07/10/2025: A restaurant serving traditional cuisine with period decor. Delicious food and huge portions. Superb value for money. We'll definitely return. Wait times are a bit long on weekends as the restaurant is always crowded.

06/09/2025: If you're in Gubbio, you absolutely must go. Dinner is served in the Piazza San Martino, and that alone is worth it. Everything is delicious, and the cuisine ranges from tongue and snails to tortellini in parmesan and truffle cream, to beef tartare and carpaccio. I'll definitely be back! Book ahead!

08/09/2025: Vineria dei Re is definitely a good place to enjoy Gubbio specialties. The atmosphere is unpretentious, casual, and perfect for a casual evening in a lovely little square in the center of Gubbio. The platter of cured meats and the typical local crescia are delicious, as are the eggs with truffles. The staff are very friendly, but coming to ask several times in the space of a few minutes if we'd chosen (and they'd practically just given us the menus) isn't the best, unless you're spending hours choosing. Do I recommend it? Yes, absolutely, but I think it has the potential to be even better.

10/10/2025: In my opinion, it's the best ice cream shop in Gubbio and the surrounding area. They change the ingredients in their ice cream and yogurt every year. Prices are very good, and the quality/price ratio is top-notch!

17/09/2025: Excellent ice cream with a truly wide variety of flavors. The staff is extremely kind and friendly. But above all, the atmosphere is comfortable and spotlessly clean.

13/10/2025: A lovely family-run inn, with very good food, simple and traditional, but expertly prepared. Good value. The owners are very kind and friendly. The place is very small, so reservations are recommended.

12/10/2025: Excellent dinner. Fettuccine with truffle and porcini mushrooms was truly excellent. Traditional flavors that are hard to find.

17/10/2025: We were in Gubbio for a weekend, and while strolling through the city streets, we noticed this little place. As soon as we entered, we noticed the modern decor and the friendly welcome from the staff. The quality of the food is very good, from the simple appetizer to the main courses with truffle specialties, and topped off with a delicious dessert. The prices are average. If we were to return to Gubbio, we would definitely consider it again.

16/10/2025: Throughout the entire service, we were never asked if everything was okay. Once we'd finished eating, the waiter quickly took our plates away without a word. We would have liked to order at least one more course to share, two desserts, and a coffee, yet there was no interest in being served. It wasn't after hours and there weren't many people. For a total cover charge of €5, I'm sorry, but that's unacceptable. The decor is nice, the food is okay, but the service is subpar. We were ignored. I'm sorry, and I speak as someone who's worked in the industry for years. Perhaps it's more of a place for tourists and older people, especially considering the songs, which are certainly upbeat but have sexist lyrics.

17/10/2025: We work in the Gubbio area and were recommended this place. The menu is perfect (you won't leave hungry), the place is quaint, and the service is fast and friendly.

15/10/2025: The place is very nice, under the vaults. The staff is okay, nothing more. The food is good and for totally reasonable prices, which is not the case with other places in Gubbio... So I think it's a good address :)

07/10/2025: We had dinner at Taverna last night to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. We sampled appetizers, then I had a first course and he had a second course. The service was impeccable (as was the case at Bosone Garden, which they also manage, and at Ducale). We'll be back very soon!

07/10/2025: Good evening, I wanted to congratulate you on your professionalism, the ambiance, and the food. I have to criticize the first course, tagliatelle with fresh truffle. It was anything but fresh. The truffle slices were layered with too much butter, making it taste like pasta with butter. And finally, the excessive price, €26, for a dish that I would have gladly spent if it had been topped with fresh truffle. Good luck!

26/09/2025: A family-friendly and informal atmosphere. The food is excellent; when we're in Gubbio, we always eat at La Balestra. We've known it our whole lives, and it always maintains high standards. Highly recommended, even for vegetarians.

Locale davvero molto piacevole e accogliente dove puoi goderti tranquillamente la tua serata. 28/09/2025: I'm just saying that my husband would love to come back here many more times. We've been here for dinner and lunch and had a truly wonderful meal. The dishes are homemade, plentiful, and excellent, with a vast selection of first courses (we tried four over the two days, and we can honestly say they were all better than the last). The staff is young and incredibly friendly. The wait times are short, even on a Saturday night. Delicious desserts. The value for money is unbelievable. Congratulations, truly. 24/09/2025: A great place for those "holiday dinners" when you don't feel like a restaurant or even a regular sandwich. The café, in addition to excellent gelato and coffee, offers delicious hot and cold dishes and delicious salads. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended!

11/09/2025: Excellent beer bar in the center of Gubbio. The charcuterie board is superb, all sourced from a local farm. The pizza was excellent; it may have been cooked for 20-30 seconds, but the quality of the ingredients is always top-notch. There's also a good selection of beers, all written on the blackboard in true English pub style.

07/09/2025: Fra Luppolo is a cozy and relaxed pub with very friendly and helpful staff. The food is excellent (try the breaded chicken and Ascoli olives, which are shipped directly from Ascoli Piceno). Not to mention the tongue sandwich! And what more can I say? You better try it. All washed down with excellent beers!
