21/08/2025: We arrived at 5:30 PM and immediately asked for dinner. Being in South Tyrol, we were accustomed to the fact that kitchens often open at that time. We were told that the kitchen would open at 6:30 PM, so we ordered and consumed while waiting: ice cream, a Spritz, a Coke, and water. After being seated for about 45 minutes, we were informed that the table was no longer available because it had been reserved, and we were asked to vacate it immediately. When a customer is seated and begins to consume, a contractual relationship is established: the manager must guarantee clarity, continuity, and good faith in the service (Articles 1175 and 1375 of the Italian Civil Code; Consumer Code, Legislative Decree 206/2005). In our case, we had not been given any advance notice of an existing reservation, nor were we offered an alternative table. Such behavior could constitute unfair practice: the customer would have the right to dispute the bill or request compensation for the service disruption. To avoid arguments, we simply paid our bill and left, but the experience was disappointing because we expected greater organization and transparency. It's clear that we were simply guests of the restaurant—I never said otherwise—and your waiters seated us at a specific table, not at our discretion. All that was needed was to apologize.

06/09/2025: A wonderful experience at the Seeb Alm with a group of friends. Friendly service and excellent food: I had the dumplings and cabbage salad, which were truly delicious. The only thing that could be improved: they gave you paper towels instead of napkins. Otherwise, highly recommended!

11/08/2025: I ordered a slice of takeout pizza, but I was disappointed. The portion was really small for the price, and the toppings were minimal, almost nonexistent. I expected something more. I don't think I'll be back.

30/08/2025: A banana split is only a banana split if the ice cream flavors are right. Adding some unidentifiable ice cream to the bananas isn't enough. And they don't know how to make a sparkling water with lemon either.

21/05/2025: Place in the center, nothing exceptional as a bar. The waiter who takes the orders is a disaster. We ask if we can sit down and they say yes. After a while other people arrive and are served but we are not taken into consideration even when we make a sign that we are waiting. After the third couple served arrived after us we leave. We probably do not speak German and it is a shortcoming. They are lucky to be in the center because with that way of doing things they would deserve to close

03/09/2025: What a shame I discovered this restaurant too late! I really appreciated the generous portions, the quality of the fish, and the skill with which it was prepared. I personally recommend the octopus and calamari salad and the panciotti stuffed with shrimp and scallops, served with peeled shrimp and a lovely prawn. I peeked at the neighboring tables: I saw other particularly inviting dishes, so I'll definitely be back to try them! The prices are fair, and the staff is quick and attentive.

28/08/2025: The fish is excellent. There are plenty of options for non fish dishes. The menu is kept simple with not too many options and that reflects on the quality of the food. The octopus portion could be a little bit bigger. The place is a little bit on the pricier side.

05/09/2025: One of the best ice creams I've ever eaten!! A real treat. Wide selection. Such beautiful pastries too. Be careful, don't take credit cards, remember to carry cash.

29/08/2025: We chose this restaurant while visiting downtown Bolzano because it's slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets. It could be described as a little oasis in the city center. Excellent food and generous portions. Very friendly staff, and a good location for those visiting the archaeological museum.

The truffle gnocchi was an absolute standout—pillowy soft, perfectly cooked, and coated in a rich, fragrant truffle sauce that struck the perfect balance of indulgence without being overwhelming. It’s a truly romantic setting—soft lighting, thoughtfully arranged tables, and an ambiance that makes you want to linger long after the meal. It’s the kind of place that feels tailor-made for date nights or celebrating something meaningful. What tied it all together was the exceptional service. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making the evening memorable. Every recommendation was spot-on, and little details were anticipated before we even had to ask. This restaurant is a rare gem where food, atmosphere, and service all shine equally. I’ll be dreaming of that truffle gnocchi until my next visit!
