei più.

30/04/2025: A unique experience... Very quiet environment and indescribable food, we tasted the house starter, pappardelle with wild boar, strips of wild boar with dogfish and grilled sausages with chicory and a dessert... 5 stars are not enough! Highly recommended
