01/09/2025: A wide selection of pizzas at more than reasonable prices! And the homemade millefeuille is exquisite! Nothing to say about the welcome and service... one small drawback: the Italians always speak very loudly, especially the Tuscans (but the accent is very pleasant). Luckily, it's quieter when they're eating!

20/09/2025: First class views of the lake but despicable low quality food. Not Italian style. Revolting actually. Both our meals were tasteless. Staff dirty tee shirts and obviously not caring enough to serve quality. Do not recommend. There are many lovely restaurants in the same town.

17/07/2025: È il ristorante della pensione Alassio. Molto piacevole l'ambiente, wifi molto scarso. Cucina solo di carne, con piatti nella media. All'inizio offrono un assaggino apprezzabile. Conto sui 45 eur a testa senza vino.

12/07/2025: Siamo stati Dal Mi' Cecio per una cena in coppia ed è stata una bellissima esperienza. Il locale ha un'atmosfera calda e intima, e la veranda all'aperto è il posto perfetto per godersi una cena rilassante. A rendere l’ambiente ancora più piacevole, della buona musica di sottofondo, che accompagna la serata senza mai disturbare. La prima cosa che colpisce è il menù strutturato in due parti tra piatti della tradizione e proposte più innovative, pensato per soddisfare tutti i gusti. Siamo stati accolti con una entrée di panzanella, fresca e saporita, accompagnata da un ottimo prosecco che ha aperto la cena nel modo migliore. A seguire, un tagliere con pasta fritta e salumi davvero gustosi, e un tris di crostini ben assortiti, tra cui merita una menzione speciale quello ai legumi, equilibrato e dal sapore rustico ma delicato. Come primo abbiamo scelto le tagliatelle al sugo di cinghiale con salsa ai frutti di bosco, che si è rivelato il piatto sorpresa della serata: una combinazione insolita ma perfettamente riuscita, dove la dolcezza dei frutti di bosco esaltava il sapore intenso della carne. Per secondo, una tagliata al rosmarino cotta alla perfezione: morbida, succosa, si scioglieva letteralmente in bocca. Il servizio è stato impeccabile nonostante il locale fosse pieno ed è evidente la passione e la cura che il ristorante mette sia nella cucina che nell’esperienza complessiva. Dal Mi’ Cecio è un perfetto equilibrio tra innovazione e tradizione, in un contesto elegante ed accogliente, a due passi dal centro di Montecatini Terme. Consigliatissimo per una serata speciale, romantica o tra amici!

21/12/2025: We participated in an organized Sunday with cookie baking and a farm tour. It was so cute. The entertainment staff was also present, and the girls did a fantastic job getting all the kids, both big and small, to make cookies. The animals include alpacas, goats, pigs, two horses, and two donkeys. There are also several chickens and rabbits. At the top of the farm, there's also a very cute little adventure park/playground nestled in the woods, and a playground next to where you eat, which is also very nice. It might be a bit inconvenient for strollers because it's on the side of the mountain and therefore steep, but I recommend planning ahead and going!

13/12/2025: Stefania and Serena are extraordinary hosts. The place is a gem of an agritourism in the Montalbano hills, and unlike many agritourisms, it wasn't born out of chance, but from an idea and the owners' determination to pursue it. They actually bought this place and renovated it; love shines through even the bricks.

19/12/2025: I called about the set Christmas menu, and when I asked for a vegetarian option, I was told it wasn't possible. And when I replied, "Nothing then, goodbye," I was even told, "Oh well, never mind," in a sarcastic tone... in 2025, almost 2026, absurd to say the least.

02/11/2025: We had a dinner that was nothing short of spectacular!!!!!!! The restaurant is truly beautiful, the atmosphere is welcoming and warm, the girl who served us was very nice. The food was nothing short of amazing!!! We had a truly excellent Tuscan platter and the ribollita!! Really really good!! In fact, I would say amazing!! And then the meat!! Honestly, I lack the words to describe it because it was a heavenly experience!! Cooked perfectly, seasoned just right, it melted in your mouth, accompanied by perfectly cooked baked potatoes!! I just feel like saying go there because you won't find better meat around!! Everything was top!!!

14/09/2025: Recently visited this charming little bar located conveniently near the University of Messina. As expected for the area, you'll find plenty of students frequenting this spot, creating a lively academic atmosphere. Space & Seating: The bar is quite compact with limited seating, so if you're planning to visit with a larger group, I'd recommend arriving early or being prepared to wait. During daytime hours, the outdoor seating can get quite sunny, making indoor spots more comfortable. Service & Staff: The service was pleasant, with friendly male and female bartenders who were professional and accommodating throughout my visit. I ordered the Crema di Caffè with Panna, which offered good value for money in terms of both quality and portion size. While it was enjoyable and reasonably priced, I wouldn't say it's the absolute best Crema di Caffè you'll find in Messina – but certainly worth trying. Overall: A decent neighborhood spot that's definitely worth a try if you're walking through this area of Messina. While it has some limitations in terms of space and the sweetness level of certain items, the friendly service and reasonable prices make it a solid choice for a quick coffee break, especially if you're in the university district. Recommended for: Students, coffee lovers, quick stops, solo visits

30/11/2025: No, I didn't like the pizza, chewy, rubbery, the tomato was sour, actually very sour. Out of respect for those who work, I rarely leave negative reviews, but here I was almost disappointed. I had wanted to go for a long time and I was deeply disappointed. I had a half-meter large pizza, a simple margherita, "luckily." Even my partner left it on the table more than halfway, the crust said it was not edible, cold and rubbery, nothing come on... I always see it full and that's the essential thing for them, I'm happy for them that people go there anyway... I didn't like it at all, but I'm worth a 1 and I think my review, even if negative, remains an end in itself. The coffee was very bad, even that seemed like barley because it was so watery...

21/10/2025: Welcoming place, very noisy, almost impossible to converse. We were there on Saturday 18th October 25th at 8.30pm, it was very crowded, we were 6 people, we took 3 platters of mixed cold cuts and various cheeses and pizzas, all very good, the pizzas are the best, highly recommended.

04/10/2025: Unfortunately, we had an unpleasant experience. Unpresentable appetizers. Overcooked spaghetti with seafood. We reported it and they acknowledged that the dishes were unpresentable. Despite the fact that out of nine people, only one ate, and she ordered a Catalana (the only good dish). €35 per person, not including dinner! I'm sorry, but I strongly advise against it.

06/10/2025: It was a great experience. I arrived after the restaurant was closed but the owner opened it just for me! Gianlucca is really a kind and welcoming person he even gave me a ride back to the station because it’s far and I looked tired. Thanks Gianlucca you really made my day!

23/11/2025: Pizzeria where 4 people work Two roll out and prepare the pizzas, one bakes the pizza, one serves at the counter. The locals are lacking in courtesy. We ate there. My pizza was missing an ingredient, so whatever. We can do without it. You go to get two more slices of pizza because the pizza is so thin that you need four to fill up. No one cares about you because you have to wait in line. So if there are ten people waiting for takeout pizzas, what do we do? When the person baking while waiting to take the pizzas out could be serving, it takes 10 seconds to give you a slice. A smile... not at all. Never again. Goodbye.

05/01/2026: I'm hesitant to write this review, but I wanted to point it out. It happened on December 20, 2025, at a birthday party. A waitress fell with the beers and stained my jacket. Okay, it happens, but the laundry is fixed. However, the staff should have been more careful when cleaning the floors, because a girl on crutches from another birthday party next to us slipped and seriously injured herself. Otherwise, everything was fine, except for a small mix-up with the order involving the wrong pizza, but nothing major.
