26/10/2025: We visited this restaurant with a large group and had ordered the set meals two days in advance. It was all the more disappointing that one of the two menu items was unavailable. During our meal, we also learned that a dessert from the menu was unavailable.
While the food was tasty, the portions were very small and the price of over €30 per menu was by no means justified. The service also left much to be desired – the staff seemed disorganized and unprofessional.
25/10/2025: Great food, delicious drinks, friendly service, and all in a rustic atmosphere at reasonable prices—we're always happy to come back!

27/08/2025: A cheeky, rude waitress tells us that it's not possible to have a glass of wine at one of the high tables in the evening (there are only five tables outside). Apparently, they don't need to make money. We won't be going here again.

12/08/2025: Every time I pass through Sestri Ponente, it's a ritual to stop at Caffetteria Merano, where respect, hospitality, courtesy, and professionalism are complemented by the friendly owners. 28/09/2025: The pizza is highly recommended. The atmosphere is lovely and very well-maintained. Unfortunately, we felt rather intrusive as guests. The service, I think it was the owners, was unfortunately very dismissive and made you feel unwelcome. We certainly won't be coming back.

07/10/2025: I loved this cafe. I got gelato from here. The gelato I got was the flavours apricot and hazelnut, and they were delicious and it is nearby the pizza restaurant we dined in Pizzeria Da Andrea, and it was only 3-4 minutes from the AirBNB we stayed in during our visit to Italy. I highly recommend this place.
