01/05/2026: The hotel owners were extremely unfriendly. I made a reservation through their website. Several weeks later, when I inquired about room capacity, they cancelled my reservation, claiming a problem with their computer system. If I hadn't asked and we had gone to the hotel in person, they certainly wouldn't have accommodated us. If the problem was theirs, the least they could do was honor the reservation and then fix the system.

01/11/2025: Recently renovated... nice, typical "Japanese" restaurant, but in the past we've had much better food with more choices, good but not excellent quality! Could be improved... ample free parking 🆓

17/10/2025: The sushi quality has declined over the years. I've been there many times, but lately the fish has become so watered down that you can't even tell the difference between them. The service and atmosphere are excellent, but the quality of the fish is very low.

14/02/2026: After a fantastic week in Steinhaus, and especially at the Steinhauswirt Hotel, we're on our way home and have to get used to the fact that we haven't booked a complete pampering package this time. Starting with the balanced breakfast was the perfect foundation for a day of skiing, which begins just a few minutes' walk from the hotel, right next to the gondola. After returning to the slopes, you can relax in the comfortable rooms before the excellent dinner is served. Alternatively, you can also spend some time in the bar. Throughout the entire stay, you can rely on Barbara to ensure that all your needs are met. We felt very comfortable and definitely recommend the Hotel Steinhauswirt.

12/02/2026: We stayed at the Steinhauswirt for seven days. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The hotel offers everything you could need: underground parking and a parking space, quiet, clean rooms that are regularly cleaned, and a sauna. It's less than a three-minute walk to the valley station of the Klausberg Ski World. A ski storage room is available. The half-board option is highly recommended. Each of the four courses is prepared with care and tastes fantastic. Barbara anticipates your every need. The breakfast buffet offers everything you could want, and the coffee from the espresso machine is superb. The value for money is outstanding. Incidentally, buses to Bruneck stop at the hotel, making it easy to explore the surrounding region. We'll be back just for the food.

13/11/2025: A truly special bistro with its own unique charm and very comfortable seating both inside and out. The perfect place to simply enjoy a glass of wine and beautifully presented, high-quality, traditional South Tyrolean cuisine. The service is also very prompt, attentive, and courteous. P.S.: A visit to the small wine shop next door is highly recommended! The wines from each line are all appealing, and there's truly something for every taste and budget. On top of that, the staff provides expert and friendly guidance during the tasting. A big compliment to the entire Tiefenbrunner team!

29/05/2026: A small bakery 🥯 in Arco but packed with delicious products, made with care and passion. The delicious aroma of freshly baked bread and croissants 🥐 will inebriate you even before you step inside 🤩🤗. Inside, you can find various types of bread 🍞, including Apulian bread, rye or spelt, multi-grain, well-crafted bread, and bread made with sourdough starter. The baker will often surprise you with the bread of the day, a truly excellent idea to always guarantee varied and delicious products 😋👍👍 Even the simple focaccia is delicious freshly baked, maintaining its softness after several hours 😋, excellent for filling with the delicious typical local cured meats. Let's move on to the sweet treats, the sweet part... well, what can I say? Here we have croissants 🥐 (fabulous vanilla custard, finger-licking good), truly amazing artisanal apple strudel full of raisins and pine nuts, chocolate muffins, super soft Krapfen, and then we tried the Linzer Torte for the first time 😱😱😱. A typical Austrian product with a super spicy and fragrant hazelnut pastry, with currant jam, something stratospheric and exciting, well done guys 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏😭😋😋😊. You can tell the baker's skill is certainly top-notch because all the products offered every day are truly excellent. The girls at the counter are always kind and friendly, and the service is fast and accurate. A small but important detail: the quality/price ratio is excellent; in fact, I'd honestly say the prices are almost too fair for the quality of the products 👏👏😉. Many, many compliments to the entire staff 👏👏 N.B. To avoid the risk of not finding the product you want, I recommend reserving them in advance because after 10:30-11:00 a.m. many products are often already sold out 😅

05/04/2026: The best bakery in the area. They still bake properly here. The bread and rolls were delicious. In my opinion, the best baker in the area. Many other bakeries only offer industrially produced, pre-made baked goods. I cycled there from Riva in the morning.

05/06/2026: Bakery in Tisens near Lana. Large selection of rolls and bread. Both taste like they used to from our local bakeries, which sadly no longer exist. It was interesting that the rolls and bread were weighed. Friendly staff.

04/06/2026: Delicious baked goods and a beautiful shop. And best of all, the people who work there are lovely. Genuine interaction, real craftsmanship. No machines. They use good flour, which shows their respect for nature and the baker's craft.

19/11/2025: A truly perfect vacation! The team at Hotel Pfeiss is fantastic. The food is absolutely amazing! We've never eaten so well in a hotel before, but at Hotel Pfeiss, dreams come true! The room was incredible; we thoroughly enjoyed the view and the private whirlpool. Simply wonderful. It was absolutely perfect! We would love to come back.

16/11/2025: A feel-good hotel, perfect service, pleasant atmosphere, an incredibly great selection of food, including the option of a special meal (steak night, fish), a beautiful sauna area with a perfect indoor pool and a heated outdoor pool, etc. What more could you want?! We will definitely be back!

27/09/2025: Today marks the end of our third vacation at this fantastic hotel. We're not really repeat visitors, but we wanted to come back. The hotel has been beautifully renovated, and the rooms are very nice. The outdoor area with its heated pool and whirlpool leaves nothing to be desired. The view of the Sciliar is fantastic. The warmth was not lost; we arrived and immediately felt at home. Keep up the good work, dear Ramona, Armin, and the rest of the wonderful team at the Hotel Ortler. We say "goodbye," because never say never 👍🏻🤗 ‐‐------------------------------------------------------- Our second vacation at this hotel, with once again great hospitality, delicious food (the chef cooks himself), and a family atmosphere. The hotel is in a great location for hikes around the Sciliar or even for long motorcycle tours. It wasn't our last time there. Thank you, Trocker family, for a wonderful vacation.

24/12/2025: My family and I recently returned from a four-day ski vacation. The hotel is beautiful and well-maintained, with a new spa area and pool. Excellent service. The food is simple, but average, with some dishes being better, others worse. The location is outside of Moena's city center, but within a 10-minute walk. Excellent value. I'll definitely be back.
