The staff are friendly, helpful and always attentive. The prices are a little high, but given the quality of the dishes and the general atmosphere of the place, it's okay. 01/03/2025: "Classy" lunch. 50 years after graduating from high school, almost all of us found ourselves in this excellent restaurant where we remembered the past while enjoying delicious local dishes. Being a considerable number of people, we ordered seafood and land dishes and everything was of good quality and well cooked. Since the location of the restaurant is not too close to where I live, it was the first time I came to eat here and, after the positive experience, it will certainly not be the last. Well done.

08/01/2025: I came in January. First of all, all the staff members are very kind and can speak English. He explained the menu in detail and ordered all the recommended items. The appetizers were tuna bruschetta, mushroom and white fish mille-feuille, teriyaki octopus with mayo, spaghetti with mussels, and thick pasta with ragu, all of which brought out the flavors of the ingredients very well and were very satisfying.

01/01/2025: It was Dec 27th, so not so much fresh fish to buy at the market, but dinner was great. I place I will suggest to everyone having time in Leghorn.

Schiacciatini with lots of fillings and chickpea pie top marks. The place is very small but they continually produce everything, highly recommended for takeaway, very fast.

26/10/2024: I'm sorry dear Mr. Angelo, but this time it was a real disappointment... I have come several times during my holidays on Elba for 15 years now, on the evening of August 15th, 5 of us spent 330.00 euros for three VEGETABLE appetizers, two sliced ​​meats, a squid, two fish (them alone cost almost 140.00 euros...) a bottle of "cheaper" wine and four coffees... a real exaggeration, there are certainly locations much more suggestive, on the sea, with excellent cuisine and lower prices... it pains me to say it but it was my last time at Pilade. Good continuation.

30/03/2025: Veniamo accolti da una trattoria stile anni 70', palesemente di sinistra con ritratti del generale Che Guevara ovunque. La cena è stata perfetta: dagli antipasti buonissimi, i primi pieni di sapore e i secondi che si scioglievano in bocca. Il posto si presenta molto alla mano: piatti e posate tutte diverse, musica molto alta e purtroppo porta spesso aperta, colpa del via vai. Il personale è cordiale e disponibile alle richieste, niente da ridire. Nota dolente: il vino della casa appare chiaramente di qualità inferiore. Il dolce era buono, ma niente di eccezionale. Grande problema è il parcheggio, laddove purtroppo essendo in centro è molto difficile trovare posto. Sicuramente da provare con amici che non si infastidiscono per un po' di rusticità.

06/03/2025: Very clean and well kept but very aseptic restaurant, it almost looks like a modern hospital. Perfect table linen and impeccable cutlery. Nice and seasoned pizzas which however did not meet my taste. Friendly and helpful staff.
