The food is good, and it's not too expensive. I recommend the half-roasted chicken, and for dessert, the fantastic cream and chocolate dumplings.

28/03/2025: Dopo una passeggiata nella cittadina di Fiera di Primiero, abbiamo deciso di fermarci presso questo locale consigliato da amici, scelta ottima. Abbiamo gustato la loro specialità( patata ripiena), degli hamburgher vegetali e con carne fatti con ottimi prodotti di qualità, accompagnati da vino e birre molto buone. Consigliato.

16/03/2025: Visto più volte passando di corsa , finalmente ho avuto il tempo di fermarmi per un pranzo veloce , e gustare la carne proposta . Che dire , se non bravi , perchè il posto è piccolino ma molto curato con arredo vintage , perchè la proposta di carne locale , ma di alta qualità si è sentita , perchè tutti fanno la solita banale cucina tradizionale trentina , e qui invece per me era una novità sia per la proposta sia per la qualità , perchè una novità se non gestita con passione diventa una novità commerciale e finisce li . bravi , giovani , disponibili e gentili .

The pizza was good, as was the tiramisu and panna cotta. I also praise the very good white wine by the glass. The service is not perfect, it could be more attentive and nicer, but it was nothing terrible. The prices are a bit higher.

05/09/2025: The best dinner in the Dolomites. We arrived at 7 p.m. without a reservation. We were served immediately. The waiter was very friendly and helped us choose the menu. They served our orders quickly, and the food was delicious. We ordered South Tyrolean stew (very tasty and tender) and a pizza (with crispy crust and creamy cheese). Finally, we ordered the apple strudel: SPECTACULAR. It's homemade, and you can taste it from the first bite. The location was also beautiful, with wooden moldings on the ceiling. An ideal place to eat if you're visiting Brunico.

29/07/2025: Unfortunately, there's no service. You're not even handed a menu, nor are you asked if you'd like something else to drink after half an hour and a cappuccino. Perhaps as a mountain biker without a nice outfit, you're just not that welcome at this place. What a shame.

Solo perché il primo scelto alla fine era buono (anche se, a dirla tutta, il menù prevedeva poche specialità locali ed elaborazioni discutibili, oppure piatti non tipici, come i miei strozzapreti, che sono trentini...). Su tutto il resto stendiamo un velo pietoso perché è evidente che la gestione del locale è in mano a personale totalmente inadeguato, incapace di gestire i picchi e a rapportarsi con la clientela in modo cortese e professionale. Prima di tutto: il tavolo me lo sono creato da solo, spostando barili e sedie. Dopodiché, anziché ringraziarmi, il caposala ha pensato bene di farmi ordinare e ammonirmi di non scappare senza pagare perché ci sono le telecamere a sorvegliare. Ma io mi chiedo: ma che modi sono? Additarmi come un ladro così, gratuitamente? Vergogna! Quantomeno, avrei gradito un servizio impeccabile, e invece in una giornata da tutto esaurito, il personale era ai minimi storici, un'ora per un primo piatto e, a mia domanda su che fine avesse fatto (stavano mangiando tutti i tavoli che avevano ordinato dopo di me che ero da solo, primi piatti compresi), la prima risposta è stata "no non puoi chiedere", la seconda è stata "se hai ordinato arriva", e solo la terza volta magicamente è comparso il piatto. Ho quindi evitato il dolce e pensavo di bere un caffè al banco. Cosa invece non possibile e quindi l'ho dovuto ordinare. Stessa scena. A quel punto, avendo già pagato con l'ordine, sono entrato io al banco a ritirarlo in autonomia: era sul bancone che aspettava da chissà quanto. Che vergogna. E soprattutto, che imbarazzo: la Badia non ha bisogno di locali del genere, che si fregiano di essere rifugi storici e invece farebbero meglio a cedere il passo ad altri!
