11/01/2025: Orvieto is a wonderful city, but unfortunately our experience did not end in the best way. We had dinner in a cold room and, after asking if it was possible to raise the temperature or move to a warmer area, we were told that the problem was caused by people who went to the bathroom without closing the door. Among us there was a person undergoing chemotherapy, and we kindly asked if they could bring us two chips or anything else to allow her to take her pills, which must be taken at specific times. The answer? “There are other tables.” After half an hour of waiting, we had to ask for something to eat again, underlining the urgency linked to the needs of the therapy. However, we were told that another table had priority and that they would be served first. Apparently, in the restaurant it works like in a butcher's shop: one table at a time. The pizzas arrived very late, clearly unleavened and of poor quality. The service, already unsatisfactory, was the worst part of the experience. Importantly, the place was practically empty, which makes the whole situation even more surreal. Overall rating? Less than one. A disconcerting experience that left us deeply disappointed.

29/12/2024: Cold room, without any heat source. Very long waiting times for three first courses and a portion of chips. I would like to remind these people that if people come for dinner it is because they are also hungry. Meager dishes (among other things, a white pasta for a small child, 10 euros, shameful), in particular the first bacon and pecorino was really poor. We wanted to order something else but then, given the biblical times, the quality of the dishes and the cold, we opted to leave. Change job! Happy New Year

06/01/2024: Special "New Year" evening.... applause to all the waiters forced to work in a bedlam of cheering people. I can say that for this particular evening the food was very good.

05/02/2025: Di passaggio ad Orvieto siamo andati a fare un pranzo veloce in questo locale, abbiamo letto microbirrificio e siamo stati attratti amanti della birra. Infatti birre strepitose abbiamo assaggiato la IPA poi fettuccine al cinghiale Baccalà mantecato e caffè ottimo sicuramente se torniamo a fare un'altra passeggiata ci torniamo.

06/01/2025: L’aspetto del locale è sicuramente invitante, curato e accogliente, ma l’esperienza non ha del tutto soddisfatto le aspettative. Abbiamo scelto il fuori menù perché sembrava interessante, ma il risultato è stato altalenante. Lo spezzatino di cinghiale si è rivelato deludente: il sapore autentico della carne era completamente coperto dal pomodoro e da un eccesso di spezie, rendendolo indistinguibile da un comune piatto di carne al sugo. Gli gnocchi al cinghiale erano decisamente migliori, ma nulla di memorabile. Buona la birra artigianale, un punto positivo in un contesto che lascia però qualche dubbio sulla fama del locale. Servizio corretto e conto adeguato, ma l’impressione generale è che il nome del locale superi di poco la qualità dell’esperienza.

03/03/2025: L'unico piatto da salvare, molto buono, è stato la coratella. I primi con poco sapore: tagliatelle con rigaglie asciutte e con poca carne, agnolotti al tartufo...senza profumo, lo stesso dicasi per l'arrosto al tartufo. Saremo stati poco fortunati ! Il servizio poi, con locale pieno, un solo cameriere che girava...e faceva errori.

28/10/2024: È una trattoria Autentica,verace,Genuina:piatti della tradizione,cucinati come li farebbe la vostra nonna.Siamo stati sabato scorso,su segnalazione di un amico del posto.All'ingresso ci accoglie il bar ,poi nella sala successiva si entra nella trattoria:semplice e pulita,tovaglia di carta...ma chissene importa è dentro il piatto che troverete i sapori antichi .Fino a sabato la migliore coratella della mia vita l'avevo assaggiata da nonna Rita,ma questa ( sia pur con l'aggiunta del pomodoro)la eguaglia.Bruschette x antipasto,buone le pappardelle con il sugo di cinghiale ( molto sottile la sfoglia e sugo non molto pesante),delicato il filetto di maiale al pepe verde e ottima la costata di scottona alla brace,con rosmarino...in aggiunta (richiesta da me) un'ottima salsiccia alla brace,per contorno cicoria ed bieta ripassate in padella.i tozzetti con il vino santo come dessert e vino della casa rosso Prezzo onesto .Come buon peso,un servizio gentile e veloce, torneremo e lo consiglieremo agli amici!

03/05/2025: Absolutely avoid. We went to this place near the beautiful Marmore Falls and unfortunately the experience was terrible from every point of view. Upon arrival the staff seemed friendly, but then quickly revealed themselves to be extremely disorganized. We waited over an hour to be served and, when the dishes finally arrived, the one intended for a little girl was missing, who waited in vain while everyone else had already finished eating. The quality of the food was disappointing: hot dog served "on the plate" translated into a half-raw sausage thrown there, without a minimum of care. Prices completely disproportionate to what was offered. In all honesty: better to bring a sandwich from home and enjoy nature in the beautiful park right in front. This place, unfortunately, is the only sour note in a day that could have been perfect.

15/03/2025: Nonostante lo sconto troppo caro per essere una trattoria, non mi era mai successo che il vino venisse servito a tavola già stappato e il cameriere nemmeno ha chiesto se ci piacesse o meno. Un tagliere con 4 fettine di affettati misti e 3 bruschette di 4cm al costo di 16€, una tagliata semplice 20€. Ma stiamo scherzando? In altri locali della città allo stesso prezzo fai un menù a base di tartufo!

10/04/2025: It says sandwiches outside but when you go inside it doesn't have any sandwiches On the counter there are small focaccias that sell them like them, boasting of a long leavening Ham cut very thin and very salty Exaggerated price The madman's refreshment? The madness is going there I recommend the much more well-stocked nearby bar within walking distance

08/04/2025: To be avoided. Drunk owner who doesn't show up for work. I stopped by for lunch on April 1st at 12pm and for dinner on April 2nd at 7.30pm and always found it closed. Finding it closed, I called first in both cases to find out if they were open or if the opening times on Google hadn't been updated, still trying to get some explanations. In both cases on the phone he tried more than tipsy to dish out some super fucks. Fabio, apparently the owner, is known by his fellow villagers (and as demonstrated by telephone) for always being with the flask in one hand and holding his big Pinocchio nose in the other. Definitely not reliable. They say the meat is good, but the way he acts makes me think that his meat isn't that good after all. It would make me go sideways. Ridiculous. He said these exact words to me: do I look like someone who needs to keep the place open? Is a customer treated like this? Yet I wouldn't even spend a little to eat good meat. If the meat gives me so much, it is mediocre as is the attitude of the owner. By the way, drunkards with their heads soaked in wine disgust me and even make me feel a little sorry. Aripiate. We can't behave like this. Reading other reviews it's not the first time. I only wish you the last one. This is how this individual's behavior disappointed me. I am very saddened. We rely on reviews, we rely on timetables written on Google, but above all we rely on the ethics and good manners of the owner. Above all, dignity is inevitable.

06/04/2025: Grande affabilità e cortesia all'arrivo, ma è solo di facciata, se vi piace pagare per farvi offendere, questo è il posto giusto. Ci complimentiamo per la bellezza del paese, il cameriere risponde parlando male dei romani. Mi permetto di interromperlo, per fargli notare che anche noi siamo di Roma, dandogli l'occasione di rimediare alla gaffe. Nessuna gaffe, aveva capito perfettamente e lo sproloquio discriminatorio era diretto proprio a noi, entrati da appena due minuti nel locale. Non faccio intenzionalmente commenti, perché voglio pormi su un altro piano. A parte questo il servizio è attento e veloce. Il tono del ristorante è inutilmente pretenzioso, la cucina è buona, ma nella media (coniglio poco cotto). Scelta volutamente assai limitata di primi e contorni. Un'esperienza.

02/01/2025: Unica nota positiva il personale piacevole e carino. Per ilresto non so come abbia un punteggio così alto . Inspiegabile. Antipasti insipidi considerata la cucina umbra sapido. Sono entrato per mangiare il famoso piccione all'orvietana e mi sono ritrovato un piccione bollito e immerso jn una salsa rossa che tutto aveva tranne che essere una riduzione di vino. Peccato davvero

28/12/2024: I bambini avevano fame, così siamo entrati, per così dire, nel primo ristorante che ci è capitato. Anche se avevo notato velocemente che le recensioni segnavano 4,5 stelle, non riesco davvero a capire come si possa attribuire una valutazione così alta a un locale del genere. Lo stile è fermo agli anni Ottanta, il servizio è scadente e le porzioni sono ridicole. Abbiamo speso 120 euro per mangiare praticamente il nulla: un antipasto pessimo e indecente. In conclusione, evitatelo assolutamente. È un posto in cui non tornerei nemmeno gratis.
