23/05/2025: We have already been customers of the restaurant in Bressanone so we knew what to expect... it was still a pleasant surprise for the friendly, kind and helpful staff, the service, the quality of the food and the ease of parking. We arrived with the intention of a super meat meal, even though we are heavyweights, we were unable to finish what they brought us, thanks to the endless side dishes that are served. The meat is really excellent, cooked perfectly. Another point in favor of the place is that in addition to the churrascaria there is also a pizzeria in case of quick meals or if someone does not want an excessive load of proteins ... It is worth stopping if you pass by those parts.

05/05/2025: We came here for a stopover - it's nice to sit outside and we were served quickly. Pizza is only available until around 2 p.m. There are even a few vegan options.

03/08/2025: A refuge in Flading where you can enjoy exceptional, hearty dishes at average prices for the area. The strudel is by far the best in the area.

23/07/2025: Far and away the only restaurant where you can eat. The restaurant was completely full, both the outdoor garden and inside. There was one waitress for the whole restaurant, really one man behind the bar, so you can imagine what it was like. We didn't get the menu, we had to take it, we ordered drinks at the bar, then the waitress arrived, we ordered a schnitzel for which we waited for about 40 minutes. Fortunately it was good. Prices high.

11/09/2025: The rooms are rustic but clean. For wet motorcyclists, they're happy to dry clothes in the dryer. The staff is very good and friendly. I was particularly impressed by Alex, a funny Bavarian with his friendly, open manner. The pizza and breakfast are delicious.

10/09/2025: A lovely stopover near Bolzano. The room was a bit dated but clean. On-site restaurant and good breakfast.

06/09/2025: A very kind sales assistant recommended it to us, and I have to say that while it may not look like much from the outside, inside it's a typical South Tyrolean restaurant with a traditional stube and all the rest. We ordered two items off the menu; the final price was a bit high, but the food justified it. The staff were very direct but helpful, and if you can get a smile out of them, they're also friendly. RESERVATIONS are highly recommended, almost mandatory.

01/09/2025: We stopped by on a day in August when it had just started raining. The sandwiches were very good, although it took a bit of a wait, but as mentioned, it was raining and people were coming in, so that's understandable. The meatballs were also good. The place was very nice, and the staff were helpful and friendly.

21/08/2025: I returned after nine years, and I must say it left a bitter taste in my mouth. They renovated the restaurant, and in my opinion, it's lost that sense of warmth that these mountain places usually convey. The cuisine has also changed, with a modern twist. For example, orecchiette with clams and mushrooms. In short, it's Milanese cuisine, not Canazei, and in winter, I hope the portions are for energy recovery, not for tasting. The staff is friendly, a little inexperienced. They definitely don't have the attention you expect from a 4-star superior hotel. The room was clean—I stayed in a junior deluxe—and spacious, with a huge bathroom with a window. I would only recommend a few more hangers for bathrobes and for the winter, and a few more hooks for hanging clothes. Oh, and I forgot, the closet is really small. I didn't have a bad experience; I want to encourage them to improve a little on the attention to detail, which, I repeat, 4-star hotels deserve. The spa in the basement is truly superb, and the pool is almost Olympic-sized. The location is excellent! 10 meters from the Belvedere ski lift and 50 meters from the town center.

17/08/2025: The Pareda Hotel is located right next to the Belvedere cable car (therefore right in the center and in an excellent location, especially for skiing). It's a clean and comfortable hotel, with a more than decent wellness area. I stayed in a spacious Deluxe Traditional room with two terraces. So far, it was in keeping with the hotel's 4-star rating and would have fully met my expectations. But now comes the weak point...or rather, the embarrassing one. Upon arrival, we were told that the dinner menu is à la carte, so we choose our dishes on the spot. The following are always offered: 1 meat 1 fish 1 vegetarian. The vegetable buffet consists of 5/6 bowls of vegetables (always the same): tomato, lettuce, carrots, corn. There is no cooked vegetables (not even boiled potatoes) except, a couple of evenings, a meager platter of grilled zucchini. The menus are inspired by MasterChef, but they don't quite live up to it. Bread, which is available in baskets for breakfast in the morning, is brought to the table in a meager basket in the evening. It contains: half a rosetta (half!!), two slices of brown bread, and four or five "Bibanesi" (small, rounded breadsticks, for those unfamiliar with them). When I asked for more white bread, I was told they didn't have any. The second time, they brought me two more slices of brown bread. Salt (which is missing from every dish...perhaps they're concerned about the customer's health) has to be requested every time, as it's not on the table. The cuisine is, at the very least, "alternative." Dishes have little or nothing to do with local cuisine, but above all, the emphasis is on presentation (flavor and quantity are secondary). One evening, I asked for two scrambled eggs or some cold cuts instead of the usual offerings. I was told it wasn't possible due to an unspecified kitchen policy (I've never asked for such a simple alternative and been refused, not even... remember, we're talking about a 4-star hotel). The next evening, after yet another presentation of a completely charred dish, I decided to cancel my half-board and not dine at the hotel again. Management, completely inattentive to this problem, which was left to Mrs. Lara (a caring and capable person), let me know they'd give me a credit for the last dinner, which I hadn't eaten, so... thank goodness. I wasn't able to express my complaints to the owners (who were present, but apparently only in case there was praise to be had), but I politely pointed out to Lara that a hotel with such high potential and top-notch services should definitely reconsider this aspect of its catering, which is seriously penalizing it. I should point out that I stayed for 14 days, so I could also see the disappointment of other guests who had come and gone. The dining room staff was courteous and did their best to "patch up" these unpleasant situations.

17/08/2025: Konditorei Alex – good ice cream and friendly service The ice cream was good and the service very friendly. However, I don't necessarily consider it one of the best ice cream parlors I've ever visited. Overall, though, it's a solid stop for ice cream – friendly, uncomplicated, and reasonably priced.

27/08/2025: Generally expensive, especially for drinks and snacks. The goulash was good and the quantity was okay, but it deserves 3-4 stars. The vegetable soup, on the other hand, was a joke: the small bowl was only a third full, barely enough for a ladle, no bread, no decorations, nothing, for €11.80! We almost expected to have to pay extra for the spoon... At our cabin just a few kilometers away, even the starter soups included in the menu are larger... Perhaps not typical here: the portions for most main courses were okay, but how could such a portion of soup even leave the kitchen and be served? Do people in the kitchen not know their own menu and the prices? Service was prompt and the food arrived quickly. Unfortunately, in addition to the soup disappointment, the bill was also a mistake, and of course, to our detriment. Perhaps not intentional, but for us, it was the icing on the cake... :-(

06/08/2025: Great view off an easy walk in Rodengo. Super tranquil scenery. Inside the baita is exquisite, I bet in winter is a gem. We went in August and we enjoyed two decent plates of pasta. Definitely a solid rifugio.
