THE KEBAB IS VERY GOOD:
Exactly! Really tasty, excellent meat, fresh vegetables, delicious sauces!
THE OWNER IS VERY KIND:
very true! The guy is kind, nice, friendly and competent.
COSTS ARE LOW:
I confirm, you leave full, satisfied and you haven't spent too much!
THE PLACE IS SMALL BUT WELCOMING:
yes, it's true, a counter with I think 8 chairs but colorful and cheerful and still comfortable.
I conclude by saying that it is worth trying, in addition to the kebab, many other tasty, good and quality things to eat there or to take away and above all the commitment and skill of those who work with passion.
It's a shame that it's a bit far away but if we pass through those parts again we will definitely return!

28/06/2024: Locale al piano terreno con ampio parcheggio, risulta in piano ed accessibile a chiunque.
Idem per i servizi igienici.
Gli ambienti si sviluppano in un edificio rurale storico che avrebbe necessità di un rinfrescamento generale, con un ampio dehor esterno ( non utilizzato causa pioggia)
Menù ampio con portate ben confezionate e di dimensioni corrette.
Buona scelta di vini serviti a temperatura corretta.
Servizio attento e professionale.
Conto finale più caro della media
Peccato per una tavolata di 4 persone ( sedicenti proprietari o giù di li visto che hanno ordinato cose inesistenti sul menù) che hanno monopolizzato il cameriere con discorsi calcistici, manifestamente ignorando i clienti della sala ed utilizzando sigarette elettroniche al chiuso.
In conclusione un buon ristorante ma in cui non tornerò a causa della maleducazione di questi personaggi.
18/06/2024: First of all the excellent welcome. Well-kept outdoor space in a well-kept and simple garden. The menu is nice, varied and satisfies a lot of tastes. I love mixing vegetables and fruit and I found a tasty mixed salad with apple seasoned with mustard and honey. The paccheri with asparagus and sausage are good. Too bad I'm just passing through, I would happily return.

09/08/2024: A good time in Monteluco.
We left the heat of Spolete to go up to see the sacred wood and made quite a discovery.
A small guesthouse where we ate among the boarders.
Here everything is houses and everything is good!

30/07/2024: It is a very welcoming small place, the way the dishes are presented is very beautiful. The fish is very fresh, it is truly the best sushi I have ever tasted.
27/07/2024: Cibo di qualità e servizio impeccabile. Non vedo l'ora di tornare.....considerando poi che non mi piaceva il sushi 🍣. Assolutamente da provare.

18/06/2024: Had a great stay at Casa Vecchia. Very beautiful place but the people who manage it make it even more beautiful!
Beautiful panorama from the terrace where you can enjoy breakfast and dinner. Beautiful swimming pool and neat, authentically restored apartments; fresh and clean! Stefania, Catia and Roberta pampered us enormously for 14 days. Very nice people, caring and you are welcomed into the family. The food is really great. Freshly baked bread and homemade dolce, jam, pasta, wine and olive oil every day. Eating what you buy, but always fresh from the field and delicious in taste!
Casa Vecchia is recommended for people who love authentic Italy; family, traditions and delicious food. A great base to discover Umbria!
16/06/2024: Anche solo per un weekend bastano per un giudizio eccellente di questo stupendo agriturismo. Ottima la posizione con un panorama tipicamente umbro da ammirare e contemplare nel silenzio pace e serenità di cui si è avvolti e affascinati. Perle preziose sono in particolare le signore Roberta , Stefania e katia che con la loro gentilezza e ospitalità ci coccolano anche con una stupenda e gustosa cucina casalinga . Le camere perfettamente pulite ,profumate e confortevoli. Abbiamo già’ prenotato con data da confermare di un prossimo soggiorno sicuramente in questo stupendo agriturismo.

05/08/2024: One scorching afternoon this August we find ourselves in Panicale, a beautiful village in the province of Perugia. Short refreshment stop in this café in the main square. At this time there is almost no one around. We are offered the best table inside: the last one at the back of the room with a window overlooking the valley and a pleasant refreshing breeze.
The start is already promising.
An excellent text cake with a glass of wine (good wine list). Young and super friendly staff.
At the exit we are ready again to climb to the top of the town.
Good choice

07/08/2024: We spent two nights in this green paradise away from any kind of noise. The stone farmhouse is cared for by the owners in every detail, furnishings and respect for the environment.
The rooms are not the strong point, but everything in the common space is splendid. Large swimming pool, with availability of sunbeds and natural shade from the trees.
But that's not all, breakfast and dinner with typical products, of their own production, told with the passion of those who do this work with their heart.
To be recommended and certainly to return.
P.s. I have celiac disease, they have a lot of respect for intolerances, I had all the complete menus very carefully. Well done!

21/06/2024: Dopo una lunga camminata per visitare le meraviglie di Assisi, c'è una meta dove vale la pena sostare. Nelle vicinanze della Basilica di San Francesco, qualche scalino e vi trovate in un luogo piacevole e tranquillo, dove gustare cibo davvero goloso.
Il gestore del Chiosco Vamos, mi ha preparato una Pitta farcita generosamente con cipolla cotta, scamorza e salsiccia 😋
Qui si che sanno prenderti per la gola...
13/06/2024: Un’esperienza spettacolare e gustosa mangiando la tipica pitta del chiosco Vamos in casa na cornice notturna nella bellezza della location naturale evidenziata dal cielo stellato ed il sorriso della luna. Spero di poter ripetere la risata non solo per gustarmi la pitta ma per godermi anche il fascino del luogo contornato dalla professionalità e cortesia dello staff del chiosco. Vi invito a provare le sensazioni che lo scrivente ha descritto e vi garantisco che tornerete al chiosco Vamos come faccio io. Consigliatissimo. Comodo parcheggio e a pochi minuti dalla cattedrale di San Francesco

09/05/2024: Great little local spot slightly off the main drag (so it's quieter), went for an aperitivo and sat outside in their covered patio area. Really excellent service at very affordable prices, and they understood what I wanted even with my terrible Italian. Definitely recommend.

The red pizza is literally a drug, I haven't had the opportunity to taste the desserts but they seem fresh and of excellent quality.
Prices are not cheap but in line to guarantee freshly baked products with quality raw materials.

16/08/2024: A big disappointment...giving one star would be too much. Dirty place, rude staff... I practically don't know about the food after making us wait in vain to be able to book a piece of stuffed cake to take away, because the restaurant was fully booked, they made us understand that we were a nuisance and not just to us , but also to other unfortunate people who found themselves there by chance together with us. Now I understand why the place looks so desolate and sad. My advice is to stay away from it and be content to just take a walk or bring a picnic food basket.
09/08/2024: Anyone who would like to eat local specialties is in good hands here. Original Umbrian cuisine with a rustic atmosphere and pizza bread from the open charcoal oven - we liked it.

Taste the well-structured gnocchi with ragu with strong flavours, the Strangozzi with spicy sauce, tasty with a true mountain flavour, then the savory and delicious sausages, the porchettata bacon scented with high altitude smells. 25/08/2024: Very clean and fresh environment in the historic center of Cascia, fast and kind service and good food. I ate the best snails in Porchetta I have ever eaten, spicy at the right point. Starter of cold cuts and cheeses, very plentiful, the grilled lamb is also very tender, prices in the range average I personally would go back even just for the snails..

31/07/2024: I got the worst experience. I normally do not leave reviews but this was unacceptable. There was no airco and it took ages to come to get the order. After waiting for another 1.5 hours the food came (I'm just getting started).
When it finally came we got cold fries, a nasty burger, old bread, a warm coke (without typical addition glass) and a meh pizza crust.
They got multiple orders wrong, got told 30min after ordering that half of the order wasn't available and there were rude, lazy and unprofessional waiters.
To conclude.. this restaurant (if you can call it that) looked like they didn't want our money because they never came with the bill. Just as we had that thought they had added some things to the bill (they strategically tried to show us the bill after paying but we insisted on seeing it before).
All with all a horrible experience, do not recommend this place.

26/07/2024: Che dire......una permanenza di 5 giorni in questo bellissimo agriturismo con una vista mozzafiato dove regna la pace. Stefania (meravigliosa) e il suo staff ci hanno coccolato con la loro simpatia e con il buonissimo cibo a km 0 (impossibile scegliere il piatto migliore 🤤). Molto pulito e tenuto bene. Siamo stati talmente bene che, alla fine del soggiorno, le lacrime non sono mancate. Grazie Stefania per la bella esperienza..... Giuseppe, Teresa, Linda e Silvia.
