11/02/2026: We went for dinner to try the paella. It's a nice, quiet place, and the lady serving was friendly enough, but nothing more. The atmosphere isn't Spanish at all, aside from a few decorations hanging on the walls, but the paella was good. Nothing like the original Spanish paella, an "Italian" paella (more like a risotto), but not bad. The prices were fair, we had a good time, and we'll definitely be back for the risotto ;-)

16/02/2026: We went yesterday (Sunday) for lunch. There were five of us, including my 6-year-old daughter, and it was a pleasant surprise. 80s-style restaurant, friendly staff (I think it's family-run). From appetizer to dessert, everything was excellent 💯, generous portions, fair prices. (The starter with giblets and snails, and the roast lamb were the best.) One thing...the waitress took our orders without even writing them down; that's not for everyone.

20/11/2025: Updating review: After writing my first review of the restaurant, reading their response, and returning for another visit, I decided to post an updated opinion. As mentioned before, a pre-fixed menu had been arranged for our group, although most of us did not know in advance what we were going to eat. First course: Pasta alla Norma. The dish had a good flavor, but in my opinion the absence of ricotta salata—which is a key ingredient in the traditional recipe—was surprising and affected the overall experience. Second course: Grilled meat with vegetables. It was fine, but not particularly memorable, and it isn’t a dish I would return specifically to eat. Dessert: Tiramisu. Since I don’t like tiramisu, I asked if it was possible to have the alternative dessert that had been served to some of my colleagues. I asked precisely because, in their response to my previous review, the restaurant had said that any problem should be communicated so they could look for a solution. For that reason, I was surprised when I was told that another option wasn’t possible, yet afterward the alternative dessert was placed in the middle of the table for everyone to try. In the end, I only ate a very small piece and basically didn’t have dessert. Regarding the atmosphere: We were a large group and the space is quite small, so there wasn’t enough room to be comfortable. Every time someone needed to get up, several people had to stand or move their chairs. Additionally, the service between courses was rather slow. About the flavor of the dishes: While nothing was technically wrong with the food, several dishes lacked the depth or seasoning I personally expected. Flavor is subjective, but this is my honest impression after two visits. This updated review reflects my overall experience after giving the restaurant a second chance. First review:We were a group of 17 with a pre fixed menu. Not tasty at all!

01/03/2026: We found it by chance and called without knowing. We introduced ourselves and discovered it was a takeaway with an adjoining dining room where they allowed food and drinks. I'd say it was a pleasant surprise. The pizzas were good, the service was good, and the mixed fried foods were also good, although, in our opinion, they'd slightly overcharged us, since we'd first complimented them and then asked for more, so they obviously "ripped us off." I should point out that the second order wasn't listed on the menu because we asked for a specific product (chili pepper and ricotta). But it's just a feeling....still good.

13/12/2025: Unfortunately, we all got sick... two separate groups on two different nights left with severe stomach pains. Having said that, although I already consider it serious, I can say that the dishes are talked about way too much, creating a lot of anticipation that isn't found in the actual tasting. There's a lot of effort and it shows, but some important aspects still need to be addressed. There's room for improvement.

From the decor, the service, the atmosphere, the food, and the history of the place… 🤭 If you're in the center of Foligno and want to take a break from Italian food, then Moon Rise is the place to be. The sushi is unique, the fish super fresh, and each piece is presented with the utmost attention to detail. We loved it so much that my family and I went three times! They have new and used CDs for sale, as well as t-shirts, vinyl records, and memorabilia from your favorite bands. I was able to buy albums from my favorite bands that I couldn't afford when I was a teenager. If you love Asian food, a bohemian atmosphere, and music, you'll definitely be delighted here.

10/08/2025: Friendly and knowledgeable bartender, a wide and varied list of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, more than decent sushi, and plenty of treats for film and music lovers. What can I say? Five stars!

06/04/2026: I'll start by saying that the food was good, except for the semifreddo, which arrived frozen. We had to wait an hour and a half for anything to arrive at our table (including bread), but today was Easter Monday, and that was fine until I noticed three tables who had arrived much later than us were eating. We reported the matter, and then an arrogant and presumptuous woman from the kitchen came and said that she was working while we weren't, so we had no right to complain. A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE.

06/04/2026: It was a holiday, so we'd expected a wait, without any presumption of being served quickly, but almost an hour and a half seemed a bit excessive, especially given the small size of the place. But then I noticed that three tables who arrived after us were eating, so I mentioned this to the (then friendly) waiter. The lady in the kitchen addressed us in a rather unusual manner, so it was an absolutely NEGATIVE experience! I know what it's like to work in the restaurant business, especially on chaotic and holiday days, but I think the lack of observation and kindness is completely out of place.

14/04/2026: GREAT burgers and fries! We just love this place. Whenever we are missing US style burgers, we go to W Style and get MUCH better burgers than we can get in the US. All fresh and clean meat, different types of beef (get the Chianina burger) with many optional toppings. And the fries are cooked perfectly!
