04/06/2026: The butcher shop offers very friendly service, plenty of samples, and excellent sausages and meats at very fair prices. They also sell a selection of fine wines and gourmet foods.

20/05/2026: We visited the butcher and were able to sample a wide variety of specialties. Appropriate wine was served to accompany the meats. Highly recommended!

19/05/2026: My absolute favorite restaurant that I visited in Italy and if you love truffle so it's the perfect place. Family owned, local people, no one speaks English but you'll manage. Amazing food and service ❤️

26/06/2026: Yesterday, June 25, we had dinner at this very nice restaurant, with two people. We chose the fish tasting menu. While I was eating one of the first courses, mixed pasta in fish soup, I noticed foreign objects in my mouth, which turned out to be fragments/shards of tableware. We brought this to the attention of the waitress, who noted the shards. We are dismayed to note that at the end of the meal, we received no apologies from either the chef or the management.

18/06/2026: One of the more memorable experiences while dining in Italy - apetizers were tasty (Latvians love marinated herring, I never thought it could be made so rich), the main course of beef fillet had a great sauce & crust, and the local wine tied it all together. The location and views are well worth the drive, its cosy, the garden is beautiful and the owner is very hands-on, making it a pleasant and educational experience for the guests. Dont skip this place, imo, the 4.5 is misleading, inherited from the previous owners.

10/06/2026: Excellent raw materials. Both the cold cuts and the truffles. I would have liked the cold cuts to be a little more generous. Anyway, I'd go back.

06/06/2026: THE CHEF WAS IN LOVE ;) Unfortunately, the pici with wild boar ragout were a bit too salty. The rest was very good.

10/06/2026: Best coffee in San Miniato ! And of course the best "cornetto ripieno" and " pastine". Very nuce atmosphere inside and outside, especially with the morning view of the Piazza with the same name. If you want to feel the italian vibrant life go in the morning and have a coffee outside !

28/06/2026: Wow, wow, wow. What a treat I had here this evening. Fabulous Fabio reserved a table for me, what a lovely guy. Friendly, helpful, kind. Sat me down and course after course just got better and better. The Nero spaghetti, the veal - super tender, falling apart, the canolo dessert topped it all, literally the cherry on the cake. I will be back to try the other delights they have. Thank you team, for a very special memorable evening. Another evening and another sublime starter/first course/second course. The gnocchi was superb, cushions of love, so soft with a delicious pea sauce, the Baccalà was super delicate and was falling apart with my spoon. I'm in love with this restaurant. Big shout out to the super talented Hector and Fabio , who orchestrates the magic front of house.

The interior is well-maintained, but the outdoor gazebos are a huge plus, especially in Tuscany, allowing you to enjoy the climate and scenery in complete relaxation. The cuisine is excellent, faithful to the local tradition; you can't go wrong with quality ingredients and traditional recipes. Highly recommended!
