Antica Fiaschetteria Orvietana In Orvieto

We were passing by like many tourists, the music struck me, and I said let's eat here... The staff and owner were truly extraordinary, an experience of taste and tradition... We're truly happy to have spent three evenings there, thank you.

You eat on the street, only one waiter at least when I went, old place, scandalous bathroom, poor table service, I had a full menu for €19 outside I had drinks and cover charge for what I spent I ate very little, portions were nibbled

The service is a bit distracted and the menu is a bit limited in portions.

Quick lunch We took the kids to play in Orvieto, so we took the opportunity to stroll downtown and booked here. A small place full of 1970s-era items—colorful flasks hung everywhere, a piano in the dining room, and everything a little bit different. It's very personal, like the friendly owner. We opted for the set menu, which includes a first course, a second course with a side, water, and bread for €19.90. It was excellent, with three choices per course. The place was fully booked, the first courses were very good, with these umbrichelli carbonara or cacio e pepe. The second courses were the porchetta or pork steak—good, the side dishes were not bad. The house wine, donuts, and vin santo were all perfect. I noticed that in Orvieto, the set menu for tourists was pretty much everywhere. We ate well and spent little, which isn't often the case in Tuscany.

First of all, I found this little restaurant really charming. More importantly, the food was amazing—even though I only tried something simple, the menu del giorno. The pasta tasted truly homemade and was absolutely delicious. And the porchetta… it’s hard to describe, but I could happily live on that porchetta. The portions weren’t huge, but they were more than enough for me.

We stopped at this restaurant by chance, located near the funicular exit. An excellent choice, we enjoyed a truly delicious set menu. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Orvieto for a weekend.

The best amatriciana I've ever eaten. The place is dated, but the food is phenomenal.

The pasta carbonara and the set menu were excellent, delicious!!! The wine was very good 😳🙏 I'll be back!!
