05/10/2025: Portions are very tiny, Pork ribs are kid size, potatoes are reheated in microwave, (could hear them reheating and see from our table) pasta was also the worst we had in Tuscany.
two meals and still water equalled 55 euro. super expensive for a microwave meal.

08/07/2025: We had a wonderful stay at Castello Banfi — the property is absolutely stunning, surrounded by breathtaking Tuscan views. The service was top-notch throughout our visit; the staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome.
The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that we didn’t get the Junior Suite we had booked. While the room we were given was still lovely, it was a bit disappointing not to receive the specific accommodation we had looked forward to.
That said, the overall experience was still exceptional — we’d definitely come back and recommend it to others!

12/10/2025: Welcoming and well-organized location. On a sunny day like the one we just had, it's a worthwhile place, nestled in a totally relaxing square. The service was helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The food was excellent! We each ordered various dishes, which we then sampled... Really good!!! Portions were decent. The price tends to be high for the simplicity of the dish itself... But it's still worth it. The Florentine steak was wonderful!!! You can't miss it.
I recommend it! Excellent place

The sauce is incomparable... the best pizza I've had in Italy so far! Super crispy and served piping hot 👏
The place is small, but there's seating... and drinks are available too... including beer.
The shop is small, and you have to be careful not to pass by! I highly recommend it!

21/10/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant in winter 2018 and were touched by the thoughtful kindness and delicious food. Fast forward a few years and it’s even better than we remember. A small handwritten menu offers Tuscan favorites that a perfect for the season. Everything is made fresh. Service is leisurely and thoughtful. This is a lovely place to eat and drink locally and enjoy the best of Tuscany.

12/10/2025: A small but welcoming place. The Etruscan rabbit was exceptional, and the beef was delicious. The side dishes were also delicious. The desserts were the final touch: exquisite tiramisu and a surprising hazelnut semifreddo. The waiter was very professional and helpful.

I 100% confirm everything I said previously, 100% satisfied across the board. For the past three years, every visit to Montalcino has been exclusively to Belvedere! Thanks to Simone and his team, both in the dining room and in the kitchen!

06/10/2025: I wouldn't return to this place. Nice location, good service, but the food was just average. We ordered chickpea soup, crostoni, bruschetta, wild boar, and a glass of Brunello. The only positive was the wild boar (frozen); we weren't thrilled with the rest, especially the crostoni. I should also point out that you can't charge €10 for a Brunello (in Brunello country) and fill the glass less than a quarter full.
06/10/2025: Really excellent pasta (tried aglione and porcini). Also had ceci soup which was great. And on top of that the prices are good.

The day spa was truly wonderful – we felt completely at home, enjoyed the beautiful garden, and relaxed. The wellness area is super cozy, and you can tell that you put a lot of effort into making your guests feel comfortable and relaxed.
The food was fantastic – absolutely delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed it and wished we could have stayed longer.

21/10/2025: If you are driving in Italy you can't go wrong with Si Montalcino Hotel. Clean, well kept with a very friendly staff. great parking that is close to the hotels lobby. It's only 5 minutes away from Montalcino which is a nice place to visit.
11/08/2025: We stayed a few days and had a great time. The rooms are simple and, in my opinion, could use some updating. However, the service is top-notch and the staff is extremely friendly. Breakfast was excellent.
