06/04/2025: While passing through we stopped at this trattoria where we ate the crescia with cheese and sausage, with sublime steak and cheese and a merlot red wine that went very well with the mixed cold cuts and cheeses. Family run, the owners and the waiter make you feel "at home" Congratulations, we'll see you again very soon!!!

Excellent food, we ate Friccò, a typical dish from Gubbio, based on chicken... wonderful! Absolute goodness 😍 Also tasted cantucci in a variant other than the classic, excellent! Exceptional price, main course with side dish, wine, dessert, water and coffee for around €23/head! Congratulations Osteria del Bottaccione, I can't wait to visit you again

23/02/2025: Abbiamo pranzato al " Bottaccione " domenica 23 febbraio ,il locale era pieno ma ci hanno immediatamente trovato una sistemazione. Il servizio è stato eccellente malgrado la molta clientela presente, e rapido .Ho ritrovato sapori ed atmosfere che pensavo di aver, ormai, dimenticato. Ottimi gli antipasti, il vino generoso e non " traditore ", sia i primi - tagliatelle fatte in casa al sugo di cinghiale - che i secondi - il " friccò " eugubino - ci hanno pienamente soddisfatti. Al momento del conto nessuna sorpresa, perfettamente in linea con la maggioranza delle trattorie e ristoranti frequentati nel corso degli anni. Il personale mai invadente, il bagno molto pulito, l' ambiente genuinamente rustico. Merita davvero la sosta.

27/12/2024: As soon as we enter, a battered and not very courteous waiter approaches and makes us sit at the table as if he were doing us a favor. Not happy with the impression he made, while he was taking command he delighted (poor guy) with rude and certainly not appreciated jokes. I have visited all the restaurants in Gubbio and I am strongly convinced that this is the worst place (if you can call it that) I have ever ended up in. Not to mention the high prices, trust me if you have to eat a sandwich or anything else go anywhere except here. Unless you don't like the degradation of this truly squalid service.

20/04/2025: Abbiamo preso il menù del giorno molto buono prezzo giusto ,un po’ da migliorare le toilette un po’ strette e forse anche un po’ disagiate per un disabile.

Ho preso un tagliere di salumi tipici della zona ed un primo di pappardelle al sugo di cinghiale, tutto molto buono accompagnati da un calice di sangiovese umbro. 02/03/2025: Un restaurante fantastico. Da gusto llegar a un sitio donde te reviben con alegria y amabilidad. Nos dejamos guiar por Giuseppe y acertamos. Su revuelto con trufa y los espaguetis con fungui porcini magnificos. El remate con Panetone con grapa genial. Todo ello con entremeses y degustación de sus carnes en salsa. Un sitio para volver si no fuera porque estábamos de paso.
