If you're looking for substance without too many frills, Trattoria dei Cuccignai is an excellent choice. I went there yesterday for lunch and had a very positive experience, especially for those looking for a quality-price ratio that's hard to find nowadays. ​The highlight is the €9.50 fixed menu. A very fair price that allows you to eat well without emptying your wallet. ​The menu covers the main courses (first course, second course, and side dish), but drinks are not included. Even adding water or coffee, the final bill remains extremely competitive. ​The dishes are carefully prepared, with appropriate portions and flavors that remind you of home. The service was prompt, ideal for those who have limited time before returning to work, but without making you feel "rushed."

We stopped at this trattoria for the first time over Easter 2025 and had a wonderful meal at a fair price. We returned once more during the year and again for Easter lunch 2026. The scrambled eggs with truffle were simply sublime, and the tagliatelle with truffle were delicious. It was a shame we didn't have room for a second course, but we made up for it with an excellent homemade tiramisu. A selection of quality Umbrian wines. We ate wonderfully and will definitely be back.

I dined at this trattoria with my son and enjoyed the food (excellent) and the kindness of all the staff. The atmosphere was cheerful and family-friendly. I hope to return to Foligno and eat at this trattoria again. I highly recommend it.

A true family-run trattoria in the historic center of Foligno. No frills, but plenty of substance. Prices that defy the prevailing madness and quality you wouldn't expect. Antonella, the owner, is a friendly and kind person, as are the rest of the staff. If you're looking for flash and showmanship, don't come to this trattoria, because you'll be disappointed. If, however, you want to enjoy traditional Umbrian dishes without breaking the bank, then you have to stop by.
