30/01/2026: Honest mistake? I honestly doubt it. I was exhausted and my child was very agitated. I didn’t double-check the total or ask the older lady whether the calculation was correct, because I assumed that, having worked there for so long, she knew what she was doing, and I didn’t want to offend her by questioning something she does every day. In my mind, the total was around €50 for this type of purchase. I had also shared that I was travelling back home the next morning. As the shop was about to close, there was no possibility to come back once I realised that I had been charged around ***€30***+ more than the value of the items I purchased. I’ll leave it here. If you wish to apologise for this honest mistake and refund the overcharged amount, I would of course be happy to receive my money back.

28/05/2026: We were incredibly surprised. We sat outside in the beer garden. The meat was freshly prepared on a grill. Everything tasted delicious. We went there two evenings in a row. Very friendly and quick service. Highly recommended.

19/05/2026: A really great place – everything is honest and authentic, super fast service, and delicious. It's inexpensive and very simple, not a fancy gourmet place, but a place where tradespeople, winegrowers, and motorcyclists feel at home – my wife (a vegetarian) and I really enjoyed it too – both inside and (even better) in the beer garden.

07/12/2025: Oberon is cheap and cheerful serving excellent food that would cost two or three times more a couple of doors down. It is basic, relaxed, with very pleasant staff.

06/12/2025: A small restaurant that vaguely recalls the taverns of the past, spartan in its furnishings but with a kitchen behind the scenes that you would not expect, everything delicious, fast and efficient service and a friendly and helpful owner.

It was a wonderful lunch for me. They are very kind and helpful, and if I could, I would have lunch and dinner there very often.

14/05/2026: We were only there for dinner, unfortunately it was raining and we couldn't admire the view. The waiter was friendly and the food was good.

23/04/2026: We had a reservation, yet they still seated us at a table in the basement hallway. The service was inattentive. Our main course arrived while we were still eating the appetizers. The canned Coca-Cola was disappointing for a restaurant I had high expectations for. I ordered a buffalo pizza, but a margherita arrived instead. It tasted okay, but I expected much more.

15/04/2026: A spontaneous lunch at Römerkeller. The service is polite and friendly, the food simple and delicious.

10/12/2025: Perfect for anyone who wants to unwind after a day at work. The bar is informal, has excellent food at reasonable prices, great music, excellent everything, and above all, it stays open late. It's so impossible to find a place open in the evening in Bolzano. I finish work at 10:00 PM and half the city is already dead. This bar is truly a blessing.

06/01/2026: An excellent experience at Zur Kaiserkron. The elegant and refined restaurant boasts professional staff who are attentive without ever being intrusive. The cuisine is top-quality, with sophisticated dishes and pairings that offer a true sensory journey, always in keeping with the seasonality of the menu. The quality-price ratio is amazing for what's on offer. Kudos to the entire staff; highly recommended.

29/10/2025: ATTENTION NEW MANAGER! This review was for the previous pizzeria. I need to try it before judging. What can I say? It's definitely one of the best pizzerias serving Northern Italian-style thin-crust pizzas. Not a good choice if you're looking for Neapolitan pizza, as the dough is very thin. But if you like this type of pizza, you're in the right place. The dough is easy to digest and the ingredients are high-quality. The place is very small, so we don't always order take-out. Delivery is almost always fast, though. 8/10

15/09/2025: The setting is not ideal (busy main street), but very good for eating a good pizza fairly quickly in Bolzano.

12/04/2026: This is where you can get the best cappuccino in Bolzano. My go-to spot after arriving in Bolzano and before leaving. They also offer breakfast. And there's a bar. Pleasant Italian atmosphere and very friendly service.

22/02/2026: We visited this cafe twice in two days during a recent stay in Bolzano. Everything is excellent, lovely friendly and helpful staff, lovely food and the atmosphere is so relaxed, it was wonderful. We highly recommend it!
