03/10/2025: Delicious food! Very, very nice service, though they still need some more education, but they're very talented at putting customers at ease. I enjoyed lunch very much. The seats are a bit narrow,but all in all I found it a great experience. And, they realized a special diet lunch for my friend, which is also a big plus. Thanks Jen and your wonderfully kind staff. Keep up the good work!

01/10/2025: With these local ingredients and scenery, it would difficult to create an unpleasant dining experience, and yet this place manages it. There is plenty of choice in Spello, go elsewhere (think the owner has confused us with someone else - we tried to eat)

12/10/2025: This isn't the first time I've attended a party at Frigus bar. A graduation party first, and a fiftieth birthday party later... Always a guaranteed success! There's plenty of space inside and out, even for those with children, and excellent food, from appetizers to first courses, all the way to pizza and vegetables. The entire staff is helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

26/02/2026: Absolute disappointment. Before the renovation, it was fantastic! Endless waits, cold first courses, and uncleaned shrimp with the entire intestines. It was excellent before 2012.

28/10/2025: It's a 15th-century farmhouse with no neighbors. It has very few rooms and a stunning landscape. The chef's cuisine is respectful of the purest Tuscan tradition. The Brunello is excellent. They speak several languages. Not to be missed!!!

25/10/2025: The area is beautiful, with its atmosphere. I would have expected a different, more family-friendly welcome. That said, the restaurant has a well-maintained atmosphere, traditional dishes, and reasonable prices. The room, however, was a bit awkward, with an uncomfortable shower. A few tweaks and improvements could be made. The place is clean and tidy, if a bit dated. The take-out breakfast was appreciated.

19/08/2025: Good selection of sweet and savory items, friendly and fast staff. Various types of very good bread. Enjoyable.

30/10/2025: I'll start by saying that the croissants are unbeatable. It's a shame that the service is often very slow, the courtesy is sometimes lacking, and the prices have gone up in the last two months (a cup of tea is €4, a mini croissant is €1.40, a classic croissant is €2). Generally, breakfast for two people shouldn't cost more than €10.

28/10/2025: Top, truly the best bakery in the area! They have a fantastic selection for breakfast, with croissants and brioches that are truly delicious. The atmosphere is modern yet very welcoming, with both indoor and outdoor seating. They're always open, so next time I'll be back to try their aperitivo.

05/01/2026: A truly beautiful place. The interior, with a glowing fireplace in the center, is a true gem: warm, evocative, and meticulously detailed. The decor is rustic yet extremely welcoming, and the tables are large and well-spaced. Four of us dined here and ate deliciously; an experience that has convinced us to definitely return, perhaps in the summer, because the outdoor view is also truly worth it. One detail I greatly appreciated—and which I think every restaurant should have—is the attention paid to service: sanitary napkins, mini towels with a special basket, perfumes for both men and women, mirrors, brushes, air fresheners, and even a small heater to make the space comfortable. A rare and truly commendable touch. Highly recommended! Price per person: medium-high. Value for money: fair and in line with the setting and experience offered.

17/12/2025: Excellent location and good food, average prices. The fireplace in the center of the room is very charming.

11/03/2026: Unfortunately, we didn't have a positive experience, starting with the restaurant... dirty tablecloths, cobwebs on the walls, and a concrete floor. Besides the cold in the dining room... The food... let's say "passable," but if I go out for dinner and pay... even a little too much... I expect more. Dessert at 7 euros... (not homemade as we were offered) definitely too much to be industrial... Personal opinion... But since I'm in the industry... I can afford to say a few more words.

22/02/2026: Everything was perfect thanks to the impeccable service that complements the dream cuisine. The "ceriole" are incredible. The place is cute and welcoming. I'm Tuscan and I've been there every time I'm in Umbria. I can't wait to go back.

12/10/2025: I had my wedding at La Tenuta del Gallo this past March. The location was lovely and members of my wedding party enjoyed staying in the rooms on the property. The food was also good and I appreciate the thorough organization. Definitely recommend!

09/07/2025: A must-try. This restaurant has been open for about 70 years and has been run by the same family for generations. The hospitality is top-notch, and the food is superbly prepared. When the lady saw we'd really enjoyed the crostini with pâté, she spontaneously brought us another portion. I call this a little treat. I personally had the Italian-style appetizer, made with delicious local ingredients, but the incredibly delicious pappardelle with hare was a cut above, and then the guinea fowl with its cooking juices you could dip your face in. Superb! To top it all off, the homemade desserts were accompanied by coffee and grappa, which she left with the entire bottle. But the incredible thing is the prices. We're talking first courses between €6 and €9 with truly sizable portions, and second courses between €9 and €15—basically, prices stuck in the '80s, with truly high-quality food, believe me. So if you're passing through Narni, pop into Trattoria Tiberina in Taizzano and you won't regret it.

18/09/2025: It's impressive that it was dug 2,300 years ago and that the stones of the upper structure are held together by interlocking joints! A maximum of 10 people can be in the well at a time, so there may be a queue to get down. The 40 steps are wet and there's a risk of splashing water, but it's worth it!
