05/10/2025: The waiter was rude and became irritated when I asked for the regular menu. He only gave us one glass from the table next to the bottle of water for two people, and my husband and I took turns drinking. He offered no help or explanations (as Italians do) when choosing a dish. There was no bread with the burger, just a scrap of lettuce and two carrot sticks. The place is nice, but the experience was unpleasant.

04/10/2025: We had a Folk Burger (an excellent combination of ingredients, perfectly cooked burger) and a BBQ sandwich (also good), both accompanied by nice crispy fries. The only shame was that the sweet potatoes on the plate got cold quickly, unlike the ones in the basket that accompanied the Folk. The staff were friendly, and the place was minimal but well-maintained. Recommended.

07/09/2025: We arrived at 9 p.m., and upon entering, a man came out to tell us it was closed, even though the terrace was literally packed with people looking at the menu, and the internet said it closed at 9:30 p.m. I don't know why, but he was very rude about it, almost sending us away. It's a shame because the food was sure to be very good, based on the reviews we'd read, but the service was terrible.

20/05/2025: In visita culturale a Pienza con Gruppo il Lions Club Soncino, abbiamo prenotato per tempo per 28 persone, ci è stata allestita una sala praticamente solo per noi, siamo stati accolti con il sorriso da parte di tutto il personale, simpaticissimi ed efficienti - predisposta tavolata a ferro di cavallo molto conviviale. Il Menù è stato concordato per un pranzo Light, in realtà pur avendo optato per una solo portata di carne "Tagliata di manzo ai 4 pepi con verdure grigliate" che ci è stata servita in dosi abbondanti con più passaggi, personalizzandola alle richieste di chi desiderava la stessa con o senza il pepe, chi l'ha preferita ben cotta piuttosto che al sangue.... insomma non ci sono stati problemi, sono stati carinissimi ed hanno esaudito tutte le richieste. Si è proseguito con il dolce Crostata con marmellata fatta in casa, davvero buona. Nota bene avevamo nel gruppo degli intolleranti ad alcuni alimenti ed una celiaca ed ed andato tutto bene senza alcun disturbo alimentare nei giorni a seguire. Tutti soddisfatti , consigliamo vivamente il Ristorante La piazzetta.

03/07/2025: ¡Muy bien! Gracias. Hemos comido bien en la Toscana durante todo nuestro viaje, pero Idyllium fue nuestro favorito en cuanto a comida y ambiente en general. Resulta que realmente guardamos lo mejor para la última noche y hemos visitado algunos lugares increíbles. Música en vivo de buen gusto, la comida era excelente, el vino y los cócteles a juego y bueno… ¡las vistas hablan por sí solas! Una puesta de sol impresionante. Gracias, nos vemos la próxima vez.

15/07/2025: Vi fik anbefalet Pienza som udflugtmål. Vi kørte dertil og vi blev ikke skuffet. Super smuk og hyggelig sted og sikke en udsigt. Vi fandt denne lille restaurant og vi blev enig om at her skulle frokosten indtages, der var skygge. Vi valgte to forskellige traditionelle retter, begge vældig gode og velsmagende. Vi valgte en flaske hvidvin til, der var et godt udvalg af vine. Tjeneren denne eftermiddag var meget kompetent og tilstede.

12/07/2025: Abbiamo cenato qui due sere e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Dagli antipasti ai pici. Tutto squisito. Staff molto gentile e disponibile.

I don’t know if it was because we had a baby with us, or because we didn’t speak Italian, but we were clearly treated differently from the other tables. The waitresses were very kind and attentive to the tables around us, but with us it was the opposite: my husband and I called them several times and we were simply ignored. They even removed the menu from our table and never came back to take our order. In the end, we had to stand up and go to the counter to pay, because no one came to us despite our attempts. I’m not the type of person who usually writes reviews — I also own a business and I know how challenging it can be to deal with customers. That’s why I’m always careful. But this time I felt really bad, disrespected and humiliated, and I needed to share it here. Sometimes the owners may not be aware of this kind of behavior. I have traveled to many countries and eaten in countless restaurants, but honestly, this was the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life. If you are a tourist coming from another country, be careful not to choose this place and ruin your night with such a terrible experience. Unfortunately, we were ignored, left without being served, and ended up eating at our hotel. Truly a shameful and disappointing situation.
