28/08/2024: Just delicious food. The beef steak tagliata was amazing, beautifully seasoned with an explosion of flavor. My first wine from Montepulciano was super delicious, San Salvaggio. Potatoes with delicious rosemary. You can simply taste the authenticity from the region. Great staff and service! Only recommended. Grazie Ragazzi

22/08/2024: Pranzato all'esterno con stupenda vista su piazza grande, menù completo ma non esagerato, ottima qualità delle portate , disponibile e professionale il personale ..buonissimi i Pici egli affettati di Cinta Senese. Prezzi molto onesti .

25/07/2024: Even leaving out the part where I found a long gray hair in my starter, fully cooked along with my egg, I guess things happen in the kitchen. Regardless, I felt so insulted by this restaurant. I‘ve tried it with my partner - 4 course tasting menu, and we get told that we would get two different menus. That’s how I was served fish, barley, and white wines, while he gets meat, pasta, liver and red wines. This goes on until dessert when I got a refreshing lavender mint dish while he gets the eggnog. I’m sorry but to assume that a woman prefers white wines in this area in 2024 is just insulting. The restaurant itself had flies going around everywhere and it was boiling hot, I’m not even sure the AC was on. I just want to set apart from this comment the waiters and the sommelier, it’s not their fault that the menu works like this and the choices they made were perfect.

28/07/2024: A cena in coppia, locale curato e suggestivo nel centro di Montepulciano, servizio molto gentile e competente, piatti semplicemente squisiti. Buona la battuta di antipasto, eccellenti le tagliatelle al Nobile e la guancia cotta a bassa temperatura. Prezzi non a buon mercato, ma ne vale assolutamente la pena, vista la qualità. Secondo noi, il miglior ristorante di Montepulciano.

30/07/2024: Every time we return to this place we are always satisfied! The cuisine is typical Tuscan but never banal, full of particular details. Special praise for the indispensable tiramisu!!! Also highly recommended for a romantic evening.

22/07/2024: We just had dinner at this lovely restaurant and we left stunned. It’s hard to put into words how the host has been treating us and all the other guest. Such a depth of warmness and know how makes this one of the best Italian restaurant visits we have been to (and we have been to a lot) he made all the difference! Now to the food. The food is a 10 out of 10 as well. Especially the salciccia pasta and the tiramisu (or grande finale as the host Announces it ❤️) knocks it out of the park!

20/08/2024: Food Quality: Very good food. Must try the grilled beef and anything with truffles. Reservation: You must make a reservation. In August, it seems you need to book 2 days in advance because it is a small restaurant with limited seating. Overall Experience: Despite the wait and effort, it was well worth it because the food is very tasty.

06/08/2024: Tappa fissa a Montepulciano e proviamo questo grazioso ristorante situato in centro ma al tempo stesso fuori dal caos. Ci accomodiamo nel piccolo terrazzino prospicente al locale vista la temperatura gradevole (ma gli interni sono veramente molto suggestivi, praticamente una vecchia cantina affascinante). Tagliolini al tartufo da favola e fiorentina porzionata davanti a noi direttamente dal titolare. Qualità alta e cottura perfetta. Il tutto innaffiato con ottimo Nobile riserva. Peccato i dolci fatti da loro ma non all'altezza del resto (il 5° pallino manca solo per questo). Comunque esperienza molto positiva. Provatelo.

21/08/2024: We took two focaccias and a panna cotta, all excellent. Youthful atmosphere and very kind waiters.

17/08/2024: I can’t think of a time I have written this…..JUST GO! Order the steak, get the house wine, oh and don’t forget the smoked Burrata, and the pecorino with pears or truffle. The puddings are insane. This place is just insanely good, amazing value, and I love the one glass rule!!!!!

16/08/2024: Amazing meal, booking is necessary as the small osteria get booked out very quickly (people get turned away at the door so full it always is) All dishes are very tasty and big portions, the fiorentina though is the best I ever had, very tender, perfectly cooked and salted, really high quality The owner work the floor and cut the meat, he first discuss the size of it, cut it (you can see him and hear the knife as well) and bring it to you to show before cooking it at perfection He heard him speak a very good English to the tables next to us (I am Italian so not necessary with my family)

19/08/2024: I can't confirm the good reviews. The ice is far too warm and soft (outside temperature 27 degrees Celsius). The consistency is crispy and unfortunately not creamy. The taste is also slightly watery (cream ice cream). The fruit varieties are a little better (sorbet)

16/08/2024: Strawberry, milk chocolate, and pistachio flavors were delicious! ✨ Would not recommend stracciatella, salted caramel and dark chocolate.

13/08/2024: I recommend this pub because they cook very well. The lemon meatballs and stuffed courgettes are excellent, like homemade. The beer tiramisu is a real surprise, worth trying. Attentive and kind staff.

08/06/2024: Took a chance on the Polpo in a trattoria in Tuscany...We lived in Naples for 14 years and this was the best I have had from any restaurant. Found out the Chef is from Naples, ha. We also had the Chef's ravioli and the Gnocchi, both were first rate. The staff was attentive and very helpful, there when needed without any hovering. Many restaurants have changed hands or closed in Montepulciano but this is a solid choice. We will go back time and again.
