23/09/2025: A cozy, modern restaurant with delicious dishes and wines (including, of course, Montefalco Sagrantino); all at reasonable prices. Excellent, friendly service. The restaurant belongs to the hotel, which is situated in a beautiful garden with a small river flowing through it. Local jams, wine, and olive oil are also available for sale.

19/03/2026: The food was good, the space was small and we had to share it with a rude gentleman.

14/03/2026: A typical Umbrian restaurant located in the center of Foligno. We had a delicious meal, and the wild boar pappardelle was spectacular. Reservations are recommended to secure a table, as the restaurant is quite small and seats are limited.

22/04/2026: One star for the lady in charge. I don't know if she's the owner or not, I just know it was my first time at this restaurant. I ordered a portion of sausages plus cooked herbs. I must say, the restaurant wasn't busy. I waited 45 minutes for three tiny sausages, even pushing the waitress who took my order. She replied that the wait was due to the fact that there wasn't room on the grill for the other tables' orders. So, finally, my sausages arrived, burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. I didn't even try to eat them. I got up and paid the bill, saying it wasn't right, but I paid anyway, explaining the situation to the poor lady. She felt offended, and suggested I regrill the sausages, as if the wait wasn't enough, to further char the poor sausages. I'd like to remind the lady that pork shouldn't be eaten raw. The customer is right. Instead of apologizing for what happened and worrying that I didn't eat, the lady took offense and stamped the bill in full, which I paid. If I had been warned that there would be a long wait, I would have ordered something else. At least I was eating. Being a restaurateur is an art and a gift. A smile melts even the coldest of days, but this place lacks it. Dear lady, my neighbor Aziz cooks the sausages much better and not open, just like you serve them! P.S. Aziz doesn't eat pork. Terrible experience. I don't recommend it!

14/03/2026: A themed restaurant, but only in its furnishings and accessories. Excellent menu, offering a variety of first courses, pizza, and top-quality meats, as are the wines. Ditto for the desserts. Reservations are MANDATORY...and well worth it. Average to high prices (if you order a specialty meat, the price goes up 😉).

08/03/2026: What can I say... We were there today with friends. The place is extraordinary, full of imagination and stories to tell. We had a great time. Excellent food, impeccable service, and competent wait staff. We'll be back.

10/01/2026: A family-run restaurant, like the cuisine, but of a high standard. The quality of the ingredients is exceptional. The clam pasta dish was among the best I've ever had in a restaurant. For a landlocked region, it was definitely the best seafood restaurant I've ever tried.

02/05/2026: Two stars only for the heavenly aroma coming out of the lab, but my history with Merendoni seems like a joke. I'm from another city, and every time I come I try to come to you for the pastries and the acclaimed pizza sfoglia (which they say you claim to have invented). I've never found anything. At 11:30 the pastries are always sold out and the pizza sfoglia is never available. This time, however, the girls, very kind, told me "the pizza sfoglia will be out in half an hour." Perfect, I came back half an hour later to find that the pan was already empty. Maybe, if you claim to be the "fathers" of pizza sfoglia and know it's in demand, you could make more than one pan, right? And at 12:00, too. I envy the locals, who, from what I read in the reviews, always get the timing right 😂 if the miracle of being able to taste something happens, I'll update the review. Cheers!
