13/06/2026: One of the best meals we had in Italy. We had the cavatelli with fresh vegetables from the farm and the ravioli. Also had a wine pairing, tiramisu and chocolate torte. The views were incredible and service was excellent. Just a great place and short drive (5mins) from city center in Montalcino.

04/07/2026: The restaurant is very nice and cozy, the people who work there are very nice and treated us well. The food came quickly, and it was clearly home made, fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is light but happy at the same time. I strongly recomend this restaurant to families, couples and individuals who want to have a memorable dinner.

Usually, in historic and crowded places you find touristy places, but here you can savor authentic flavors, cooked with care and passion. The place and the flavors took me back in time, to my childhood. It's hard to find places as authentic and cared for as these these days, from the evocative retro location to the fresh flowers on the table. As for the food, what can I say? 10 out of 10. We had two first courses, a pinci with wild boar and tagliolini with nettle and arugula pesto, and for the second course, a guinea fowl with vin santo and a sliced ​​steak. 09/07/2026: An employee from a winery recommended this wine bar to us so we could taste some regional wines from different wineries. The service was very friendly and attentive, and our waiter was very knowledgeable about the wines. We each tasted three wines and were able to specify what kind of wines we were interested in. The wines were very well selected, tasted great, and were accompanied by olives and nachos. It was good value for money. Afterwards, we received recommendations for other wineries and had a very enjoyable time overall. We sat outside, and it's worth noting that there's a moderately busy road right next to it. It didn't bother us, but if you're sensitive to noise, you might want to sit inside.

12/10/2025: Welcoming and well-organized location. On a sunny day like the one we just had, it's a worthwhile place, nestled in a totally relaxing square. The service was helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The food was excellent! We each ordered various dishes, which we then sampled... Really good!!! Portions were decent. The price tends to be high for the simplicity of the dish itself... But it's still worth it. The Florentine steak was wonderful!!! You can't miss it. I recommend it! Excellent place

31/05/2026: We stopped here for lunch during the Eroica on our motorbike tour. Even though we hadn't booked, the owner was incredibly kind and welcomed us even though the place was packed. The view is incredible. I recommend enjoying a glass of Brunello with cured meats and cheeses—everything is delicious! Highly recommended!

27/11/2025: We had a wonderful stay. The pool is large and really warm – even in the colder months. The service and friendliness of the hosts are exceptional, so I'm definitely giving it 5 stars. The only thing I didn't like "perfectly" was the dining room; I prefer a bit more privacy with more space between the tables, but that's really a minor point. You can easily reach some great hiking trails directly from the hotel, and the view is beautiful. We'll definitely be back!

03/06/2026: Truly excellent value for money. Being right in the center of Montalcino, I'd highly recommend it. The place isn't the most aesthetically pleasing, but the quality/price ratio is commendable. A positive note also goes to the staff (we were looked after by a young man with a long beard and no hair). Despite being short, I think, at least two members for the day ahead, they managed to handle the large crowd in more or less adequate time and always with courtesy.

31/05/2026: We were lucky enough to find the last free table on a Saturday night: the crowds never lie. Special and delicious dishes, a casual atmosphere, friendly staff, and fair prices: the best ingredients for a holiday meal. Try the saffron tripe. Recommended.
