Everything in Gasthof Kohlern invites you to slowly appreciate the beauty of life: the natural environment, with an amazing view of the surrounding mountains; the cuisine, with delicious and refined dishes, the wines, the breakfasts; the simple elegance of the rooms; the peace and quiet; and last but not least, the generous and considerate kindness of the staff. Viele Dank: you make this place a perfect combination of charming and soothing.

The only improvement could be the waiters: some bring the dishes and don't know what they're serving, others ask for the dish number and can't answer. It's a real mess when there's a table for 15 people! The place requires orders with dish numbers. Great, put the number on the plate, problem solved!

27/10/2025: Great food, local and fresh. Good traditional and vegetarian options and staff is happy to make edits. A modern approach to alpine snacks and healthy food. We had breakfast with great coffees, matcha and juices and really enjoyed it.

25/10/2025: The hotel is beautiful and clean, and the receptionist was very kind and professional. The room was also nice and clean; however, it was prepared for one person instead of two. There was only one pillow and a single small blanket, which was not enough for two guests. When I tried to contact room service around 6:00 PM, no one answered, and unfortunately, the reception did not respond either.
The other disappointing point was the location of my room (No. 302), which was right next to the elevator. The sound of the elevator motor was very noisy and continued until almost midnight.
11/10/2025: Possibly the most amazing meal I have ever enjoyed. Highly recommended.
