20/03/2025: A special place but quite small. Well furnished making you feel at home. Excellent and quality food. Helpful staff. The downside of this tavern is that it is a bit far from the city center. Recommended.

11/03/2025: We went for lunch on Sunday, we always suggest booking because it is a very popular place with locals and foreigners on holiday. Rustic and familiar atmosphere, very fast service even if the place was full. We ordered a starter and main courses, all very good. Advised

11/03/2025: We had dinner one evening in early March 2025. A very nice and particular place, a renovated former Dopolavoro. Very friendly staff and excellent food. I recommend it!

09/03/2025: A typical Tuscan place that you don't expect; 10 minutes from Bagno Vignoni and in the heart of Val D'Orcia, you enter an inn from times gone by. Since 1939 in this place we have eaten as we once did. Mini pans with a little, truffle tagliatelle, fondue in the bowl and Florentine steaks and meats of all kinds. Courteous and kind staff always attentive to everyone. A wine list out of the ordinary.

04/11/2024: Cucina tipica ad un prezzo onesto. Da provare assolutamente anche per la location particolare. Servizio e piatti ottimi , meglio di molti ristoranti stellati e gourmet della zona.

06/03/2025: Unfortunately we discovered this great restaurant with a nice atmosphere on a side street in Pienza too late. We would have liked to have come earlier. The starter cheese plate Presura was enough for two, followed by Pici Aglione, a bottle of Vernacia San Gimignano and water, and for dessert we had Affogato Al Caffè and Tiramisu Sienese with Cantucci bathed in Vin Santo. A coffee and everything together €110. For us it was worth the money and we will definitely come back. GRACIE

11/03/2025: Parecía un McDonald's. La comida era adecuada y nada más. O el servidor era desatento y continuamente pasó por alto muchas de nuestras necesidades básicas como cubiertos, pan para la mesa o traer pedidos completos. Pienza es una ciudad hermosa, pero Rossellino fue una decepción.

02/01/2025: Stylish bar with a fantastic view and very friendly service. We only had an aperitif here and went back the next day because we liked it so much.

03/02/2025: La Pietra has a wonderful ambience with pure decoration and beautiful materials. Food wise all dishes are regional, some organic and most important very good. The staff are kind and multilingual and expert in their wines. The little terrace in the summer with its huge pergola is a must to try out and on the top of it this place regularly offers concerts and other events. Definitely worthwhile a (several :-) detour to come here!

23/01/2025: A small hotel, nestled in the village of Roccalbegna. La Pietra dominates the village and the hotel is located right in front. A well-kept environment, with a good recent renovation: you are welcomed in the pergola and the rooms are simple but adequate for a natural stay. The lady who takes care of the hotel is very friendly and helpful, providing useful information for visiting Roccalbegna and the surrounding area, starting from the Bosco Rocconi nature reserve. Breakfast, served in the restaurant room, is complete and of good quality, with local products. You will have to return to try the restaurant, closed for seasonal rest, but with a very interesting menu.

18/02/2025: We went to this restaurant in Pienza and the experience was fantastic! Jeferson, the owner, is very kind and attentive, he made us feel at home. The food was delicious, prepared with care and very fresh ingredients. We absolutely recommend it!

06/02/2025: Lasciate fuori ogni speranza voi che entrate. 1 antipasto con crostone e pecorino con tartufo, caldo era caldo ma non aveva sapore di pecorino di Pienza (molto rinomato) il tartufo non si capiva bene cosa fosse 1 antipasto crostone col pomodoro, il pomodoro condito con olio di semi e non olio d'oliva e senza un pizzico di sale o altro e tra l'altro era ghiacciato di frigo, immangiabile. 1 secondo cinghiale in umido, 3 pezzettini di carne stoppacciosa e tantissimo pomodoro, caldo e insipido. 1 secondo peposo, se si chiama peposo un motivo ci dovrà pur essere o no? insipido pieno di brodaglia e senza l'ombra di un solo chicco di pepe. 2 coperti € 5 composti da un tovagliolo di carta. Non so cosa o dove abbiano mangiato quelle persone che "dicono che sia eccellente", non fatevi ingannare dalla scritta TRATTORIA, l'USL è mai anda a controllare?

28/01/2025: Tra i numerosissimi ristoranti in zona pochissimi hanno del cibo genuino. Il Poderino è veramente al top. Pochi tavoli. Un menù non ampio. Solo piatti della cucina Toscana fatti come la tradizione vuole e con materie prime di qualità eccezionale. In quattro persone abbiamo preso piatti diversi e tutti di alto livello qualitativo. Vino della casa ottimo, prosciutto raro da trovare.

12/01/2025: Domenica di Gennaio con sole e vento…una gita fuori porta con sosta in questo ristorante dal nome familiare. Con una vista spaziale sulle colline e su Pienza ci accoglie questo simpatico locale ricavato da un annesso di un vecchio podere che vanta anche la possibilità di un soggiorno presso l’omonimo Agriturismo. Menù molto vario e ricco di classici piatti toscani …partendo da una entrée di lonza (offerta) …noi optiamo per il pecorino alla griglia con miele di castagno e noci e pecorino alla griglia con rigatino. Seguitiamo con i Pici all’aglione e una tagliata di chianina al rosmarino…( mi raccomando cottura al sangue!), e ottime le patatine fritte (vere). Un buon corposo calice di vino e caffè. Prezzi adeguati alla ottima qualità del cibo e un sorriso all’oste che ci ha accolto con simpatia, educazione e gentilezza. Se siete in giro nella bella Toscana questa sosta è d’obbligo.

05/12/2024: Ένα μικρό ζεστό και όμορφο εστιατόριο. Υπέροχες γεύσεις και πολλή καλές τιμές. Ο ιδιοκτήτης εξυπηρετικός και πολύ ευγενικός. Ευχαρίστως θα ξαναπήγαινα!

28/11/2024: Tappa veloce a Piensa per degustare principalmente l'ottimo formaggio e così è stato! Crostone con formaggio e tartufo, tagliere misto di ottimi formaggi e due calici di vino! Ambiente accogliente e personale gentile! Prezzi onesti vista la qualità dei prodotti!

16/03/2025: Lovely pizza made fresh to order, they have plenty of Bianca and Rosso pizzas to choose from. Watch out for the English menus as they have some missing ingredients. Inside the restaurant which we sat doesn't have a great atmosphere. I'm sure outside in the sun would be good on a sunny day!

05/03/2025: The pizzeria serves delicious pizza with crispy dough and fresh ingredients. Nice service, quick order fulfillment. I definitely recommend it to everyone!
