14/05/2025: Vinimos aquí en 2019 para hacer la experiencia de la escuela de cocina y la pasamos de maravilla, el punto culminante de nuestra semana en Italia. Esta fue nuestra primera vez de vuelta - esta vez solo para el almuerzo - y seis años después la experiencia fue igual de buena. El entorno es idílico, con vistas a Montalcino por debajo y en los viñedos distantes. Las mesas ahora están todas afuera, debajo de un dosel (lo que era importante porque el día soleado se convirtió en un aguacero más tarde). La comida era excelente y en porciones que significa que se puede obtener un aperitivo, plato de pasta y un postre sin sentirse demasiado lleno (nos saltamos el “principal” sin embargo). El flan de zanahoria y los entrantes de bruschetta eran magníficos. Para el plato de pasta elegimos el tagliatelle con un ragout de jabalí y los raviolis de parmigiano con ragout de conejo, ambos excelentes. De postre tuvimos un pastel de queso de caramelo y avellana y una panna cotta, ambos muy buenos y muy bien servidos con flores comestibles. El servicio era bueno, atento y amable. El precio era muy razonable para la calidad de la comida servida y la ubicación de ensueño. Fabuloso todo el día.

08/06/2025: The staff is very friendly, service-minded, polite and attentive. The food is just delicious. They have menus in many different languages, which we believe is quite rare in such small towns. The ribollita soup was the best we tasted during our two weeks in Tuscany. We also had a pasta dish with rocket and nettle - yummy! Very pleasant experience, and a highly recommended restaurant.

24/05/2025: Atmosphere is off the charts. Food is incredible. Wine is annoyingly good and the couple who runs the restaurant are legends. 🙌🏼 5 stars is not enough.

14/05/2025: It is the only restaurant where we ate during our stay in Montalcino, but I have no doubt that it is the best ever. From the first moment we felt at home. Alessandro welcomed us with warmth and passion, explaining each dish in detail, sharing the history of the wines and the places with contagious enthusiasm. The restaurant also has a splendid terrace, perfect for enjoying the view in a relaxed and authentic atmosphere. The environment is familiar and welcoming, with attention to the smallest details. The food is simply extraordinary: genuine flavors, quality ingredients and perfect pairings with local wines. It was a real pleasure to discover this special corner of Montalcino, and we can't wait to return. Thank you so much, Alessandro!

28/04/2025: Siamo andati in questo ristorante consigliato dal B&B in cui pernottavamo. È stata una bella e piacevole sorpresa. La location è particolare ed accogliente e sembra di fare un viaggio nel passato! Il È un ristorante a gestione familiare e propone, grazie ai consigli del "signor cameriere" (così lo avevamo soprannominato, vista l'eleganza che presentava), un menù di pochi piatti ma veramente ricercati e deliziosi. Solo per indicarne un paio, consiglio il tortino come antipasto e il peposo, ma ci sarebbe da divertirsi ad assaggiare tutto. Dopo questa prima esperienza, siamo ritornati anche la sera successiva. Lo scrivo giusto per completezza, i prezzi sono giusti ed economici: ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Ovviamente conviene prenotare. Per chi è celiaco come me, non ci sono problemi in quanto basta farlo presente e anche i primi possono essere fatti senza glutine. Una goduria unica. Buon viaggio culinario!

02/06/2025: A real gem in the heart of Montalcino! The wine shop offers typical Tuscan dishes prepared with care and local ingredients of the highest quality. The Brunello di Montalcino served was simply exceptional, perfect to accompany dinner. Warm atmosphere, impeccable service. Absolutely to try!

30/04/2025: We wanted to eat Fiorentina steak — an excellent place in a secluded, small village. The wine list is quite excellent, with a good number of local options. All the food was fine, the atmosphere is pleasant, I recommend it to everyone!

20/05/2025: Unfortunately, we didn’t find the food to be very good. My pasta was overcooked, and although I ordered tomato soup, I was served chickpea soup instead. The service in the restaurant was also disappointing – the waiter didn’t have time to properly attend to us and simply dropped the plates on our table without any interaction.

26/04/2025: Un restaurante muy acogedor. Fuimos al viñedo antes de nuestro almuerzo y la dueña (mujer manejada) también tiene su restaurante en el centro de la ciudad. Es un lugar muy acogedor y la comida hecha en casa! Definitivamente lo recomendaría! Servicio y buena comida!
