18/03/2025: Excellent food, the Livorno-style cod was delicious, and the prices were average. We had a fried artichoke, a picio cacio pepe e tartufo, a cod, two desserts, half a liter of house wine, water, and coffee. We spent €60. I'd go back.

03/05/2025: Delicious ice creams and true passion, every now and then we take my grandfather (recovering from a cerebral hemorrhage... therefore a difficult character to manage) to eat a cup... and the girl with glasses (unfortunately I don't know her name) with great sweetness and hours always waits for us with great care. The ice creams are amazing and very delicious.😋

04/07/2025: Artimino, a timeless jewel. We visited the village with my wife M.A. Medici, a descendant of the historic family, admiring the elegant Villa Medicea dei Cento Camini, built around 1600 at the behest of Grand Duke Ferdinando I. It was a pleasure to walk through the narrow streets rich in history and enjoy the view from the highest point of the hill. Today Artimino is a charming village, with a center organized as a widespread hotel, few inhabitants and few premises, an original model of hospitality. Unfortunately, the welcome was spoiled by an unpleasant episode: arriving late in the evening after a long journey, we turned to the Bertuzzi Restaurant/Bar, crowded with customers and active staff. Despite this, the owner — with rude manners — refused us even a simple cold cutting board, claiming that the kitchen was closed. Later, passing by again, we noticed that the service continued fully. At that point I expressed my disappointment in a civil manner, pointing out that a little courtesy would have been enough to avoid making a bad impression. It is a shame that such an attitude could compromise the image of such a beautiful place, ruining the experience of other visitors.

08/07/2025: Very basic bar, but in terms of decor, as it is typical of the 70s/80s, where they do pan pizza, exceptional schiacciatine. Today I had an excellent fantasy egg salad. Particularly modest prices. For those who have expectations for what matters in catering, the food, I would say it is a 10.

Yesterday I celebrated my little one's baptism and I want to thank the little village for the attention they had for us!! Always available and kind staff, not to mention the truly excellent food!! Young, polite, helpful staff. Above all they always had attention to detail!! I highly recommend it as a place!! We will definitely be back!! You can see that they work with love, this makes the difference ❤️Thank you.

25/06/2025: An experience to forget, twice out of two. Let me start by saying that I am a great lover of the Margarita cocktail: I know how it should be made, and I can immediately distinguish when it is prepared with care... or when it is just a parody. Unfortunately, here I found precisely the second case. I had already been to this place on the occasion of a social lunch. Although the place is visually pleasant, the food turned out to be very mediocre and the service anything but courteous, with waiters often surly and unhelpful. I decided to give it a second chance, hoping that the aperitif could redeem the experience. Unfortunately, it went even worse. They made us pay in advance, only us (something I did not see at the other tables) - a gesture that I found not only incorrect but also disrespectful. The Margarita? Made very badly: completely unbalanced, without equilibrium, it seemed improvised by someone who has no idea how to prepare it. The other cocktails my friends ordered also left everyone dissatisfied. The service confirmed my first impression: fake smiles, forced attitude, that kind of interaction that conveys more annoyance than welcome. In short: a place that looks nice, but completely lacks substance, passion and respect for the customer. I will not return a third time, and I cannot recommend it in any way. To those reading: there are better places, more authentic and with truly hospitable staff. Don't waste your time (and money) here.
