01/10/2025: At the source of the perfect hiking trails is the Oberhauser Refuge, where my wife, I, and Kimba, our Maremma Abruzzese dog, son of a shepherd, stayed for 11 full days, plus arrival and departure. It's an enchanting place, boasting attentive and attentive service from the owners, who were friendly, welcoming, and understanding when we encountered any difficulties in caring for our big dog. The facility has apartments on two floors, and we had a place on the ground floor, where our accommodations had a small garden just beyond the wooden platform that served as a balcony. The garden is private and enclosed by a sturdy fence. This is a real convenience, especially when you're caring for a one-year-old dog who already weighs 40 kg. The apartment was adequate in size and layout. The bathroom was spacious and very usable (I have wonderful memories of the shower, which had a generous flow of clean, mineral-like water). One very important thing is that the rooms were very well soundproofed, and even the rude footfalls of some upstairs residents were so quiet that they didn't disturb us. The cuisine was delicious, carefully prepared, and never boring, and was particularly notable for the lovely Saturday evenings dedicated to barbecues, which included not only the usual quality meats but also fish, including zander (if that's the correct spelling), which I particularly enjoyed. Around the building were beautiful hilly fields where we could take our big dog for mini-excursions before or after dinner or breakfast. It was a first-time vacation with our "big dog," who had scared us a bit, but thanks to the care and dedication of the managers, it has become a wonderful memory and an experience we can't wait to repeat. 13/09/2025: We stayed in September with my family. We loved our room: very beautiful, spacious, and clean; we also appreciated the welcome: friendly, kind, and yet professional. Dinner and breakfast were very good, featuring local dishes and products! Overall, an excellent property. Highly recommended!

02/09/2025: I went for lunch, the food was below average, flies everywhere, and there was a 50kg male Maremmano wandering around the premises and then entering the restaurant (I'm a dog lover). I'm just warning anyone with male dogs who wants to eat there to be careful. I personally won't be going back.

26/10/2025: A truly authentic and beautifully charming little restaurant in Trento 🏔️. The food was elegant and homemade, with every dish full of fresh, creative flavors. The pistachio dessert was beyond delicious!

26/10/2025: Today was our second time eating in Trento. The starter (vitello tonnato) was very good! The primo piatto (tortellini al tartufo) was excellent! The second course (duck) was also excellent! We were thrilled! For dessert, we had tiramisu! The best I've ever eaten! I don't want to hide the fact that they needed at least half a server to make the evening completely perfect! Anyone looking for a good meal in Trento should definitely go to this restaurant! The food is truly excellent! Highly recommended!

18/10/2025: A very, very nice and good hotel! Everything was just perfect here. I had a very nice room with a view of the mountains and Bolzano. The wellness area is also fantastic. The food in the restaurant is high-quality and tasteful. I will definitely return for a private stay sometime. The service is excellent.

13/10/2025: The food was okay but nothing special, far too expensive for the lack of refinement. The service was extremely friendly, and the ambiance was very nice, but all of that still doesn't justify the price. No overnight guests, traveled as a couple.

15/06/2025: Classic mountain refuge at 2120 m. Very nice, all in wood with large windows. Beautiful view from the tables outside. Normal prices. Friendly staff. The road that reaches it from the underlying Nambrone refuge, to be traveled by car, is very narrow. Difficulty parking on arrival, moments of crowds. From the refuge, possibility of various walks.

10/08/2025: Great for après-ski! It's especially nice when evening falls and the crowds die down. The music might be a bit loud, but there are areas where you can't really hear it.

27/07/2025: I've known this refuge for years; we often went there because we had friends staying there while we stayed in a nearby hotel. It was always a pleasure to join them for a chat or a drink with friends. We returned this year with great pleasure: after enjoying some excellent aperitifs, we decided to stay for dinner as well. We went up by snowmobile, a truly fun and evocative experience that made the evening even more special. The food is good, the atmosphere warm and welcoming, and the location... enchanting, to say the least. A refuge that offers true emotions in the middle of the mountains.

27/10/2025: Every visit to the funny crocodile is an experience! The atmosphere alone is special. Peter's service is personal and makes you feel right at home. The menu is small but delicious, and Stefan cooks the best lasagna ever (but he's not the only one ☺️). A must-visit on any holiday in Kaltern!

15/10/2025: During our vacation in South Tyrol, we found this small restaurant on Goldgasse in Kaltern. We were very pleasantly surprised by the food: tortellini filled with porcini mushrooms and truffle foam, and very well-filled herb pasta. We sat across from the restaurant in a small garden with only five tables. It was incredibly cozy and elegantly set, and the weather was perfect on October 15th. A dream, with very friendly service. Thank you, it was a very nice lunch.

12/10/2025: An absolute insider tip! The Furschermühle is beautifully and quietly located, a bit away from the hustle and bustle – perfect for enjoying a special evening. The ambiance of the old mill is simply wonderful: small, cozy, and with only six tables, very intimate and stylish. The changing 5-course menu is consistently Michelin-star quality – creative, perfectly balanced, and prepared with great attention to detail. The wine pairing is a must: excellently selected, served at the perfect temperature, and wonderfully harmonious with each course. The service is extremely professional, attentive, and truly leaves nothing to be desired. A place where you can feel that quality, passion, and hospitality are paramount. We'll definitely be back! 🍷✨

23/09/2025: Wonderful restaurant! This evening we had the pleasant position of sitting right at the bar at one of the small round tables! Such a great service team, led by the friendly older lady manager; everyone was in a great mood and did their job with joy and absolute commitment! I'm in the restaurant industry myself and can speak for myself! A very tough job in a tourist hotspot! And then to experience something like this! 100 out of 100 points!
