05/04/2024: Really good! Small restaurant in the center of Lucca. Chef Gabriele and his wife Giulia welcome customers in a friendly and competent way. Very good dishes with a touch of particularity that are now difficult to find and certainly of quality! We stayed with friends and we will definitely return as soon as possible.

02/04/2024: We ate for lunch on a Sunday, there was only 1 table with 6 people. The food was not of quality and we paid too much!! Desserts €8 each!! I don't recommend it

05/03/2024: That day was a semicaos, lots of people waiting for a seat at the table, they recommend booking in advance, for me the pizza was normal, the service I think was due to the number of customers was just above enough, the girls made a bit of mistakes with the dishes, the drinking etc, I repeat perhaps due to the quantity of people.

01/04/2024: My favorite pizzeria in Lucca. A different style from the rest of the pizzerias with great flavor. The costs are reasonable. The waitresses are very nice and the service they provide is good.

07/03/2024: Nice, warm and welcoming place, the only flaw if you want to look is that it has a very large room and therefore as in all these types of places there is quite a bit of background noise. They make Roman Pizzas Focacce Pinse and Cecina which, when tasted as an appetizer, is very good, perhaps a little thin but still retains a crunchy outside and a soft center, as I like it. The traditional, i.e. low-cut, pizzas are really good, the various ingredients that garnish them can clearly be distinguished, each with their own good flavour. The tomato is declared among the top commercial ones and it really is, excellent. For desserts they rely on Bindi, therefore semifreddos but still good and well served. Leffe on tap which is a guarantee. The coffee is also good. The staff are all attentive and kind. Prices in my opinion are average and still honest. Advised.

27/03/2024: I went alone for lunch on a Friday in February for a pizza and beer, everything was excellent, thank goodness I arrived early because then it filled up. Very friendly and welcoming staff, even though I was alone they made me feel at ease

25/03/2024: Ancient trattoria from Lucca, the waiters and Luca (chef and I presume owner) were a spectacle. Kind, thoughtful, nice and very good. Very good tordelli and lasagna, the cut is heaven. Reservation is always recommended.

17/02/2024: Locale non molto curato o comunque non come mi aspettavo per come viene venduto ( opere d’arte mmm non proprio purtroppo ) un po’ troppo confusionario. Potrebbe essere sistemato meglio ma tralasciando questo che alla fine poco importa purtroppo il menu non all’altezza del prezzo. Si presentano le cameriere molto gentili e offrono un entree di tapioca accompagnata da due salse una ai pomodori secchi e una al cavolo , e questo devo dire la cosa più buona mangiata. Tagliere di salumi contenente solo due salumi : Un Prosciutto spagnolo ( non sono molto convinta che lo sia stato , molto salato ) , salame toscano molto commerciale . Tagliere di formaggi , su questo niente da dire , nella media ma sicuramente non rispecchia la qualità / prezzo. Purtroppo i due primi che abbiamo preso sono la problematica più grossa: Cacio e pepe decisamente salata , sembrava più una cacio e sale . Capisco che il pecorino romano può essere più o meno sapido ma dovrebbe essere cura dello chef aggiustare la sapidità del piatto. I bottoni alla guancia di maiale su crema di patate , purtroppo avevano un sapore strano, di guance ne ho mangiate nella mia vita ma mai avuto un sapore così . Davvero molto forte. La crema di patate aveva un’aggiunta di limone oltre al fondo della guancia e purtroppo il limone sovrastava tutto il piatto. Come si dice purtroppo o per fortuna riusciva a togliere il retrogusto lasciato dal bottone. Il vino bevuto buono . Mi spiace ma non ritorneremo.

02/04/2024: Lucca city center close to the most famous Museum of the city. Nice and supportive service and food.

31/03/2024: Convivial place, typical family atmosphere and extreme kindness. We ordered the meatballs as an appetizer and it was all uphill from there. The rosticciana was delicious as were the desserts, homemade (and I know you can tell by the flavour)... It's so worth it.
