18/07/2026: A delightful surprise born from the idea of cooling off from the scorching heat gripping us on the plains... and then we found such professionalism and super-delicious, truly zero-mile dishes.
An osteria whose walls hold thousands of words from past patrons and beautiful photos.
Absolutely worth a try. A well-deserved five stars.
13/07/2026: This was my first time at this place, and it's been able to satisfy such diverse palates as mine and my boyfriend's. As a vegetarian, I often struggle to find products that suit me, but at Fontanile I had no problem at all. Excellent food, carefully selected and delicious. Friendly and very helpful staff. An experience worth repeating. The atmosphere is informal and cozy.

04/07/2026: Wonderful raw seafood, unique tartare trio pairings! Delicious risotto, and lobster paccheri that will make you cry with the intensity of their flavor! Wonderful hospitality, friendly, kind, and smiling people who give you space to enjoy the meal and the company. We've been back several times, tried practically the entire menu, and it's always incredibly delicious. Bravo!

25/06/2026: A few words for a historic place, but one that, thanks to Pietro and Laura, is looking ahead. Comfort, smiles, complete satisfaction in terms of choice and service, ceres for €3 and more. Caffe del Fiume, only satisfied.

Simple but welcoming place.
Friendly staff, fast service.
Respectable traditional products, especially their lentils, but also their carpaccios enhanced with the delicious local olive oil.
The red potato chips are a must.
Reasonable prices.
Accessible and ample parking right in front of the restaurant.
10/08/2026: I went there with my girlfriend on the way back from the Montelago festival. The atmosphere is welcoming, with a charcuterie and cheese counter open to the public like a grocery store, but with both indoor and outdoor seating. Despite the large crowd, the staff was friendly, especially Cristian, the waiter who was tending all the tables, and who, despite the rush, managed to find time to chat and offer advice on the food.
The ciauscolo, the cave-aged cheese, and the mezze maniche with mutton sauce were delicious.
The portions are excellent and the prices are fair (pictured is the "mezzo tagliere").

07/06/2026: A very pleasant evening: a table of six served quickly (perhaps because we had a late reservation). All the sandwiches were good and generously portioned. The fried foods were also good. Nice, varied and tasty menu. Fairly priced. We'll be back :)
20/05/2026: Interesting place with a very extensive menu. Pizza is also available. I personally tried their meat and it was very good, especially the pork pluma, well-cooked and flavorful. Generous portions. Prices are reasonable (about €17 per person). Personally, I think the menu is too extensive and risks being overwhelming. The atmosphere is clean, but the tables are a bit crowded. Reservations are recommended.

12/07/2026: I ordered a cake yesterday morning for today, for a 50th birthday.
The cake is UNPRESENTABLE... I thought I'd make a good impression, but instead...
You can clearly see it was made at the last minute because it was too fresh and melted.
Obviously, look at the number 5 backwards, for 90 euros...
At least we're counting on the deliciousness we'll be tasting this evening...
