12/11/2025: The space is small, but as soon as you enter, you're captivated by the shelves laden with wine bottles, an open-view wine bar, and the aroma of meat, both cooked and raw.
The staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

And what an appetizer!
14/01/2026: My boyfriend and I went to this tavern for the first time. We were amazed by the quality and quantity of the dishes!
To start, we had the Ozio appetizer, which was incredibly generous, with a taste of fried brain added. This was followed by tagliolini with truffle, made with lactose-free butter (which we brought from home as agreed) due to my intolerance. My boyfriend opted for tortellini filled with cacio e pepe and truffle.
For dessert, we had chocolate salami and cantuccini with vin santo (lactose-free).
We were delighted from appetizer to dessert.
The waitresses were super helpful and friendly, and knew how to accommodate us from the very beginning.
We will definitely be back.

16/01/2026: Good food, young, friendly, and helpful staff! The atmosphere is informal, clean, and well-organized. There aren't any crowded tables; the walls are lined with paintings that you'll have to pay a little attention to, as they're worth a visit. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
11/01/2026: Fantastic dinner! We arrived without a reservation and a very kind waitress brought us to our table. We tried the white truffle pasta & the black truffle pasta, it was fantastic! The service was great, food was great, and the ambiance was great.
Of course I finished the meal with amaro and a cafe. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

03/01/2026: A truly fantastic experience. Let me start by saying we only had lunch at the restaurant, and I was truly impressed by the location and the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff. As soon as you step inside, you immediately feel at ease in a homey atmosphere where hospitality is unparalleled. The dishes are traditional and carefully prepared. We tried the tagliolini with white truffle, recommended by Chef Francesco, and I must say it was amazing. We will definitely return to Collebrunacchi to stop at this restaurant, which is truly worth a visit. I highly recommend it to truffle lovers, and my compliments once again to the Chef.

12/10/2025: Unfortunately, we were disappointed. Some dishes were incredibly overly salty, and we sent one
first course back. It was added to our bill. It's not a financial issue, but if I spend money, I expect quality food and service.
It's a shame because other dishes were worth it. We won't be returning.

28/12/2025: A pleasant discovery in the Piazza del Duomo in San Miniato. The service is excellent, combining courtesy with savoir faire. The egg with potato cream, pecorino cheese, and truffle was excellent, as was the creamed cod. It's worth noting that I also found the coffee to be good (often, even in high-end restaurants, I've been served disgustingly sloppy broth). The restrooms are very clean.
21/12/2025: We chose the fish menu with matching wines, a culinary poem, one dish after another. Thanks to those in the kitchen who gave us this tasty journey of taste! A round of applause to the very knowledgeable and kind staff in the dining room.

11/01/2026: I ordered the grey pork shank and it was spectacular, the best meat I've ever eaten, perfectly cooked and a good portion. Finally, for dessert, I had the cream sundae and it was also spectacular. The staff was very kind. Thank you for making me eat so well in such a pleasant atmosphere. I will gladly return to try other dishes. Thank you so much.

05/01/2026: We often come here for lunch because it's convenient.
The bread alone is worth it; it's made by them, and for me, it's the best I've ever had. They always bring it to you piping hot.
The lunch menu is very affordable, despite the quality being MUCH higher than the price. The menu always offers a wide selection (kudos to the chef for his creativity and variety).
I've tried several dishes and have never been disappointed; the portions are generous and the food is high-quality. The waitress is always super nice to us; she's even learned our tastes by now.
Highly recommended!!
23/12/2025: First course, second course, side dish, all of more than acceptable quality, water and coffee all served at a well-laid table with a tablecloth and cloth napkin, express dishes with condiments on the table available until the end of the meal... all for only €15... I don't think there's any need to add anything else... in any fast-food restaurant with this amount I would have eaten a sandwich and a drink... maybe

15/01/2026: A great find. The place is small and well-maintained, with welcoming staff. The menu offers several reasonably priced options. I tried the €39 set menu with appetizers (the prosciutto was delicious) and steak. The fact that I left with a full stomach is a clear sign that I had a great time and would return.

Carnivorous menu, three different but very high-quality tartares + a steak that was pure poetry of taste.
Honorable mention for the background music: Aerosmith - Thin Lizzy - Dire Streets - Jethro Tull - The Boss - The Who to name a few, in short, a delight.

A young waiter guided us through the wine and dish selections and pampered us throughout the evening. Congratulations!!! The prices are more than fair and consistent with what's on offer.

Terrible service and rude waiter: we weren't told we'd have to leave the table at 9:30 PM, so the dishes arrived all at once, not in the order indicated when ordering.
If you go to Matera, there are many traditional restaurants in the Sassi district where kindness and customer service are definitely top priorities.
