A little place where it is absolutely worth a stop. La Sosta Del Rossellino wine shop. Intimate, well-furnished place, with an old fireplace that immediately warms your soul. Small terrace with countryside view. The cuisine is creative, the raw materials are excellent and worked in a fabulous way. An eye towards Sicily, the chickpea panelle and the aubergine caponata are excellent. Parmesan bake with delicious truffle (Agatina made an encore), liver pâté with candied yuzu peel, and excellent quality Tuscan cold cuts. And since they specialize in fresh pasta we opted for Tortelli with black cabbage and fresh garlic cream (garlic is not aggressive at all, in fact very delicate). Spaghetti alla Villanella, with artichokes, pine nuts, raisins, breadcrumbs, anchovies. And potato tortelli with meat sauce. Each dish accompanied with a wine pairing. To finish, a spectacular cannoli and tartare. Also accompanied by fortified wines. Kind, friendly service, never heavy. Prices/quality I would say excellent. Compliments.

Non è la nostra prima volta in questo ristorante ed è sempre un piacere tornare. Un buon connubio fra la cultura culinaria toscana e siciliana che esalta i sapori dei prodotti utilizzati ed i vini della loro cantina ben si sposano alla complessità dei piatti proposti. Lo consigliamo per godersi una piacevolissima pausa dal frastuono dei locali del centro di Firenze godendosi un panorama spettacolare delle colline fiorentine.

Room with veranda overlooking Florence. Good and interesting dishes in a relaxed environment. Service a little slow but "attentive" to the customer.

This wine shop is a rare pearl. In the delightful town of Settignano. Everything is wonderful. Hospitality, environment, atmosphere, music, dishes offered, service and selection of wines all perfect. The food is delicious, delicate flavors and perfectly balanced. Special mention for the world championship gnocchi!

Very nice atmosphere, but otherwise we were quite disappointed. Terrible service, we waited a long time with the finished dish in front of us without anyone asking us if we were expecting anything else, but in the meantime the next table was pampered (A and B series customers). The dishes were nothing exceptional apart from the panelle. Average cost, but high for the quality.

Unique place in the Florentine hills. We often go to this restaurant, the strong dishes such as gnocchi with castelmagno are highly recommended, the selection of wines is also excellent. Private and relaxing atmosphere.

Très bon restaurant avec un bon choix de vin

My partner and I had an excellent dinner here one night mid dec 2023. We were able to walk in with no booking. Their room is warm and we loved the brickwork. The food was excellent and we tried new things (like the Sicilian style panelle). Very nice owners too
