10/11/2025: Waited for several years, finally got to eat there, lunch reservations required. Excellent service, decided to try the tasting menu, not disappointed at all. The Ristorante lives up to its reputation and name. Enjoyed the food very much. (The last two sentences are a repetition of the first and can be omitted.)

09/11/2025: Magnificent location, very well-maintained and welcoming, located in front of the evocative Basilica of San Biagio, where you can easily find parking. Very kind and professional staff, high-quality food, impeccably cooked and presented, especially the porcini mushroom ravioli and quail Wellington, which we enjoyed. Not to mention the variety of desserts, which we really appreciated. Highly recommended.

14/10/2025: The pasta I ate here was one of the best in Tuscany! Pici with tomato and garlic sauce, indescribable. We then also tried the Florentine steak, which was delicious. The atmosphere is relaxed and super friendly. We loved it!

09/11/2025: Welcoming, clean, and quiet place. Friendly and attentive staff. Pici with wild boar ragù, sliced ​​beef with Cinta Senese lard, side dishes, desserts, and wine—everything was perfect. You truly deserve a great review. I'm sorry I don't have any photos to share...we were too busy enjoying the dishes. We'll be back as soon as we can!

06/11/2025: Every visit to Montepulciano wouldn’t be complete without lunches and dinners at this wonderful place. Vittorio and Cristiana are the heart and soul of the place, their hospitality is truly outstanding. The food is always amazing, from the fresh handmade pasta made by Vittorio to the excellent, perfectly balanced desserts prepared by Cristiana. This is our fourth time coming back to Montepulciano just to eat here, and we’ll definitely keep returning. A true gem! We cannot wait to be back already!

09/11/2025: For us, this restaurant was a miss. We chose this restaurant because of its inclusion in the Michelin guide but it failed to meet that standard. Our evening started awry when we were asked to choose our table. After several minutes, they told us we needed to move to a less desirable table. We were then ignored for 10+ minutes while they attended to patrons who had arrived after us. For the remainder of the evening we received less than attentive service in contrast to other patrons. Food wise, it was ok but not great. Because I am gluten free, I asked about the details of the tasting menu. Unlike most restaurants, they would not tell me what was on it. Spoiler alert- it’s all items from the regular menu. Twice, they served me items that contained gluten. Several of our dishes were lukewarm. I asked to modify my paired wines to be red and they acted like it was a huge inconvenience. Finally, when making the reservation we indicated that I am gluten free and that it was my birthday. The restaurant made little effort for either. Instead of gluten free bread, I was given a package of grocery store crackers. For my birthday, they gave me a small jelly candy with a candle. No staff acknowledged the celebration. This is not the level of food or service that one would expect for a restaurant that holds itself out as a Michelin fine dining establishment.

25/11/2025: Pleasant setting, lots of space Wonderful pasta I took tagliatelle with bitter orange my wife the picci suga , very fine taste, beautiful bread and we enjoyed the mobile olive oil which is extraordinary as was the wine. Not typical Toscane style but “hors category”cooking . A joy to remember. As the stinqo de maiale was very special enough to share with 2.. Thank You for the wonderful lunch. We bought local grappa and the Nobile olive oil..

12/11/2025: Amazing experience from start the finish! Must book well in advance. We had the second seating and we arrived to a crowd out on the street. So we are all milling around wondering what is to come. As the first seating is departing, they begin calling out phone numbers and then names. It felt like winning a prize as you entered. Table sharing with 9 to 10 others at a long table becomes a social gathering. The Florentine steaks are the stars of the show and such a ridiculous value. They bring out the one they are going to serve you and you approve it. The two of us shared one about 1.5 kg, plus a couple of starters, sides, bread and a very large carafe of red house wine. Everything during the two hours was perfect. The owner had a great sense of humor and laid down the specifics, one glass for both wine and water which encouraged water consumption! It was a very enjoyable night and conversations with people we just met bonding over food and wine in a special setting.

13/11/2025: It was a strange environment for food, the vegetables were nicely grilled, the liver was salty but good, the arrosticini were okay. The Trippa was very oily.. the Trippa alla Romana is way better without a doubt. They told us that their Trippa had spices inside but we didnt taste nothing, had very ‘average’ taste. They don’t serve wine which is very strange. The funniest thing is that they charge for the tap water 2.50€. Insane!! Do the customers need to pay for tap lukewarm water that has pipe taste?! At least, advise the customers that is tap otherwise you could offer bottled water, right? Some people need to learn customer service… - this comment goes to the owner and not to the lovely girl she served us.

07/11/2025: Small restaurant serving typical local dishes. The owner is very friendly and approachable. Excellent burrata, delicious meatballs, and even the mutton arrosticini, but the pici al cintasenese with wild fennel are out of this world! 5 STARS WELL-DESERVED

31/10/2025: There's a lot of competition in Montepulciano for excellent places to eat and drink but this place is the winner of them all. Incredible food, impeccable (and very family feel) service from everyone. Their wines are excellent too. The pici with duck and also pici with wild boar were particular highlights. Save room for the Pecorino pudding. I never score my food higher than a 9/10 but my Pici with duck was my first ever 10/10 Also to note that ALL pasta dishes are available with hand-made gluten free pasta. My dad is GF and he's never been able to get anything like what he could here, it's like actual fresh pasta. Amazing If you come to Montepulciano, please come here.

15/11/2025: We had dinner last night at this typical Tuscan restaurant. The platter and tagliatelle with wild boar ragù were excellent. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant!
