31/05/2026: Very friendly staff. Typical Tuscan dishes revisited with a modern twist. Excellent pairings, even if they seem daring at first glance (reading the menu), excellent food. Excellent wine selection, also carefully selected outside of the traditional labels. A place to return to.

22/07/2026: I'm not used to writing reviews, and I don't do it because I don't want to influence people, either positively or negatively... it's right that everyone judges for themselves, but this time I feel like making a comment. Last night, dinner for two: I chose an appetizer of fried flowers stuffed with mozzarella and anchovies, reminding me of when I used to eat them many years ago at my mother's house... I received four "meatballs" (because that's the shape) made of a very large batter, with a flower inside that obviously couldn't have been crispy because it was trapped in the batter, with a sort of creamy sauce that looked more like anchovy paste than actual anchovies... OK. I ate the inner flower with the "creamy sauce" and left the batter casing... then I ordered the boneless fried chicken country-style with fried vegetables. So... frozen vegetables (even if they're properly asterisked on the menu), but if you're talking about typical Tuscan cuisine, leave the bags of frozen vegetables at the supermarket and fry them fresh. The chicken: dark brown morsels. As soon as I bite into one, I taste a very strong flavor, and I decide, along with the vegetables, not to eat it. The first waitress, very nice, asks me if I wanted anything else, and that she'll make it right away. I thank her and say it doesn't matter. After a while, she comes back and tells me that the chef tasted the fried food and said it was good... okay... The waitress, who was the last to clear the plates, asks me if everything was okay, but I tell her that if I were the chef, I wouldn't have sent the fried food that dark. She replies like this: it's our breading, it's not the oil's fault... okay... apart from the fact that they might be using rye bread, because it was really dark, but what really annoyed me was that I, always so nicely, told her: okay, the breading, but when you bring fried food to the table it needs to be nice and light, not too dark. She replies: I like it dark, light fried food tastes bland to me... so I, at 66 years old—in fact, I'll be 67 in a month and a half—have to hear such nonsense from a know-it-all girl, who gets face-to-face with the customer who then has to pay??? Among other things, there's a QR code for the wine list, which once scanned, didn't meet my needs, so I asked if they had a rosé prosecco, which wasn't listed... they brought it to me... I thought it was a Ludovika, but it wasn't prosecco... it was a sparkling wine, warm at that, even though they brought an ice bucket later. I went to pay, and very kindly and professionally, they took the fried chicken off the bill. Thank you. The receipt, however, has the grand total, and I'll never know how much I paid for that rosé sparkling wine... although doing the math, I think it was around 27 euros. Oh well. Too bad because yesterday I chose you to celebrate an important anniversary... oh well... it happens... but to me, damn it...

08/07/2026: Really enjoyed a great meal here on a first night in Prato. Our 730 reservation made us the first table (tired after travel!) but the staff were kind, accommodating our poor Italian. The food was plentiful and tasty. It was nice to sit outside despite the bees being a bit aggressive. Definitely recommend for a nice meal!

30/06/2026: Beautiful location, excellent food and service but thinking of organising events outside in the heat of these summers under a tent structure without any type of cooling or ventilation ruins everything else and risks ruining the events.

17/06/2026: For those who think they can eat gelato by buying it in supermarkets or at 90% of the city's gelato shops, you can do something useful in life and try gelato at this place, opened and run by someone who has made gelato a passion for the highest quality and unparalleled selection of seasonal or typical ingredients year-round, to produce something that will linger in your mouth forever. Blackberry that feels like chewing a handful of freshly picked blackberries, hazelnut and pistachio that you could eat a kilo of without ever removing your makeup, and a whole series of original flavors like Gorgonzola that you'd never think could even add flavor to gelato, leaving a delicate sensation in your mouth of something new and familiar from other dishes at the same time. Gero and his wife, by the way, are lovely people who simply want to sell you their passion with sincerity and honesty, often organizing special events related to eating atomic gelato for true connoisseurs.
