01/10/2025: I had a lovely dinner at this restaurant with my husband. I had heard great things about it, and I have to say that the dinner—or rather, the experience—exceeded my expectations. It's hard to describe the explosion (literally) of flavors in every course. Flavors and combinations, sometimes unusual, but always perfect! Everything was excellent! The service was also excellent, impeccable in its attention to detail and attentiveness! The atmosphere was elegant yet warm! You'd expect a place like this in Milan or London—a real gem in the heart of San Miniato. Compliments to the chef! It's truly on another level! We'll be back.

12/11/2025: The space is small, but as soon as you enter, you're captivated by the shelves laden with wine bottles, an open-view wine bar, and the aroma of meat, both cooked and raw. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

03/11/2025: We went to eat truffles, but these were of terrible quality. Each course lacked their aroma. The tagliolini tasted of butter, not white truffle. We paid €50 for a tagliolini and €33 for a tartare. We'll never go back. Don't go there for the truffles.

26/10/2025: Expectations were very high, and perhaps that's why they were disappointed. The first course, pioppini mushrooms and oxtail, didn't convince me. I proceeded with the egg yolk with truffle... too bad the truffle wasn't very fragrant and the dish arrived cold. Compliments to the service. Impeccable. I recommend cleaning up the dust buildup on the corrigati in the kitchen... it's not at all hygienic. I won't post the photo out of decency.

20/12/2025: A spectacle if you love truffles... obviously you can also eat dishes without buts... you go there for the truffles... there were 6 of us, the trio of first courses was excellent, including tagliolini, tortellini and ravioli filled with truffles, and some truly spectacular second courses, including a venison and snails dish, which were really good... the wine was also excellent... bitters and grappas with coffee at the end, we avoided the starters... but we had a good side dish of mushrooms and fried artichokes... try it because it's worth it... and book in advance because the wait is long... there's a large parking space, there's a huge square in front of a sports field... they accept cards and issue invoices... no problem for disabled people to enter...

08/12/2025: I ended up here for a relative's wedding, and the location is beautiful, the restaurant top-notch, and the service from all the staff is impeccable, attentive, and top-notch. I'd give it 11 stars if it were possible!

27/11/2025: Everything was excellent, from the appetizer to the white chocolate and truffle mousse. We always come here during the San Miniato truffle fair and we always eat excellently. The staff is courteous and attentive. The atmosphere is welcoming and intimate, with just a few tables but very characteristic and tastefully furnished.

08/12/2025: Excellent service and an amazing atmosphere! The warmth and hospitality here truly stand out and make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The pasta is outstanding, the fries are authentic, and the food as a whole is simply unforgettable — the kind of dishes you remember because they’re just that good. And they have great vegan options! Highly recommended!

30/11/2025: I'd heard great things about this restaurant, and my expectations were fully confirmed. We ate truly delicious Tuscan cuisine: sincere, fresh, understandable, and never banal. The wine list is truly intriguing, with many gems at the right price point, allowing you to have fun and experiment. A "modern" trattoria where you'll gladly return, and the atmosphere is always pleasant, familiar, and relaxed. Thanks to Francesco, who let us taste two incredible wines; it was a gesture we greatly appreciated. See you soon.

12/10/2025: Unfortunately, we were disappointed. Some dishes were incredibly overly salty, and we sent one first course back. It was added to our bill. It's not a financial issue, but if I spend money, I expect quality food and service. It's a shame because other dishes were worth it. We won't be returning.

26/09/2025: Olivum is my favorite restaurant. At least once every change of season, I go to this enchanting place to taste delicacies that create a symphony. I was there in the fall of 2025 and I still remember that mushroom appetizer with multiple textures; the most delicious and amazing dish I've ever eaten. I was there again in the summer of 2025. Here, you can enjoy a tasting of land, sea, or a five-course special, including dessert. The chef manages to enhance the flavors of each dish. The price is more than fair for the quality. Even the bread basket is wonderful! Not just bread and schiacciata, but also small assorted pastry treats. I return often and will continue to return. Congratulations 👏

05/12/2025: Saturday dinner. Not entirely packed. There were two of us, a table near the front door. It was really cold outside, and every time the door opened, it got really cold. Next to us was an empty table for two, and next to that (against the wall) were two people who left after five minutes. We asked if they'd move us, but they wouldn't, saying they'd have to connect the two tables to make a table for four. They could just connect ours to the one next to it and we could move to the one against the wall. Oh well. The two pizzas we ordered arrived an hour and twenty minutes later (an hour and twenty minutes!), and just as we were about to finish, the four from the tables next to ours arrived, and they started them right away. Oh well. The pizzas were good, that much must be acknowledged. The dough in particular was very light. A shame. Overall, a very negative experience.

08/12/2025: Excellent restaurant. Everything was delicious, and you enjoyed your lunch. Then you learned that it's the only Slow Food Presidium in the province, and that most of the ingredients are organic and locally sourced. We chose the tagliolini with truffle and spent accordingly, but the quality/price ratio was truly excellent.

07/10/2025: I rarely give bad reviews, and this was no different in this case... I've never had a bad meal in Italy...unfortunately, this is the first time I've had one. In the latest Tuscany travel guide (Müller Verlag), this restaurant, a little outside and remote from San Miniato, is touted as a good truffle restaurant. My husband ordered beef tartare with truffles as an appetizer, and we both ordered pasta with truffles for our main course. Surprisingly, the appetizer and my main course were brought out at the same time...(in retrospect, that was a good thing for us, as we ended up canceling the second portion of truffle pasta). The beef tartar was completely unseasoned, neither salted nor peppered, and the truffle topping was absolutely flavorless, which is an absolute feat, as truffles are normally highly aromatic and intense, and we've had the pleasure of enjoying this very special specialty in many restaurants... The truffle pasta was covered under a hood, which was then aired... a strange smell (at first, I had a chlorine scent) wafted up... I thought it might be from the freshly washed dishes... water in Italy is occasionally slightly chlorinated, and possibly the pasta was cooked in chlorinated water... no idea... in any case, it wasn't the expected scent of fresh truffles!!! The pasta was al dente, but not particularly high-quality pasta; the surface was smooth; there are better options. The sauce was tiny in quantity, and the generous amount of truffle shaved over it (summer truffle, by the looks of it...) smelled or tasted absolutely nothing like truffles. (As I said, an art with such a highly aromatic ingredient... the chef must have noticed it when shaving it over...) The service was reservedly friendly, but the option to cancel the second portion of truffle pasta was very nice, thank you for that. The restaurant itself is set in a beautiful garden and pleasantly secluded; anyone can find it using Google Maps. There's a large parking lot. Maybe we were just unlucky... what a pity, we were so looking forward to a delicious truffle experience to round off our vacation... Generally on the higher side, which isn't a problem for us if the quality is right... but not for what we were offered, I'm disappointed... 1x truffle beef tartar, 1x truffle linguini, including 1 glass of white wine (by the glass, it was very good) and 1 bottle of still water, for a reasonable €61. If I could give zero stars, I would... sorry. P.S.: The dining room (lots of cobwebs...) is in dire need of cleaning... and I'm really not picky... even in a country inn, cobwebs aren't part of the atmosphere... My response to the owner's expected unfriendly reaction: Best regards, Mr. Stefano! I can only judge what I consumed, and that, of course, isn't the entire menu on my first visit... I certainly wasn't imagining that first smell; I have a good nose... but let's leave it at that... The fact is, the truffles didn't smell or taste even remotely like truffles... perhaps they were old or smoked out, it can happen... Looking at their reactions to criticism, however, they urgently need to attend a seminar on conflict management and dealing with customer criticism. As soon as customers point out deficiencies, they immediately become personal, even insulting, in their conversation... does that really have to be? An excellent restaurant is characterized by politeness, courtesy, and a good tone in EVERY SITUATION, especially when criticism is being offered. Nobody's perfect... not even their establishment... and who says we won't come back? Everyone gets a second chance with me!

14/11/2025: High-quality restaurant in a beautiful location in Piazza del Duomo, next to the Tower of Frederick II, with a view of much of the lower Valdagno from the restaurant windows. Classic/modern cuisine, truffles in season.

12/12/2025: I expected much, much more, looking at the website and especially considering that all the truffle dishes were starting at €30. Overall, it wasn't bad, but ultimately, it was just a simple trattoria, nothing special!

11/12/2025: I don't think I'll ever go back. I ordered tagliolini with truffle for €35.00, and they had cream in the middle. I'm allergic to lactose, and I was sick all night! Not only that, but the cream is disgusting—maybe butter, but cream! Ugh! My partner ordered pici all'aglione, but I assure you there wasn't any garlic, just garlic, so strong and persistent that you couldn't stand to be near it; chemicals have that effect! In my opinion, if you want to try truffles, go somewhere else! They're poor quality and overpriced: two fried eggs that smell like truffles cost €35.00! Aren't they ashamed?
