31/03/2025: Poco fuori città, c'è una suggestiva costruzione in legno. La cucina è tipica umbra. Il servizio è stato cortesissimo: a fonte della mia indecisione tra strangozzi alla carbonara o cacio e pepe, ho ricevuto entrambi in mix. Superlative le bruschette miste, leggere e saporite. Raccomandabile!

17/04/2025: Incredible location, an old convent transformed into a relais with a fantastic view, friendly and kind staff, comfortable rooms, excellent cuisine and a good breakfast, an ideal place to enjoy silence, tranquility and relaxation, close to many villages to visit just a few km away.

15/04/2025: Ideal for getting your fill of relaxation..... we stayed in this enchanting property for 1 night.... A former convent which has been renovated but which allows you to imagine well what it might have been like in the past. A place full of history, told by the very knowledgeable, kind and attentive staff in everything. What about the village where the wellness center is located?!?! WONDERFUL..... We didn't travel much because unfortunately it was bad weather. Stunning view from above....even with the banks of fog. We took advantage of the spa and a couple's massage, the girl who welcomed us was also super kind and very good at the massage. The dinner was good, good, good, here too the waiters were attentive and very courteous. Buffet breakfast with everything.... From sweet to savory. If we happen to pass through those parts we will certainly return to visit you, also because there are many routes to follow on foot. Thank you

05/04/2025: Trattoria still faithful to the "trattoria" traditions Super welcoming and personal environment 🔝🔝🔝 Discovered alas, for a visit to the Branca hospital, I promised myself and promised the owner that I would return soon with a group of friends... impossible not to divulge this place. Excellent food and super plentiful. Highly recommended... go with an empty stomach... 😁

06/04/2025: In this restaurant you can find a small Lucanian enclave in Umbria. The restaurant is located in a commercial area on the outskirts of the city but its elevated position compared to the main transit route allows for good tranquility, it is no coincidence that the restaurant also has a beautiful outdoor space, furthermore there is also a pleasant view of a good part of the historic center. Internally the place is well-kept and very clean in its simplicity. The menu is varied and rich, includes "national" dishes and Lucanian dishes and this allows for a good assortment. The quality is unquestionable and can be felt and savored with every forkful. I recommend attending both for lunch and dinner and for business lunches or dinners where, with enough advance notice, you can also agree on a menu that will certainly leave everyone at the table satisfied.

06/03/2025: Fantastic experience. Service is on point, and food is even better. A very cosy place especially during the colder months. The food is genuinely out of this world good. Be prepared for there not to be a specific menu, and you get served what the chef has, but that's the point of this place. Recommended to book in advance.

11/04/2025: We loved the cave atmosphere and the food so much that we ate here two nights! We especially liked the bruschetta appetizer with lard, honey, and cheese that the server had recommended. The fresh pasta with cinghiale, the ravioli with cinghiale, the suckling roast pork, and the chocolate cake were all great. Prices are very reasonable too.

03/04/2025: Characteristic place, going down the staircase you are surrounded by a "grotesque" atmosphere. The room dug into the tuff offers a rustic and elegant setting, very pleasant. Staff always friendly and helpful. The fettuccine with wild boar sauce is good, the 800g Chianina ribeye is good, well matured, tender and succulent. The potatoes with which I accompanied the ribeye didn't really convince me. I don't like roast potatoes. Apple wedges and well roasted. Having said that, the food is good and the menu is varied. To conclude the meal I chose a delicious apple crumble and vanilla ice cream. Must try.

27/12/2024: As soon as we enter, a battered and not very courteous waiter approaches and makes us sit at the table as if he were doing us a favor. Not happy with the impression he made, while he was taking command he delighted (poor guy) with rude and certainly not appreciated jokes. I have visited all the restaurants in Gubbio and I am strongly convinced that this is the worst place (if you can call it that) I have ever ended up in. Not to mention the high prices, trust me if you have to eat a sandwich or anything else go anywhere except here. Unless you don't like the degradation of this truly squalid service.

14/01/2025: An enchanting place, then there is padel and gym at all hours, you eat really well, the spa is a delight, we have been returning for 2 years both in spring and at New Year, we will continue to return

Ok...the wrong place if you want to avoid sweet surprises...visited Mardi Gras and I truly ate the best strufoli I've tasted so far, soft and wonderful soaked in alchermes (a typical sweet and aromatic bright red liqueur), frappe, also called "chiacchiere", thin and crumbly and finally the castagnole or "brighelle" with chantilly cream, which are madness!!!!, the price is average but the quality is superior to everything. The sales assistants are very nice. My sweet palate thanks you. Thanks and good work.
