25/12/2024: Wir kommen jedes Jahr nach Montalcino und dann natürlich ins Locanda Demetra. Wir sind totale Fans. Wir haben jedesmal einen wunderschönen Abend mit unglaublich gutem Essen. Hier leben 3 junge Menschen ihren Traum und das merkt man in allem: dem Essen, der Freude Gäste zu bewirteten und natürlich das Ambiente. Es gibt nur an 3 Tagen in der Woche abends ein Menü, das nur geringfügig änderbar ist. Man muss sich sozusagen überraschen lassen - und das macht unglaublich Spaß. Hinzu kommt, dass nur eine begrenzte Anzahl von Gästen pro Abend dort bewirtet werden. Eine Reservierung ist unbedingt zu empfehlen! Jeder Gang wird genau erklärt: Herkunft des Fleisches, das Gemüse und die Kräuter wachsen im eigenen Garten. Die Auswahl an Weinen von Winzern vor Ort ist sehr groß. Rundum ein MUST.

21/11/2024: Characteristic inn located outside Montalcino. External veranda and tables outside. Wide open spaces for children. Limited places, reservations recommended. Excellent food, prepared with care and genuine products. Menu with wide choices. Excellent wine, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Recommended if you want to try something different from the usual restaurant.

23/01/2025: Sotto consiglio della cantina Sasso di Sole siamo andati a mangiare in questo meraviglioso posto a pranzo. É stato subito amore: salutati con educazione e chiedendo il nome della prenotazione ci hanno accompagnato al tavolo. Il ragazzo che lavora lì, Abi, é stato incredibile. Professionale e simpatico. Giovane, con tanta voglia di fare e passione ci ha consigliato piatti e vini. Ha risposto ai nostri dubbi ed alle nostre curiosità sui prodotti del territorio ed é stato più che preparato. Consiglio di andare perché é veramente un posto dal quale non vorresti più uscire. Noi abbiamo mangiato un tagliere di caccia e di formaggi, pici e guancetta di maiale: semplicemente divini! Siamo tornati una seconda volta due giorni dopo perché meritano assolutamente. Complimenti a tutti, ma soprattutto ad Abi!

13/01/2025: ambiente top , bellissimi , specialmente mangiare nel livello sopraelevato lo trovo stupendo. adattissimo a coppie e gruppi di amici che cercano tranquillità e comfort. cibo ottimo , presentato in modo originale , servizio gentile , efficiente e competente , ampia scelta di vini . prezzo non eccessivo , per un antipasto ed un altra portata , con un calice siamo intorno ai 30/35 euro . in zona , uno dei luoghi da non perdere .

15/01/2025: Consultando le recensioni abbiamo deciso di provare questa trattoria a Sant'Angelo Scalo e mai scelta fù più azzzeccata, ambiente informale a gestione familiare. In due abbiamo preso una zuppa di funghi con castagne e porcini e degli gnocchi al sugo d'anatra; per secondo un taglire di formaggi misti che abbiamo diviso e per finire una zuppa inglese ed un caffè. Tutto buonissimo e preparato in modo genuino. Spesa di 20,00 € a testa. Torneremo sicuramente!!!!

13/01/2025: Siamo capitati in questa trattoria per caso a ora di pranzo diretti nella zona di Montalcino. Siamo stati fortunati a fermarci qui. Ambiente semplice ma curato. Buona scelta nel menù con piatti della tradizione locale però cucinati in maniera ricercata. Prezzi onestissimi.

07/01/2025: Purtroppo esperienza negativa. Eravamo in 6 amici con tanta voglia di fare una cena Toscana ma la delusione ha superato le aspettative: pici cacio e pepe con formaggio filante sembrava mozzarella. I secondi di carne avevano in comune lo stesso abbondante olio di fondo color arancione eppure erano carni diverse ! Ci ha molto deluso. Cameriere gentile. Prezzo modico.

10/12/2024: Ristorante sempre sul pezzo da anni ove si respira tipicità e “toscanita’”. Il menù ben strutturato servito da personale attento e dai responsabili locale,colloca,per esperienze personali,questa trattoria,nell’elite dei locali di pari grado. Le materie prime utilizzate inoltre,sono risultate più che genuine in particolar modo la bistecca con filetto prescelta,ottima e dai sapori autentici. Rapporto qualità prezzi discreto ed esperienza più che consigliata.

05/12/2024: Este restaurante es imprescindible si te gusta la muy buena comida y los vinos fantásticos. Nos encanta visitar este lugar y la bienvenida de Simone y su maravillosa madre es el comienzo perfecto de una gran noche. Simone siempre tiene tiempo para una charla y para encontrar la combinación perfecta de vino con la comida. El restaurante está muy bien situado en la esquina de la plaza. Cuando estamos en Montalcino, siempre planeamos una noche aquí - o dos si es posible.

28/01/2025: Great spot, amazing pizza. Right in the heart of Montelcino, short wait, and great food. Went twice and got a sandwich once and pizza another. Definitely recommend.

12/01/2025: Historic center of Montalcino, main street. You can stop there for a coffee (excellent), for a full breakfast, or for a simple, cheap and tasty lunch. Some tables have a breathtaking view of Valdorcia (sorry if it's not much...). You can stay there even just for a glass of wine, the quality of which I cannot comment on due to a specific conflict of interest, but on the price I can say that it is more than good. Quick and friendly service.

29/08/2024: I am really happy to have had this experience of a dinner at the canonical tavern in Castiglion Del Bosco... The menu and the menu of the day satisfied us greatly with dishes of the highest quality and very delicious... I would like to thank in particular the waitress who our table was occupied all evening and she was truly exceptional and professional in taking care of us... a well-structured menu and a truly customer-friendly service, in addition to dinner we also had the pleasure of meeting the very famous chef Carlo Cracco... I will definitely come back A big round of applause again to all the staff

18/10/2024: Helpful and courteous host. We called asking for a table for 8.30pm then for 9.30pm having left Rome late. They thought the kitchen was now closed in a small town like Montalcino - late October. The innkeeper replied that he was waiting for us! There were two of us when we arrived and he made us sit. Very kind, good and appetizing cuisine, nice location inside!!! Place ok! It doesn't take much to satisfy and make customers happy, small attentions! Thank you
