02/12/2025: The castle was the birthplace of Federico da Montefeltro, Duke of Urbino. Its location and architectural design are truly unique, making it well worth a visit for a relaxing stay and full immersion in an authentic Renaissance atmosphere.
The restaurant is top-notch, and the service is excellent.
30/11/2025: An enchanting castle, an experience to repeat. We had a small problem with the room, but we immediately called reception and it was resolved, even more positively than we expected. The view was breathtaking, the panorama fantastic. A peaceful setting, two nights away from the city, immersed in relaxation. The room was clean and the staff friendly.
We ate in the restaurant two nights, the food was excellent, and above all, the professionalism, friendliness, and kindness of Mr. Paolo in the dining room made all the difference.
Compliments to the location and all the staff.

08/01/2026: A refined restaurant in the heart of the city center, offering traditional Umbrian cuisine with a contemporary twist, style, and sophistication. The ingredients are high-quality, and the cuisine is meticulously presented. The staff are friendly, and the ambiance is elegant and modern (even too modern). It's certainly a great alternative to the traditional restaurants that populate the city center. The wine list is adequate.
01/01/2026: We had lunch on January 1st. The service was perfect and fast, and the guy who served us was very friendly. The owner was very kind. We had tagliolini with truffles. We'll definitely be back again.

A pleasant location surrounded by nature; ideal for a relaxing stay (infinity pool overlooking the Umbrian hills), as a base for visiting the beautiful villages near the abbey, or for group vacations (living room and terrace). Guido, an expert and passionate about the area, is a supporter of charitable projects and initiatives, which he will gladly explain when appropriate, and Stefano, an expert in courtesy and attentiveness, always with the right amount of discretion, will be happy to assist.
An excellent solution!

13/01/2026: We were in Gubbio for the traditional Epiphany procession (which was canceled due to bad weather). We stopped for lunch with a couple of friends with two children. The place was welcoming and well-kept. We ordered the daily menu... Delicious! The owner was very welcoming, professional, and above all kind! We'll be back!

28/09/2025: We stayed at this farmhouse nestled in the woods for just one night. We had a wonderful time. The room was welcoming, well-kept and very clean. The view was stunning. The owner was very kind. The breakfast was special, with homemade cakes, honey, and jams. It was an experience to be repeated.

11/10/2025: An intimate, private, and welcoming restaurant in the center of Gubbio! Extremely friendly staff, a friendly and approachable owner. Delicious, carefully prepared dishes. If you're in the city center, don't miss it—highly recommended!

The food was good, but nothing special, especially considering the prices. I expected something better.
The garden where we had lunch was also very beautiful, but it's a shame the place is poorly maintained and reminiscent of a village festival.

Pizzeria Il Postino

17/01/2026: My husband and I visited this place because of the name; we're fans of Troisi and his latest masterpiece, Il Postino. It's a small place—I recommend booking—but it's cozy and decorated with themed photos and phrases on the walls. We shared a Neapolitan fritto misto, delicious and plentiful, and a pizza each. I found it to be one of the best Neapolitan pizzas I've had in Umbria. Not rubbery at all, very easy to digest, and with an exceptional tomato sauce. Unfortunately, we were so full we couldn't try dessert. But we'll definitely be back. The staff is quick and friendly. Close to Gubbio's historic center, but with easy parking. The price is more than fair. RECOMMENDED!
28/12/2025: I had reserved a table for the evening, but when we arrived, the reservation wasn't listed. They eventually seated us anyway.
The pizza arrived wrong, and they had to remake it. Many of the ingredients listed on the menu weren't actually available.
The pizza wasn't at all like a Neapolitan pizza, but it was toasty.

24/04/2025: Ogni volta che vengo è sempre una certezza, ottimo cibo , personale gentilissimo, locale tipico Eugubino con cucina casalinga e di qualità, tutto fatto a mano, con ricette della tradizione, consiglio vivamente!!!!
02/01/2025: Bel locale, tranquillo. Estrema cordialità del cameriere e ottimo servizio. Ho preso una buona pasta e fagioli e una grigliata mista. Molto buono anche il friccó di pollo. Pane e olio squisiti. Rapporto qualità/prezzo top!

19/11/2025: I went to get my takeout order,
then I went home and the order was completely wrong. I initially asked if the mixed fried food included fries, and the lady told me no, making me buy another portion. I said, "Okay, if it's not on the order, make me another portion with fries and cheddar because I don't eat pork..." and she added both cheddar and bacon, so I had to throw it all away.
07/10/2025: It's my favorite pub every time I travel to Gubbio for work.
In addition to the excellent craft beers, there's also the professionalism and friendliness of Luca, Elisa, and Marco.
A place to enjoy yourself with friends...
