15/09/2025: I had a disappointing experience at Le Leggo del Vingnola due to a booking misunderstanding and the unprofessional attitude of the lady front desk staff and waitress. I had made a reservation and canceled it well within the 24-hour policy, but a second booking appeared in the system under my name, with only one confirmation reaching my inbox. This caused confusion upon arrival. I fully understand that the restaurant has held a table, and I would have been amenable to a resolution had the matter been addressed with courtesy and clarity. Unfortunately, when I tried to clarify the situation, Virginia, the lady at the front desk and waitress were aggressively dismissive, cutting me off within seconds and asking me to step aside as they needed to work. This attitude felt disrespectful and left me with no opportunity to explain. All guests deserve to be treated with courtesy, especially in challenging situations, but I felt neither respect nor understanding was extended to me. This experience fell short of the service standards expected from a Michelin-recognized establishment. I am not seeking a refund for the €100, but I urge the restaurant’s management to review how they handle difficult situations to ensure future guests are treated with respect and grace. I hope this feedback is taken constructively to improve staff training and guest interactions. P.S. The response below clearly shows the owner’s reluctance to acknowledge the misunderstanding regarding the booking. Attached is proof of a cancellation made two days prior to the booking. The owner’s rude comment certainly does not meet Michelin standards and demonstrates how guests are treated. A professional, high-caliber restaurant should have well-trained staff capable of handling difficulties and misunderstandings with grace and professionalism. Food for thought: Would a distinguished five-star hotel, such as Rosewood or Four Seasons, ever accuse a guest publicly compounding with an error of misspelling their guest’s reservation name?

11/08/2025: We stumbled upon dinner almost by chance, and this time we weren't blindly lucky... quite the opposite! Upon arrival, the owner sat us at a table under the portico and then explained the set menu. From that moment on, it was pure tasting ecstasy. For the first time in our lives, we ate vegan. A very pleasant surprise!!! We'll be back soon, both for the excellent food, its superior quality and flavor, and for the kindness and service. The menu consisted of four courses, from appetizer to dessert. The wine was excellent. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, even for those who, like us, have never tried vegan.

10/09/2025: We came here on a recommendation and were not disappointed. The hostess was incredibly kind and accommodating, and the food was delicious. The two of us shared a pasta dish and a baked fish dish. Both were excellent, and the portions were more than sufficient, with one or two side dishes. The prices are very reasonable. We'll be back!

17/08/2025: The steak is a fiele mignon, the best part of the tenderloin, and I recommend it in truffle butter. Bistecca ala fiorentina—several types of beef with skin and fat—I don't recommend it.

25/08/2025: The atmosphere was peaceful, and we were greeted warmly at a late hour without a reservation. This was very much appreciated, as we'd been turned down at many other places. I came here on the recommendation of the pasta, and we ordered ragu, cheeses, and wine. Everything was delicious. I came here on the recommendation and would return. The cheese board is best ordered for 4-6 people, and the pasta was very good value for money. They charge 2.5 per person per cover. A good place to come.

31/08/2025: What a fantastic evening this was! We ate the signature menu with the two of us, and it was fantastic. A great selection of wines and spices, and unique and delicious dishes. The service was also very pleasant and communicative!

26/08/2025: I expected a more impactful experience. The service was obviously impeccable, but the interior location and the dishes didn't particularly wow me.

18/08/2025: A great place for dinner in Montepulciano! The atmosphere on the terrace and the excellent wine made our dinner special. The food was also excellent, as was the attentive and friendly service. Highly recommended!

15/08/2025: A wonderful mid-August lunch spent with the family. Possibly the best pici I've ever tasted, and the cured meats and cheeses were excellent too. Highly recommended.

03/09/2025: The owner and staff are incredibly kind, and the entire menu is available gluten-free, including homemade bread and pasta, all hand-rolled by them. And it tastes amazing! The gluten-free pici all'aglione and the gluten-free tagliatelle are also amazing. Calling them gluten-free tagliatelle with tomato sauce is an understatement, because their tomato sauce is superb. 07/09/2025: I would avoid this restaurant because the owner overcharged us for one item we didn't have and was not on the waiter's bill and overcharged us on one of out entree's. If that wasn't bad enough after sitting at his desk asking us to pay in cash so he could avoid paying his income tax when I corrected him on the two overcharges he was upset. One of his employees said it was a mistake, which it wasn't, the owner then followed me out to the sidewalk where he started to berate me in Italian which he knew I didn't speak. I told his clientele in English, which almost all of them spoke what was really happening. The food was OK but my pasta was overcooked like we were at the Olive Garden rather than in the real Tuscany. There were many other places to choose from I I would avoid this boorish man who spends the whole night chatting us his customers.

06/09/2025: Location, top service, the food... unique!!!! I've never had such good cacio e pepe!!! Even the Etruscan pici are EXCEPTIONAL!

11/09/2025: Lunch on the go. We had the pici with Tuscan ragù, absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is typical of the area, with vaulted ceilings and bottles and local produce hanging/displayed. Definitely worth a try.

10/09/2025: Excellent restaurant and wine bar located on the main street of Montepulciano. Truly delicious food and excellent service. The wines are also top-notch.
