02/06/2025: Great experience and dinner in the center of Narni during the Corsa all'Anello festival, a renovated and newly managed restaurant (this is what the very nice guys explained to us), we ate truffle for two (very good scrambled and sliced ​​that melted in the mouth) and drank a red Montefalco on the advice. Excellent prices for how we ate, we will return on other occasions... recommended!

02/06/2025: We happened upon Osteria del Fondaco by chance, without a reservation, during a visit to Narni. The place immediately struck us with its essential and refined style, welcoming in its simplicity. We started with Il Cartoccio, perfect for sharing: a rich and tasty mix with Umbrian supplì, arancini (one speck and radicchio, the other cacio e pepe), eggplant meatballs and stuffed courgette flower. Generous portions and authentic flavours. Among the first courses, the tortelli stuffed with Chianina beef with saffron cream (requested without truffle) were delicate but decisive, a perfect balance. For the second course, the eggplant and courgette tower parmigiana with burrata and basil chlorophyll was a very pleasant surprise, also ideal for those looking for vegetarian options. We ended in style with a taste of tiramisu and a seasonal fruit platter with dark chocolate ganache: freshness and deliciousness in one dish. Everything was really excellent. A place to come back to. We asked for a bottle of water, and when we asked to pay with the card because we didn't have 1 euro in change, he refused to give it to us and added that in that case we would have to pay 20 cents more. Needless to say, the adjacent bar gave us water, also at 1 euro, without batting an eyelid.

30/12/2024: Small but well-stocked place with both a tobacconist and small services such as bars and snacks. The staff is courteous and approachable. I had Kimbo coffee for a little break (without having a glass of water which almost everyone usually gives). Normal prices, warm environment.

07/04/2025: Location with a beautiful view of Orvieto, but being directly overlooking the A1 and the high-speed railway line there is constant background noise that cannot be ignored. Clean rooms but a little neglected: in the bathroom of our room there was no bidet, replaced by a rather poorly placed shower head, and on the toilet there was a seat much smaller than the toilet, which was also in bad shape. Dinner to forget: long waits, low quality and even a dog from the property wandering among the tables. Not only that, we were also treated with arrogance in response to our polite complaints about dishes that were absolutely not up to standard. Never again!

07/06/2025: Very friendly staff but the exorbitant and NOT displayed prices of the sandwiches are not the winning choice! In fact at lunchtime there were very few people in the bar. We will definitely not go back there again... Not even for a coffee at €1.30

27/03/2025: Terrible experience! We ordered via the TooGoodToGo app, and the quality of the food was absolutely disappointing. The pizza had tangy cheese, which in addition to tasting horrible, gave off a disgusting smell. The texture was inedible, and even though we reheated it in the air fryer, the cheese became practically plastic. Evidently, the pizza looked like it was from days ago, which is not a good enough reason to serve it in these conditions. Absolutely not recommended, I will never return!

01/06/2025: Great experience here. Waiter was very welcoming and engaging. Food was outrageously delicious - "Era davvero delizioso." Orvieto was stunning. Definitely go here.

30/05/2025: Posto peggiore dove ho mangiato …se un semplice filetto di pollo con finocchi e arance …pollo bruciato e secco , ginocchi solo due ciuffi , pane duro ….esperienza orrenda gestito da ragazzine ….che vi hanno fatto aspettare 1 ora per mangiare una schifezza…..mai più !!!

I piatti ordinati sono tutti molto buoni (umbricelli all’oca, ravioli alle erbe, faraona alla cacciatora, cicoria di campagna) cucina casereccia e ricette tradizionali Proprietario gentile ….Lo consiglio

17/04/2025: salve ci siamo fermati in questa trattoria attratti dalla presenza di numerosi tir parcheggiati, in due abbiamo preso un sol primo ed un solo secondo che abbiamo diviso con contorni e dolce. tutto ottimo ma il conto non mi sembra alla portata di camionisti........

04/04/2025: Scelgo questo posto per caso. Mai scelta migliore. Si mangia la cucina tipica locale, con i prodotti freschi di stagione. Cucina tradizionale ottima. Ambiente informale e amichevole. Prezzi ottimi. Con 40euro ci siamo mangiati dall'antipasto al dolce (più un giro di arrosticini), compreso di vino e bevande. Porzioni abbondanti. Consigliatissimo

31/05/2025: For goodness sake....never again.....I order the sausages and after 1 hour and that's not a figure of speech.....an hour had actually passed.....they tell me it is but now it takes another 7/8 minutes.....I said forget it because otherwise I would leave at 1 in the morning....I had asked for another beer nothing.......they didn't even say sorry we forgot......I give the service one star because 0 can't be given. For goodness sake avoid

26/05/2025: HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED, VERY POORLY MANAGED!! We came at 8:00 pm and started ordering at 8:40 pm, they didn't even bring the starter bread and drinks, we started eating the appetizer at 9:30 pm after waiting 50 minutes, 50 MINUTES OF WAITING from ordering and over 1 hour and a half from arrival. For 2 medium appetizers and 3 portions of chips. In addition to this, the pizzas didn't even arrive until 10:30 pm. We decided to get up and leave because of the pitiful service. At the time of payment they made us pay €51 for having eaten almost nothing other than 2 medium appetizers which only have the name medium since they weren't even single portions and 3 portions of chips. NOT RECOMMENDED.
