14/01/2025: We had a delicious New Year's Eve dinner in this nice, cozy restaurant. We went for the sea food option, and it was GREAT! Beatrice, Marcello and Mihai made our night full of joy. Claudia and Manu made our delicious dinner. Thank you guys for a great food and time!

06/01/2025: Siamo arrivati in quattro senza prenotazione dopo che altri due locali ci avevano rifiutato... Il ristoratore gentilissimo ha controllato la piccola sala e poi c'ha detto che che avrebbe riservato il tavolo dopo 45 minuti. Abbiamo mangiato due antipasti toscani, quattro primi differenti, due tagliate con lardo e patate al forno, il tutto accompagnato da buon vino, dolci caffè e digestivo offerto dalla casa. Ci aspettavamo un servizio sbrigativo visto l'orario e invece siamo stati a tavola per ben due ore mentre altri tavoli si alzavano e venivano immediatamente rioccupati. Le porzioni erano abbondanti tant'è che siamo usciti e molto sazi. Abbiamo speso circa 40€ a testa ma è la cifra giusta se si vuol mangiare bene come abbiamo mangiato noi. Se torneremo a Montepulciano sicuramente non ci dimenticheremo di prenotare.

29/12/2024: We were thrilled that our hotel was able to secure a reservation for us at this restaurant on Christmas Day. The ambiance was magical, with a live wood fire crackling in the room and elegant taper candles adding a warm, festive touch. We enjoyed the pre-fixed Christmas menu, and each course was beautifully presented. The duck, in particular, was a standout-perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. The service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout the evening. This was a truly special dining experience, and we’re so glad we had the opportunity to enjoy it. Highly recommended for anyone looking for exceptional food and a cozy, inviting atmosphere!

29/11/2024: We were here at the end of November 2024. A nice glass of Antico Colle wine for €32. The lasagna was finally what we were looking for in Tuscany. My dish was not what I expected (because my Italian is not good), but the stuffed raviolla with osso bucco and saffron sauce exceeded my expectations. Definitely recommended for everyone. Rich and not so rich. Moreover, the service was super professional. Grazie.

04/01/2025: We had a superb meal on January 1, 2025. Chef Matia Putzulu plays with textures and flavor combinations like a Maestro. This restaurant certainly deserves its place on the list of one hundred places of excellence in Italy. The wine list is also magnificent. We will be back during our next visit to the region.

02/01/2025: I want to thank the owners of this restaurant for their fairness. On holiday in Montepulciano for the holidays, after having booked for four people for New Year's Eve dinner, unfortunately we had to cancel the reservation almost at the last minute due to a serious family death that occurred on the morning of December 31st. I was charged nothing even though it was their right for the lost income. At the first opportunity we will not fail to have lunch or dinner in this place whose reviews are very positive.

11/12/2024: small but comfortable restaurant, very kind owner, excellent and plentiful cuisine, and for those with a sweet tooth I recommend the tiramisu in our way, a real bomb in every sense.

11/01/2025: All delicious! From the appetizer to the dessert we really liked everything! The environment feels like home and the woman who served us was truly delightful, smiling and helpful. The chef has golden hands, the dishes were really delicious, I would have done an encore of everything! We didn't book, but I recommend doing so, especially in winter because places are limited and you risk missing out on the fantastic cuisine!

11/01/2025: The best found in Montepulciano! Amazing food for a good price (pasta from 8€), wide selection of wines (starting from 13€ for a bottle), excellent and attentive service. We enjoyed our dinner a lot. Always think before and reserve a table, the place is popular and always full.

26/12/2024: An amazing place with a fantastic owner! I think we'll meet again next Boxing Day. Even my little girls tasted the wonderful beers and we all came out singing.

06/01/2025: I managed to eat well in this tavern despite being vegan. As an appetizer I ordered a delicious tomato bruschetta, as a first course some delicious homemade pici all'aglione, and as a side dish sautéed wild herbs with chilli pepper. The prices are definitely honest. It would be wonderful if in the future they considered including a vegan option in the desserts.

05/01/2025: A glittering and superficial circus show dedicated to those who have very little respect for cuisine. One would expect anyone who, however deservedly, can fill a room several times, to take advantage of the opportunity to give attention and respect to people and food. This did not seem to be the case to us. A mention of demerit certainly goes to the steak which, despite being described as a specialty, appears to lack maturation, cooked too quickly and on too high a flame. For those who have a different respect for animals and meat, it is strongly recommended to focus on other first and second courses in order to avoid a finish on the palate and a bitter mood. In summary, pay attention to expectations when you cross the threshold, often the pleasantness of a place depends only on it.

13/01/2025: Very small but we ate very well. The handmade pici, pasta and chickpeas and the platter of cold cuts and cheeses are good. The only flaw is that the wine is by the bottle or glass. Unfortunately they don't even fill the glasses halfway. But alas I have found this in all restaurants. Since I wasn't driving I couldn't get a bottle. At least give the wine in bulk.

03/11/2024: A small pearl in the heart of Montepulciano. They produce a delicious ice cream, with all natural ingredients absolutely KM0, I tasted an ice cream with new oil and fiordilatte which to say is good, absolutely does not convey the wonderful taste it leaves in the mouth. They should force the owner (Nicola) to put up a sign saying (WARNING IT CREATES ADDICTION) Well done Nico!!!!!

05/01/2025: We entered without having read any reviews and we were pleasantly surprised by everything, a relaxing, beautiful and well-kept atmosphere. Very interesting selection of wines all accompanied by an excellent sommelier who explained the wines to us excellently
