Given that 4 out of 5 stars is a positive review, perhaps even more positive than it deserves, I'm being kind and assume it was a somewhat off-the-charts evening. The beers were excellent, and the staff member was very kind, even offering to let me taste some before ordering. Service wasn't the fastest, but it was Saturday night! The food and dishes, some interesting, others seemed a bit cheap: the white pork ragù passed right by my plate but didn't stop there, the thin-cut prosciutto on the pizza was transparent, the mozzarella in carrozza (in a carriage) was two (not large) instead of the three listed on the menu, the "cacio e uova" (cheese and eggs) were the size of quail eggs, etc. Furthermore, you can't rely on the website https://www.ristorantelacruda.com/ or the menu on Google Maps because the menu at the restaurant is much smaller and prices are about double those on the website. Even the desserts (strawberries without cream) listed on the blackboards as €4 were listed on the receipt as €6 (and they were really 3 cut strawberries!).

Impeccable and friendly service. The beer pairing with the pizza, chosen by the owner, was excellent! The pizza was amazing. The place has a fantastic atmosphere. I highly recommend it! This is our fourth visit, and it will definitely be our best and permanent place in Terni for drinks and beer.

I would describe this place as simple, with friendly service, excellent traditional food, special pizzas, and it's also a beer house. I highly recommend it!
