A service hiccup didn't detract from the success of the dinner, as they handled it and made up for it admirably. They were professional, friendly, and oozed passion. The pork belly in beer was excellent! As were the beers. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We'll definitely return.

Booked two nights with Smartbox
22/09/2025: Farmhouse located about 30 minutes from Gubbio. The owner family is very welcoming and helpful. The farmhouse is surrounded by nature, and the atmosphere is very peaceful and tranquil.
Clean and spacious rooms.
Highly recommended for a relaxing stay and a chance to explore the beautiful surroundings.

10/09/2025: Beautiful place with friendly reception and provides amazing massages. The pool is a bonus for sunny days. Food is OK, rooms attractive but very hot, with thin walls to hear others talking in adjacent rooms, and the bed wakes you every time a bare movement is made due to loud creaking.
Would I return? No, as the massages and pool alone isn't a big enough selling factor.

06/04/2025: Non è la prima volta che veniamo in questo ristorante di sushi, e ogni volta è una conferma! Il locale è accogliente, il personale sempre gentile e disponibile, e la qualità del cibo è davvero ottima.
Un posto dove torniamo sempre volentieri e che consigliamo a tutti gli amanti della cucina giapponese!

10/10/2025: In my opinion, it's the best ice cream shop in Gubbio and the surrounding area. They change the ingredients in their ice cream and yogurt every year. Prices are very good, and the quality/price ratio is top-notch!

08/12/2025: The entire place was booked but was actually free, in a city stuck in traffic where families with children come and ask for a quick pizza, and you abstain, ordering takeout as if you were doing them a favor?
In the meantime, we ordered and ate outside. The place was still empty, and by empty, I mean empty, with at least 50 seats.
You would have made money from us and also from those who had booked, who I think arrived after 9 PM (it wasn't even 8 PM).
Frozen supermarket-style pizza and rude staff.

28/09/2025: We stayed at this farmhouse nestled in the woods for just one night. We had a wonderful time. The room was welcoming, well-kept and very clean. The view was stunning. The owner was very kind. The breakfast was special, with homemade cakes, honey, and jams. It was an experience to be repeated.

13/12/2025: Beautiful farmhouse in the countryside, with stone walls and a lovely garden that we might have enjoyed more in the summer. The medieval-style rooms, with stone walls and wooden doors, are very beautiful and characteristic. Breakfast was rich with homemade cakes, with a simple but complete selection of everything from eggs to cold cuts and cheeses.
The hotel restaurant serves equally high-quality local dishes. We were satisfied.
26/11/2025: We had a great time: excellent location, nice room, and excellent breakfast. The restaurant is excellent: excellent cuisine with tasty dishes. The reception staff was very friendly. We'll keep it in mind for future stays.

24/09/2025: We had booked a room to sleep in the heart of Gubbio, intrigued by the name "Bed & Beer" and the photos of the beer tap in the room, not knowing that the owner's restaurant was right below!
Needless to say, after touring the town and refreshing ourselves in the apartment we had, we went downstairs to spend a fantastic evening drinking excellent beer and eating pizza.
Definitely worth a visit.
06/09/2025: This place is right in the historic center of Gubbio! Perfect for aperitifs, we ordered a beer from a wide selection of excellent craft beers and a prosecco. They asked us if we wanted something to eat, but despite saying yes, we never got it! It's a shame because the staff is friendly. I'd go back and give it another try.

22/12/2025: Summer camp offers children and teens an experience immersed in nature, with group games, field trips, and plenty of socializing. I also recommend it for school camps.
18/12/2025: My 9-year-old daughter will be spending the summer at L'Aquilone for the third time. If it were up to her, she'd stay the whole summer! And she'll spend the winter waiting for her departure to Gubbio. What can I say: here, children are loved with simplicity, and between nature, the farm, and games in a loving family atmosphere, they experience freedom and joy. And what's more, they eat wonderfully! Thanks to Valeria, Michele, and Gabriele.
