Ottimi assaggi di olio, l antipasto della casa, l assaggio di Brunello, le scaloppine al sangiovese e i tipici dolcetti...x finire ottima grappa al brunello.... Prezzo davvero onesto... Ottima esperienza, tanta qualità... Spero di tornarci presto

We took a platter for 1 person but plenty for 2, two ribollitas and two glasses of red brunello and coffee. Spent around 60.00.
Worth coming back for both the ambience and the menu.

The best speghetti alla Matriciana in Italy, worth a trip on itself.This restaurant is a little gem, quality of the ingredient and of the food is off the charts, The Chef is worthy of a Michelin star and her creativity is reflected in a simple but at the same time unique menù. Pino wine list offers some of the best Brunello and Rosso in Montalcino, with focus on small producers. Hard to do better than this.
08/04/2025: the best cafe met in Italy with extremely delicious food. We order Peposo con patate (beef with potato) and baccarat con ceci (cod with chickpeas) are full of chef’s creativity. And the people are very kind here! They help us in menu translation, and the chef is also very patient!

13/04/2025: Siamo stati in questa trattoria con famiglia e amici. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo, molto gentili nel servizio, posto bellissimo, non dò 5 stelle perché mi è piaciuto ma non al punto di dire wow.
Cmq se siete in zona merita una visita.

07/02/2025: I had breakfast there and ate pizza there in the evening. It has a magnificent view of the Montalcino valley, otherwise the place is unfortunately a bit anonymous, but its true value lies in being a meeting point for the people of the town, the real ones. Croissants are normal, but this is an aspect that it has in common with other bars in the town, the pizza is very good. Courteous service, good quality/price ratio.

29/08/2024: I am really happy to have had this experience of a dinner at the canonical tavern in Castiglion Del Bosco... The menu and the menu of the day satisfied us greatly with dishes of the highest quality and very delicious... I would like to thank in particular the waitress who our table was occupied all evening and she was truly exceptional and professional in taking care of us... a well-structured menu and a truly customer-friendly service, in addition to dinner we also had the pleasure of meeting the very famous chef Carlo Cracco... I will definitely come back
