19/03/2024: It is located in Matraia in our hills of Lucca... it is called Le Colonne because it has a large portico between the columns, where in summer you can enjoy a wonderful view.....a very clean and nice environment, excellent service and ....if you want to eat pigeon, pigeon tagliatelle, delicious grilled cod, tortelli, excellent cured meats... in short, try it for yourself

03/12/2023: The food and wines are fabulous, the environment compared to the other Varrone restaurant which is located in Pietrasanta is nothing, the parking is very large
But there is a but
I would like to see more "beautiful waitresses" than "waiters" who serve me
I recommend it to everyone 👍

22/12/2023: Tonight we tried one of the oldest places in Lucca, LA CANTINA DI CARIGNANO.
The place appears warm and welcoming
the furnishings such as the piano, the beamed ceiling and the chandeliers made from wagon wheels create a style that blends between old style and country.
The staff is quick but a bit resolute.
Good food with traditional cuisine and home-made dishes.
The mise en place is good.

01/01/2024: Siamo andati ieri sera per la cena di Capodanno ed abbiamo trovato esattamente l’atmosfera che desideravamo. Menù a là carte , servizio veloce, gentilezza ed ottimo cibo. Direi il miglior modo per iniziare il 2024.
Proprietario e personale gentilissimi.
Sicuramente da consigliare e non tornare!
