15/03/2025: The best Florentine I've ever eaten in my life (and I've tried many in Tuscany and Italy in general). I happened to come here a few years ago and since that time I know that this is an obligatory stop in Pienza. Very intimate and well-kept place, extremely friendly and helpful staff. I really appreciated that they cut the Florentine in front of us (yes, you can see the chefs cooking live) and that they informed us of the weight and asked us if it was ok. Suitable for both couples and families (they have a beautiful round table also for those who come in a large group or for those who come alone but want to make new acquaintances). Finally they even gave us a discount. Strongly recommended

05/03/2025: I found the true flavors of Val d'Orcia! Typical and very welcoming place, excellent food, attentive and careful service. Cold cuts, cheeses, crostini and high quality meat accompanied by the excellent wines of the Capitoni Company: definitely a place not to be missed!

19/01/2025: una cena deludente e sotto le aspettative. piatti non in linea rispetto a quanto descritto e per niente gustosi. prezzo elevato rispetto all’effettivo qualità delle pietanze. non lo consiglio!

05/01/2025: É la seconda volta che mangiamo in questo ristorante, il posto è bellissimo, ha una veduta impagabile sulla Val d’Orcia, il cibo molto curato e molto buono. Unica pecca, questa volta li ho trovati un po’ cari rispetto a quello che abbiamo mangiato: c’era un fuori menù, tortellini in brodo, che io ho ordinato, per la modica cifra di 20€ mi é arrivata una porzione di 5 tortellini, mi é sembrato un po’ poco sinceramente. Per il resto siamo stati bene, personale gentile ed premuroso, buon vino e buon cibo.

14/01/2025: Unfortunately we didn't have a good time at this restaurant. It seemed to us that the pasta and gnocchi were pre-cooked: both for the flavor and for the wait which was very short, perhaps 5 minutes, from the appetizer to the plate of pici all'aglione. I think the latter was cooked only with garlic and not garlic as is reported on the menu, the sauce was a simple tomato puree and the pici, which arrived after 5 minutes, had far exceeded the cooking time. As a second course we ordered a mixed grill which we paid 28 euros, it was really little, but the meat was cooked well. The side dish, a little small for the large dish they put it in, along with some raw onion. We also didn't like the Coca Cola on tap, because it was flat and didn't taste good in itself. Bread basket almost non-existent. Nonetheless, we wanted to compliment the staff, who were friendly, professional and helpful.

07/03/2025: Very very lovely hosts working hard. A must visit for just two of them. Hope to visit them again. Tried some of their tapas dishes and those were good.

22/02/2025: €2.50 for an espresso is outrageous. This is an old style Italian cafe in need of an update. But it’s right on the main square so they will do a thriving business whatever.

01/01/2025: Una stella per non dare 0 stelle che non si può; Posto acchiappa turisti ma tralasciamo questo; Da fuori sembra bello carino e piccolo ma appena entri tutto suddiviso in vari locali. Ordinato un tagliere portato molto misero d prodotti, il gnocco fritto non ne parlo perché sennò partono insulti tutto crudo e FREDDO!!! Costo eccessivo per la qualità ma quello che mi ha sorpreso è stato il calice di rosso al mio compagno con cui ero, versato con il fondo !! Mamma mia che tragedia!!! MAI PIÙ !!!!!! Pessimo pessimo pessimo Ah sì c’era anche la porta che veniva lasciata sempre aperta e col freddo si può immaginare, il bagno inoltre tutto freddo senza riscaldamento e senza carta igienica !!! Aho Ripigliatevi siamo in Italia maremma maiala

31/12/2024: Cibo molto buono, personale molto gentile. Tagliere di pecorini di Pienza e piatto di sott’olio artigianali molto buoni, pici spuntature e salsicce, scamorza, peperoni e coniglio disossato buonissimi. Ottima scelta di vini, servizio attento. Ci torneremo
