05/10/2025: We first visited "Zum Hirschen" in the spring and were drawn back in the fall. Stunning natural surroundings, the food, we thought, was exceptionally good, beautiful, clean, modern rooms, relaxing in the sauna, and hospitality combined with sustainability...what more could you want? We'd love to come back.

22/06/2025: The service was great, and the 5-course breakfast was a nice surprise. We also liked the wellness area. We were lucky and were able to use two of the four spaces on the day of arrival, which meant we could use the sauna. The older room in the hotel, which we were assigned based on our special offer, was functional. Only the electrical appliances (hairdryer) should be checked for safety. 😅 Otherwise, everything was perfect! The place is quite remote on the mountain. Probably a perfect starting point for hikes. We were mostly in Merano and didn't explore the surrounding area.

10/08/2025: Beautiful hut with a view. After climbing about 500 meters, we found this family-run gem at 2,030 meters. Homemade local specialties and other local specialties are featured on the menu. A mixed snack platter with dressed gray cheese and onions is just one of the many highlights at this alpine pasture with direct views of the Speickboden. A little insider tip 😉

12/10/2025: The hotel is located in the upper Ahrntal Valley in South Tyrol. It's perfectly located. It's superbly equipped, with an indoor pool at 29 degrees Celsius, a whirlpool, and a new outdoor pool at approximately 32 degrees Celsius. Heavenly. Great rooms, super friendly staff, and impeccable cuisine. If you want a good drink, just trust Alessandro and enjoy. The wellness area with its expertly trained masseuse is a must-try or make an appointment.

11/09/2025: A very nice hotel with extremely friendly staff. The food is sensationally good! The hiking bus stops very close by. The only drawback is the very small Finnish sauna.

06/10/2025: Unfortunately, it wasn't perfect. Unkind service, unkind food, and too expensive. It didn't taste good; there were a lot of gristle in the Macceroncini alla Lepra.

06/10/2025: Just drive a short distance from the hustle and bustle of Garda to find this gem. There are parking spaces for campers. There's electricity, clean restrooms, a swimming pool, a sauna, but above all, peace and quiet, and beautiful views. The restaurant serves delicious regional dishes and, of course, pizza straight from the oven. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

07/09/2025: A cool but not pretentious aperitif, a pinch of ignorance to be enjoyed together with one of the best spritzes, strictly with select.

30/08/2025: We went into the bar for something different given the rainy day and were a little tired of the usual polenta and meat with cheese. We ate two AMAZING toasties. From the first bite, I felt like a child again, identical to the toast my mother made. Our son had the egg salad with anchovy sauce, which was really good. We also really appreciated the fact that while we were waiting, they brought us three canapés accompanied by chips as a snack. We were so happy, we went back before heading home, and the grilled chicken with grilled vegetables and potatoes was more than delicious, so much so that we've booked to stay at the hotel next winter. The service was friendly, kind, and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

13/09/2025: Super cute little hut. There are only a few spots inside, but there are additional heated/covered spots in a sort of pavilion, and plenty of spots on the terrace, which has plenty of sunny spots. Highly recommended are the pasta in sage butter with poppy seeds and Parmesan, as well as the dumpling trio.

23/08/2025: A little-publicized hut we found on the way down to Plan after visiting Passo Sella. Simple and tasty food, very friendly staff, fair prices. Everything was delicious, especially the buckwheat cake, which we absolutely loved.

05/10/2025: Good pizza, well-topped, quality ingredients. The wait was a bit long, 45 minutes, but the place was packed.

19/10/2025: So... so much magic? We went for dinner on Saturday, October 4th; they were closing the next day. Everything, or almost everything, was magically transformed: the veal rosticciata with potatoes and turnips became a veal rosticciata (not at all soft) with onions and turnips, the caramel cube with fruit crumble transformed into a chocolate cube with a little topping and a few blueberries... pure magic????? The only truly good thing was the wine. Huge disappointment!

10/09/2025: I would have liked to give it my all. The place is wonderful, with a beautiful view outside, even more so in the rain. The first courses were excellent, the potato tortei were good, but not the best I've ever eaten. The tagliatelle with mushrooms were good, but I personally have a problem with cream in pasta with mushrooms, especially when the mushrooms are of excellent quality like those they offer here. Another sore point is that the quality of the pasta was excellent, but it's not made by them. Their ice cream is superb, as are the homemade liqueurs that you can taste at the end of the meal. I recommend the strangolapreti accompanied by a good Teroldego red. I highly recommend this place, and I'd gladly return. The staff are very welcoming and kind. My compliments for everything.

26/06/2025: The food was all delicious. I was especially impressed by the starters and the pasta fries. And the staff was very friendly. This was the friendliest and most impressive restaurant during my trip to the Italian Dolomites. Highly recommended!!! 💙💙💙 I couldn't choose a wine, so I asked for a recommendation, and they did a tasting for me, and they recommended a Dolomite wine, which was the best choice. Everything from the main menu to the starters and desserts was perfect. It was a really nice meal in a really friendly restaurant.

23/09/2025: Location, I'd add another star! Location with a breathtaking view... I recommend it to all cyclists. The garage is convenient and you can even wash your bike! And what about the barbecue? The Best rib steak in the Fassa Valley!!!

10/09/2025: I'm Taxi Stambek, a taxi service provider in Canazei. I often go to this hotel, located above Canazei in the Pecol area, where I often stop for a coffee and a chat with the staff, who are always attentive to their guests' needs. The owner, Davide, is a very young new manager and is always available and friendly. The culinary options are vast, and the strength of this hotel is the outdoor grill for cooking fantastic Florentine steaks. I highly recommend it for hikers in the summer and for ski enthusiasts in the winter. In fact, it is located opposite the cable car that takes you to Belvedere, the nerve center of skiing and the Sellaronda.

04/10/2025: Dinner with colleagues Interesting and very extensive menu, good flavors and quality, but I didn't really like some dishes... the pasta was a little too al dente. I don't really like the location. I'll go back, though; it's a nice alternative.
