04/09/2025: Very good ham/cheese/tomato/salad sandwich with fresh products, just make sure you pay the indicated price (we were charged 2€ more and needed to claim them back, I'd like to hope it was not on purpose)

28/07/2025: Frozen lasagna for €12... We actually wanted to order food for three people. All three of us chose lasagna. The waitress barely spoke English and apparently didn't understand that we were sharing ONE LASAGNA??!! After 40 minutes, she brought us ONE piece of frozen lasagna divided into three (approx. 2x4cm...). We then wanted to pay for the drinks we'd already had and find another restaurant. The waiter advised us never to come back and asked what he should do with the frozen lasagna that had been warmed up for 40 minutes...😂 We happily comply with the waiter's request not to come back.

20/08/2025: I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this time I felt compelled to. I went to City Bar after seeing it had a good Google rating (though I later noticed that there are almost no recent reviews, so they were probably from years ago). When I entered, I was faced with a tray of four supermarket-looking croissants. Despite my initial impression, I decided to stay and order two pastries and two lattes. Unfortunately, what I was served wasn't up to par at all: the croissants looked genuinely packaged, and the lattes didn't taste like milk, but rather like water with a bit of instant powder. The final bill was a real surprise: €9.20. The receipt listed croissants at €2.60 each and lattes at €2 each. These prices are outrageous for such low-quality products, especially considering that the tables are certainly not in St. Mark's Square, but in front of a bank. I had the distinct impression that the quality and attention vary depending on the customer: they certainly do better with locals, and much less with those they believe will never return. It should also be said that many positive reviews seem to refer to the aperitifs: the place probably holds its own in that context. But as for breakfast, unfortunately, the experience was truly poor. A disappointing experience, one that doesn't at all reflect the expectations created by the online rating. 👉 I hope this review can help others avoid being disappointed like I was.

11/09/2025: Great for barbecues with family and friends. Well-equipped and with plenty of space for sunbathing. You can also fish with equipment provided on site; you pay for the fish you catch. It's best to arrive equipped with hooks, sinkers, etc.; the equipment provided on site is the bare minimum; fishing trips are paid for separately.

23/04/2025: For anyone who heard the banging from the kitchen, it's upstairs, connected by a latch and is managed by two people. There's only one wine and dessert fridge. Who knows where it went?

12/02/2025: For us, a stay in Riva always includes a visit to the pizzeria La Leonessa. The pizzas are very good and offer excellent value for money.

30/08/2025: Pleasant atmosphere, very good food, fabulous desserts, fantastic staff, very patient, polite, and always smiling. We've been coming to the Fassa Valley for five years, and we've been stopping at Baita Ischia for five years, and it's always a pleasure to go! Congratulations!

13/08/2025: Refreshment point next to the Campitello playground/adventure park. The facility is nice, with a spacious outdoor area with tables and umbrellas, and a children's playroom inside. The restrooms are large and clean, including a changing table. Friendly staff. We stopped for a snack, and had an excellent slice of Sacher torte and a strudel, making it worth a return visit!

21/09/2025: We dined at this restaurant two nights during our week-long stay in the beautiful Ortisei and were completely satisfied both evenings with the excellently cooked, top-quality dishes, the perfect wine pairing recommended, the intimate and characteristic setting, and, above all, the exquisite welcome from the very kind owner and all the young and friendly staff...see you on our next stay!

06/07/2025: Malga per eccellenza immersa nelle verdi montagne alpe nemes. I proprietari della malga, nonché dell allevamento di bovini, sciolti al pascolo, sono persone estremamente genuine e tipiche della zona. I loro prodotti fatti con le materie a km 0 rendono ogni pasto un godimento per i palati. Da evidenziare lo strudel di ricotta fresca e la polenta pasticciata. Tappa da rifare

30/06/2025: 3€ per una caraffa d'acqua del rubinetto e 1€ per il "supplemento panna" sullo strudel di mele. Queste sono senza dubbio le voci più eclatanti di un listino prezzi da lasciare esterrefatti. Da annotare anche i 17,40€ per una salsiccia (piccola) con un po' di patate senza salse di contorno. Queste, ça va sans dire, erano a pagamento. Ok, i prezzi sono riportati sul menù, pertanto il cliente è correttamente informato prima di ordinare, ma questo non può essere un alibi per giustificare dei prezzi tanto elevati da risultare quasi ridicoli. Neanche il fatto di essere in alta montagna è una scusa plausibile dato che la malga è facilmente raggiungibile dai proprietari attraverso una comoda strada. La stella aggiuntiva è stata data solo ed esclusivamente per l'impagabile scenario panoramico sulle vette dolomitiche circostanti. Consiglio vivamente di portarvi dei panini e di mangiarli sul prato antistante la malga. - - - 3 € für a Karaffl Leitungswasser und 1 € Aufpreis für a Klacksl Obers aufn Apfelstrudl. Des sein wohl de schillerndsten Positionen auf a Preisliste, wo einem schier der Mund offen bleibt. A no zu erwähnen: 17,40 € für a kloane Wurscht mit a bissl Erdapfl – ganz ohne Söß oder irgendwos doazu. De, ça va sans dire, hätt ma extra bezaulen miassn. Freilich, de Preisn stehn auf der Karte, der Gast isch also offiziell informiert, bevor er bestellt – ober des isch lei a schwache Ausred für so übertriebene und beinah lächerliche Preis. A das Argument, dass die Alm auf über 1.500 Meter liegt, zählt nit wirklich, weil sie für die Wirtsleut locker über a gscheite Forststraße erreichbar isch. Der zusätzliche Stern isch lei und ausnahmslos für’s atemberaubende Panorama auf die Dolomiten vergeben wor’n. I leg eich unbedingt z' mitn Brotzeit ho – und essets sie auf der Wiese vor da Alm.

11/07/2025: A superb hut with charm 😍 We were there on Wednesday for a music brunch - simply fantastic. The staff and host family were very friendly, despite the financial audit (of course, it has to be on a day like this 😡).

04/07/2025: The climb is worth it. A wonderful hike from Tall and back to Verdins, mostly through the forest. It gets quite steep towards the end. The shepherd's macaroni was very good. A large selection of food and drinks.

04/04/2025: Capitati un po' per caso abbiamo apprezzato l’ambiente e soprattutto i deliziosi hamburger, oltre all’ottima birra. Un po' deludenti invece, al di là degli effetti scenografici, i dolci. I prezzi sono altini, ma la qualità li giustifica. Consigliato.

09/02/2025: Locale arredato molto bene e curato nei dettagli, vasta e ottima scelta sul menu’ sia per mangiare che come bevande (ottime le birre artigianali). Il servizio molto attento e cortese. Anche il prezzo e’ giusto e rapportato alla qualita’ unico piccolo dettaglia ma che non inficia la recensione perche il locale non e’ consigliato ma obbligatorio andarci se passate da Riva e’ che avevo prenotato tramite the fork e sull’app avevo letto -20% ma magari mi saro’ sbagliato io.

01/09/2025: A nice bar with a covered terrace and a pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast is good, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The prices are absolutely reasonable. One small drawback: Parking is unfortunately a bit difficult. In summary: Ideal for a relaxed breakfast or coffee – highly recommended!

04/05/2025: Durante la visita del castello di Besano (molto bello) chiediamo al gentile bigliettaio ove poter pranzare. Ci consiglia, fra altri però già al completo per le S. Cresime, anche il ristorante Posta Vecia a Besenello. Chiamiamo e subito mostrano grande disponibilità: si può pranzare fino alle 14.30, affare fatto! È stata poi una vera positiva scoperta con personale molto cortese e professionale, in particolare la dolce signorina Nicole, premurosa ed attenta a ben consigliarci. Cibo ottimo e qualità/prezzo eccellente. Se siete nei dintorni per la visita dei castelli trentini fermatevi, ne vale la pena.

03/05/2025: Il posto è carino, anche se lungo una strada di passaggio. Ci siamo fermati durante un viaggio in moto. Personale molto gentile ed educato. Abbiamo visto due sale. In una mangiavano certamente degli operai (con giubba arancione) e credo a menù fisso. In un altra i turisti o forestieri. Tuttavia il menù “ristorante” offriva una discreta scelta. 3 bigoli porca vacca (con ragù di carne e pomodorini confit), 1 linguine ai gamberi. 3 insalate miste, 1 piatto patate arroste. Da bere: una birra analcolica, un bicchiere di teroldego, un litro di acqua filtrata) e 3 caffè. Totale 100 euro. Un po’ fuori mercato a dire il vero. Ma era tutto buono.

26/05/2025: Iconico il piatto di fettuccine al cervo. Delizioso e abbondante! Difficile trovarne così. Peccano altri piatti, non per il gusto ma per le quantità… peccato

01/05/2025: locale ampio tipico montanaro caldo e accogliente, con buona possibilità di parcheggio, bello il panorama circostante a poca distanza dal centro di S. Martino di Castrozza, la proprietaria Anita ti riceve personalmente come ad essere a casa propria. Cucina locale a base in gran parte di selvaggina e va in base alla stagionalità dei prodotti offerti dalla montagna. Le torte ed i dessert sono fatti dalla proprietaria in persona . Pasta fatta in casa dai tipici canederli alle tagliatelle, vari ragù a base di cinghiale , cervo ed altre selvaggine. Le cameriere servono i clienti con i costumi tradizionali del posto, il servizio è rapido. Vini ovviamente del territorio sia in bottiglia che al calice. Ingredienti tutti freschi e di ottima qualità, prezzi adeguati al servizio e alla qualità offerta.
