We celebrated my mom's 60th birthday at Il Convento restaurant and had a wonderful time! The owners were super helpful and kind. They let me go early to decorate the room (it was gorgeous) and even took care of placing flowers for the centerpieces since I didn't have any. The gesture was greatly appreciated and I thank them so much!! We ate from the aperitif that was held outside and then continued with appetizers, first and second courses, and finally dessert and fruit... everything was super good!! The guests were very happy and so were we!! I absolutely recommend it!!

Beautiful setting (large shaded terrace, spacious vaulted interior), pleasant welcome – the waitress used Google Translate directly, which saved me from having to use my limited English. The dish I chose (sliced ​​beef with truffle) was delicious, served with fries and a mixed salad shared between us (the salad was dressed, a rarity in this region!). The wine list offers 37cl bottles: I chose an organic one for €14 – a very reasonable price.

On the day of the ceremony, everything was perfect: aperitifs and appetizers served in the beautifully landscaped garden, a relaxed and bright atmosphere that immediately put everyone at ease. Then we moved to the private room: welcoming, elegant. Perfect for such an important day. The food? Truly excellent. Authentic ingredients, carefully prepared and beautifully presented dishes. You could taste the quality and passion in every course. The service was impeccable: the staff were kind, discreet, always present but without being intrusive. If you're looking for a location for a ceremony, a baptism, or an important event, Il Convento is the right choice. We felt pampered from the first to the last moment. A heartfelt thank you to all the family and staff!

It's meticulously maintained and ideal for events as well as informal lunches or dinners. Highly recommended.

We had lunch together while visiting this beautiful village. The restaurant is located in a former 13th-century Franciscan residence. The atmosphere is elegant and well-maintained, the staff is friendly, and the food is excellent. Outdoor seating is also available. Highly recommended!

A wonderful discovery in a small medieval village. A restaurant located in an ancient Franciscan monastery, a very charming setting. The waitress was friendly and very helpful. The crostini with Colonnata lard were delicious, the first courses were good, in our case pappardelle with white Chianina beef ragù, which perhaps could have had a little more kick, and tagliatelle with ancient sauce (mixed meat ragù), which was really good. The second course, however, was excellent, a very tender stew. The only complaint was that the chairs were slightly uncomfortable. But definitely recommended if you're in the area.
