12/09/2025: I can't describe the culinary experience I had at this retro gem, the undisputed kingdom of His Majesty the Umbrian truffle! The platter of traditional local cured meats and cheeses was a true triumph of the wisdom of Umbrian master charcuterie makers. The paccheri with eggplant sauce brought back memories of the simple flavors of my mother's cooking (she made them often, and it was always a treat for me to eat them). The guinea fowl breast stuffed with potatoes was warm and fragrant, while the millefeuille with Chantilly cream and berries concluded with a flourish, a blend reminiscent of autumn. And what can I say about the kindness, spontaneity, and warmth of Mrs. Rafaella and her husband? They simply make you feel at home. I will gladly return here as soon as I'm in the area again!

07/03/2026: We stopped for breakfast. The cappuccino was very good, very well made, and the croissants were fresh. They have everything from sweet to savory. I recommend it.

Generous portions and great customer service. The staff is very attentive but not intrusive. We had a wonderful time. We've been there twice already, but we'll definitely be back. 12/11/2025: We stayed at this delightful family run hotel in October. The location is fantastic- easy to access and within walking distance of squares, cathedrals, shops, restaurants and markets. There is a lovely terrace on the top floor that overlooks the valley. Our room’s high ceiling and direct access to the terrace created a light filled and spacious room that was sparkling clean. Breakfast is available and offers something for everyone in a pretty breakfast room. The hotel manager Enrico is as helpful, interesting, knowledgeable, and kind as one could hope for. Thank you Enrico and your family for providing us with a memorable stay in Assisi.

30/11/2025: Located at the foot of Narni...not very difficult to reach. We slept, ate, and even did the tasting... Everything was simply wonderful, a truly lovely facility, a comfortable and cozy room, as well as clean... The restaurant was excellent both for the quality of the food and the service. The tasting was truly perfect...in addition to the excellent wine they produce, Maurizio took us through the entire history of the winery's founding. We highly recommend this experience...and maybe, just in case, we'll even return to do it again.

30/03/2026: A wonderful discovery in a small medieval village. A restaurant located in an ancient Franciscan monastery, a very charming setting. The waitress was friendly and very helpful. The crostini with Colonnata lard were delicious, the first courses were good, in our case pappardelle with white Chianina beef ragù, which perhaps could have had a little more kick, and tagliatelle with ancient sauce (mixed meat ragù), which was really good. The second course, however, was excellent, a very tender stew. The only complaint was that the chairs were slightly uncomfortable. But definitely recommended if you're in the area.
