17/09/2025: A charming place, delicious food, and all this topped off with fantastic service. Thanks to all the guys who served us. Thanks to the attentive, yet informal, and cheerful service, we felt welcomed and completely at ease. We even discovered a wine that, despite our extensive wine knowledge, we weren't familiar with. Excellent. The prices were truly fair. Congratulations to all of you. Keep up the good work, guys. We'll definitely be back, but in the meantime, we'll spread the word.

13/09/2025: 10/10 would recommend this cooking class to everyone. The property was beautiful, easy to find and there was parking on site. Alessandro was the best chef/guide and we could have listened to him talk about Locanda Demetra's history and his experiences all day long. The food we cooked was easy enough to make as well and was SO good. This experience was definitely a highlight of our trip.

18/08/2025: The food is AMAZING. The people care a lot about hospitality and clearly pour a lot of love and time into the preparation. That’s all there is to it. Great wine pairings suggested by the server (who might have also cooked a lot of the food?) Only inside seating which normally I would be turned off by but is great. Loved it 10/10, ate and enjoyed every bite.

11/08/2025: This nice, little, cozy restaurant in the town of Montelcino was a good stop for dinner on one night of our trip. The waiter and staff were incredible, explaining all of the dishes and helping with wine selection! The wine was great and from a small, local producer. We chose to go with the set menu of 4 courses; appetizers, pasta, beef and dessert (tiramisu) which was okay. I would suggest just ordering off their regular menu as for the price of this restaurant, the set menu isn't the best choice.

13/07/2025: Unfortunately, it wasn't what I expected. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The many positive reviews are once again meaningless. It was okay, but nothing more!

16/08/2025: A place that's almost too simple, but with ridiculously expensive first and second courses. The atmosphere is shabby. The food is tasteless.

16/08/2025: Judgment without having eaten. Exactly...we arrived at 8:30 PM, asking if there was room for two, and were snobbishly told that everything was booked, defying the cliché that all Tuscans are friendly. On our way out, we glanced at two people already seated and noticed them enjoying their meal comfortably at two tables, one of which was used to put their cell phones and car keys. A host, no matter what, should at least try to find a solution...yes...here he found one by telling us there was a pizzeria further down the road...VERY BAD IMPRESSION!!!

29/08/2025: A very welcome and unexpected surprise, truly well done! Update August 28, 2025: I 100% confirm what I said previously, 100% satisfied across the board. For the past three years, every visit to Montalcino has been exclusively to Belvedere! Thanks to Simone and his team, both in the dining room and in the kitchen!

24/08/2025: A restaurant for Italians. I recommend it. Especially the truffle pinci, the pana cotta, and the tiramisu. Italian customers speak like Italians: loudly. No one whispers. The service is polite. I loved it.

11/08/2025: We stayed a few days and had a great time. The rooms are simple and, in my opinion, could use some updating. However, the service is top-notch and the staff is extremely friendly. Breakfast was excellent.

Thanks to its strategic location, we were able to easily combine moments of absolute relaxation by the pool with visits to the various neighboring villages...just what we were looking for! The perfect breakfast on the enchanting porch, the romantic and welcoming rooms, and the truly super attentive staff, especially Augusta and Alessandro, made us feel pampered with invaluable advice on the area. What can I say... if you're looking for a place to completely disconnect from everyday life, forgetting even the time and day, this is the place for you! See you soon.
