16/10/2025: Masha Allah, the person is friendly, cheerful, Muslim, the food is halal. I ordered 2 chicken kebabs and fries. The food is delicious. He also offered us tea and coffee as a gift.

29/11/2025: The strudel here is incredible. I highly recommend the shortcrust pastry one, especially—it's truly delicious. I don't understand why other people have found the staff rude or unfriendly, as they were otherwise very kind and helpful. If you need to give someone a gift, trust me, you can't go wrong with this strudel.

09/11/2025: The hotel is somewhat secluded, in a quiet area, about 2.5 km from Kaltern. The rustically furnished rooms are very nice. We had a room on the second floor with a view of the vineyards and Lake Kaltern. The terrace offers a lovely view of the vineyards below. We had half-board. The breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of choice. Dinner was a fixed three-course menu. On the first evening, when a large tour group was also present, the food was not satisfactory for us. The pasta as a starter was overcooked, while the ossobuco was undercooked. The other two dinners were of acceptable quality, but there is definitely room for improvement in terms of taste! Service was very good in all areas. Despite all the positive impressions we gained during our three-day stay, I cannot recommend the hotel. We were unpleasantly surprised when we paid the bill. It wasn't really a proper bill, just a receipt. Instead of the usual description of the items consumed, it simply stated "various" and the corresponding price. The drinks menu we were given listed tap water at €1.10, but we were charged €2.50 for three bottles. The half-liter of house wine on tap was listed at €8.10, but we were charged €9.00 for two bottles. Only the bottled wine was charged at the price listed on the menu. Because the receipt only showed the amounts, I didn't notice this until later. It's not about the few euros; it's about the fact that I felt cheated! Therefore, I cannot recommend this hotel.

26/10/2025: We're not usually complicated and can easily accommodate even simpler accommodations if little things aren't perfect. This time, however, we were a bit disappointed with the value for money. The mattresses were extremely hard and very uncomfortable – sleeping for long was almost impossible, as we had to constantly turn over to avoid back pain. The breakfast also didn't impress us: It was poorly presented, the selection was rather limited, and the quality of the food we tried was unfortunately not tasty. Furthermore, we can't understand why cheddar, of all things, is offered in such large quantities. The hot chocolate was undrinkable, the bread was mediocre, and the ham and cheese weren't fresh. So on the second day, we decided to stop at a bakery instead. We were surprised that the alcohol wasn't served with a measuring cup. We almost got three Baileys for the price of one. 😅 Unfortunately, the red wine was kept cold… The rooms themselves are fine. Unfortunately, the toilet seat was broken, and there was some mold in the corner of the wall. It's very noisy, especially in the evenings. However, the view is fantastic, and the location overall is okay. Nevertheless, we wouldn't come back.

04/03/2026: Really great pizzeria, the ravioli was ok. Not a bad walk from the nearby village. We had to book as our group was large but they handled splitting the bill well.

12/02/2026: Unfortunately, I can't give more than two stars. I'm sorry. I struggle with leaving negative reviews. But honestly, there's a level of quality missing here that's taken for granted in any restaurant these days... or even in any bar, trattoria, or inn. I think the owners are trying hard, but perhaps pizza isn't a tradition in their hometown. Nor is Alpine food. I don't know how they manage to keep running costs low with so few people (rightfully so) on a Saturday night. I was misled by many incomprehensible, very positive reviews. What a shame.

02/02/2026: Stayed here in Jan, 26 for our family ski vacation in Dolomites. The hotel was not fully booked and being not too busy was a privilege, all stuff: reception, bar & servers were extremely helpful and attentive, which made our stay pleasant. Our apartment was huge, clean and comfortable, just the pillow were too thin, but I guess that's a preference. Breakfast can be richer in terms of variety and if the pool was warmer during our stay we could have used it. Overall we're happy and thankful to the whole team for their hospitality. Family's tip: the kids club is big enough to entertain 2 small children - our were 1 and 4 at the time of visit and they spend a lot of time there.

21/12/2025: The Bar Ristorante near Ortisei has a delicious pizza, absolutely delicious. The sourdough dough is very digestible. The bresaola, arugula, and parmesan create a fantastic combination. I can't deny it's one of my favorite pizzas, but I know it's a classic and beloved combination. The bresaola adds a touch of flavor, and the arugula adds a touch of freshness... perfect! And the parmesan tops it all off! I highly recommend stopping by for a delicious pizza.

16/12/2025: We’ve eaten here twice while passing through. The pizza is fantastic, and they have two styles of crust — thin and Neapolitan. Very tasty! The service is also top!

14/10/2025: Bed service, breakfast very poor , first day no internet or wi fi , room are clean

12/10/2025: The location is great, close to the beach (I don't know if they have sunbeds on the beach in season, but I highly doubt it's close to the center). Food 0 for three days, every morning one type of salami, one type of cheese, 3 flavors of marmalade, no butter, rolls, coffee, juice, tea). Unlike the hotel where the other group was accommodated, this is a living despair. The rooms are clean, not that spacious, the terraces are terribly small.

11/02/2026: The pizzas we ate were awful. Raw pizzas, three pieces of ham, and low-quality ingredients. It's not the first time friends have taken me to Liesy, but we all felt terrible, so it will be the last time.
