06/01/2024: Intimate and welcoming environment. Wide choice of wines, simple dishes that contain the genuine flavors of a wonderful land and professional and attentive service. If you pass through Pienza you can't help but stop.

10/12/2023: This December 8th we decided to spend it in Val d'Orcia, visiting the various landscapes and markets in the area. During our stop we stopped to have lunch at the entrance to Pienza in a welcoming Winebar; where we were welcomed, even though we hadn't booked, by Christian and Giulia, the managers of the place, very cheerful and helpful. The Winebar is very bright, with a beautiful display of wines and tables inside and outside, everything is very well looked after and very clean. The guys are very knowledgeable and were able to advise us both in choosing the menu and in the choice of wines. We chose the typical crostini with Tuscan pâté, the tasty beef tartare and finally the classic cantucci with vinsanto famous in the area. Congratulations for your cheerfulness, education and availability, continue like this... if we were to be in the area we will definitely come and visit you. RECOMMENDED LOCATION

31/03/2024: Siamo venuti a Pienza per Pasqua e Pasquetta 2024 e abbiamo girato diversi localetti e ristorantini Poi la sera di Pasqua, abbiamo deciso di prenotare in questo ristorante avendo le stanze appena sopra e non volendo muoverci troppo..così un po’ per comodità… Scoperta meravigliosa…probabilmente il miglior ristorante di Pienza..qualità altissima, gusto meraviglioso, cortesi a e simpatia per completare un’esperienza meravigliosa… Pici al brunello e ragù bianco di cinta senese, picio cacio e pepe e picio pomodorino confit e ricotta salata Tutti e tre eccezionali Poi una porzione di zuppa piantina stratosferica Per secondo carpaccio di carne salada molto buono ma il piatto strepitoso è stato il piccione ripieno su riduzione di frutti di bosco Ragazzi un ristorante altamente migliore degli altri,non me ne volesse nessuno per carità.. Tornerò sicuramente !!!

17/03/2024: Abbiamo raggiunto Pienza per un fine settimana e siamo rimasti particolarmente colpiti da questo luogo e dal servizio del signor Antonio. L’ambiente è accogliente e familiare, la proposta molto invitante nel rispetto dei sapori del luogo. Porzioni abbondantissime: contro ogni pronostico abbiamo perso la scommessa fatta con il signor Antonio e non siamo riusciti a concludere il tagliere con i (buonissimi) salumi e formaggi del posto. Buonissimi i pici. Da sottolineare l’attenzione al cliente e la gentilezza del titolare che, compreso che ci trovassimo a Pienza per un’occasione speciale, ci ha portato di sua iniziativa il dolce fatto in casa con bollicine per brindare. Sicuramente torneremo. Un saluto dai ragazzi di Lucca.

Servizio tempi regolari, anche perchè, almeno quando mangiamo rilassiamoci e, anche se ci mettono 25 minuti per il menù, stiamo vivendo un momento di relax! Eccezzzionale Silvana ed il Suo Staff!!!

03/04/2024: We stayed there for 2 nights. The farmhouse is located in a very quiet area surrounded by greenery 2 minutes from the center of Pienza, also very convenient for getting around the Val d'Orcia! We immediately noticed how clean the room was! Everything was very neat and very shiny, something you don't find everywhere! The staff very kind and helpful. Excellent breakfast and dinner too! I would have nothing to complain about! We will definitely be back!

06/04/2024: I am a totally foodie, especially of Italian food. While in Pienza my boyfriend and I had a caffe at a super fancy restaurant with the most stunning view but it was super formal and expensive so we asked the waiter (newphew of the owner) for a recommendation for a restaurant frequented by locals and his favorite restaurant. He said hands down, Trattoria da Fiorella. It was a bit off the beaten path. Very quaint, with an amazing atmosphere. The staff and family of the owners had such passion about their food and the town of Pienza (and Toscano in general ) my boyfriend had Ribollito Tuscany soup, that was to die for. I got their recipe which was just general ingredients. I’m not on a mission to replicate it. (Doubtful because we can’t get the fresh ingredients in the states) I had the grilled pork (not sure of the marinade they used) but it was grilled to order and was out of this world, also had the crostini with liver late’, desert was a cream pie (can’t remember the name but forever will remember the taste) caffe was perfect. Macchiato, btw, Italian macchiato is nothing like American macchiato. It does not have sugar in it. It is basically a double espresso with a tad of milk. The local wine that was recommended was absolutely divine. I know I sound like I am getting paid to write this or am a family or friend. I can assure you I am not. I am just so over the top impressed with this place and with the family that runs it and prepares all the meals with their own secret recipes. If you are in Pienza, this is a place that you will not want to miss.

27/02/2024: Diciamo che i tre pallini sono, seppur generosi, esclusivamente per il cibo. Ambiente anche affascinante ma di un "freddo siderale", e non parlo di temperatura. Non esiste la minima empatia. Un bel caminetto ma desolatamente spento come spenta è l'atmosfera. Vino proposto dimenticabile. Polenta con il lardo servita su pezzi di parquet laminato. Personale che si aggira dalla cucina alla sala con maglioni, tanto che ti chiedi se sia di passaggio. A parte il cibo, nella norma, direi che proprio non ci siamo. Peccato. Spero che questa mia recensione sia presa come un feedback per apportare le migliorie opportune, l'ambiente lo meriterebbe.

07/03/2024: On this incredible terrace overlooking the Val d'Orcia you can breathe a relaxed atmosphere. The customers are mainly foreigners, but the cuisine has not made any compromises to meet the "tourist" taste. In fact, it offers very captivating dishes, both traditional and otherwise. Young and professional service. A great compliment to the giardiniera accompanying the fillet.

01/04/2024: I went to this place for lunch with a small group of adults on a cultural trip to Pienza and Monte Oliveto Maggiore. Super hospitality and service. Great attention to all our dietary needs, a very private and welcoming place, an exceptional menu, with high quality local ingredients. Excellent value for money. Convenient parking in the immediate vicinity (also for coaches), total wheelchair accessibility, as everything is on the ground floor. Highly recommended.

10/01/2024: Senza voler esagerare, questo è il miglior agriturismo in cui ho mai mangiato fino ad ora!!! Non so come riescano a prendere delle interiora e dei fagioli e fare un piatto con un sapore pazzesco...i pici al ragù di chianina e tartufo poi, indescrivibili!! cibo a parte: posto bellissimo, il cameriere gentilissimo e in generale un ambiente rustico molto piacevole. Se abitassi in zona andrei in questo agriturismo tutte le settimane!!

01/04/2024: We had dinner on the cloister terrace during the Easter holidays. The dishes allowed us to range between the flavors of the Val d'Orcia (unforgettable pecorino cheeses from Pienza and local cured meats expertly accompanied by tasty homemade compotes) and the delights of the Amalfi coast, homeland of the owners and some of the staff. Note of merit also for the desserts and the wine list, in our opinion worthy of a starred restaurant. Lively and competent service. Prices absolutely in line with the quality offered. Keep it up!
