17/08/2024: We booked at Miseria e Nobiltà as we couldn’t find place elsewhere on Ferragosto evening. It is a simple trattoria/pizzeria. They make good pizza and a very home cooking style menu. Pappardelle with wild boar ragù were good, but exactly as you can do at home. We also had stuffed mussels, good but too salty and with too much bread that make mussels disappear. No comment about wine. Price reasonably cheap.

03/11/2023: We were there for the first time. The food is simply delicious. It is simply furnished but with taste.

08/08/2024: I had a lovely evening for my daughter's birthday. The owner, Maurizio, is a kind person and passionate about his work. It's sad to see comments from other "customers" who, probably, grayed by their lives, have lost the spontaneity to understand their jokes and their absolutely frank, but always respectful and kind way of doing things. I had a very good dinner. All the dishes were excellent and the ingredients were of high quality. The staff is always kind and smiling. The place is magnificent, the beach is unique. Once out of there, there was a starry sky that was nothing short of heartbreaking. What are people complaining about? In my opinion they are gnats with sad lives, they arrive on Elba, stressed, exhausted. they see people who have transformed their passion into a job, being in contact with nature every day... that's why they write such nonsense. Well done everyone! And thanks again for the lovely evening!!!

08/08/2024: So let me start by saying that the food is good, the service is excellent, the guys in the room are very attentive, and that the location is beautiful. Having said that, as far as I'm concerned I only found 3 "let's say" negative things. 1) I ordered spaghetti with clams, but those on the plate were not clams but lupins, the only difference is the price, paying 18 euros for a plate of spaghetti with lupins is an exaggeration. Still, a very good dish. 2) I ordered the octopus salad, this dish was also very good, but inside there were about ten pieces of octopus, the rest was just olives, celery, etc. etc. 3) the toilets. An unspeakable thing and it is no small thing. Truly unusable and smelly bathrooms. Having said that, I thank the friendly, kind and very helpful owner who didn't make me pay the child's cover charge and offered me the 2 coffees. I will return (but the toilets need to be redone)

10/07/2024: Andiamo tutte le volte che facciamo le vacanze al mare a Cecina. Colazione e/o brunch. Ache x intolleranti lattosio. Preparato al momento con frutta fresca. Infinita scelta. Simpatici e veloci. Consigliato assolutamente!!!

18/08/2024: The atmosphere, right next to the harbor, is great. Free parking spaces in the surrounding area are no problem. The food we ordered was very 😋, fish and seafood. The kids were very happy. After consultation, my wishes as a celiac sufferer were also fulfilled, with an oven-baked sea bream and vegetables on the side. The staff was very friendly. A successful family evening. Highly recommended.

01/09/2024: Heerlijke pizza en pasta gegeten. Leuk terrasje in het centrum van een pittoresk Italiaans stadje. Bediening was vriendelijk en attent. Wij zien hier zelfs een tweede keer gaan eten, toen een heerlijk malse steak gegeten.

12/08/2024: Very small pizzas, nothing exceptional not even the flavour, I took speck and mascarpone but the speck was cut too high and not at all crunchy (it would have given the pizza a bit of flavour) We ate outside on the side of the road, impossible to eat in peace due to the many wasps

05/08/2024: Even though it was the last evening of the "Venice effect", full in all the venues, they assigned us a table, took our order and served us in twenty minutes, with WONDERFUL PROFESSIONALISM AND EDUCATION AND SMILES ALWAYS PRESENT. BIG.

30/07/2024: The cake with the exaggerated aubergines and flatbread. I didn't like the pizza so much as it was difficult to cut and also by choosing the Burrata and anchovy, the anchovy added during cooking brought out a lot of salt. However, I want to try it again by choosing a focaccia. Very honest prices

19/07/2024: PIZZA was very good, unfortunately we couldn't order anything else, I think we got the tourist card! Supposedly got the very last seat in the aisle even though there were still free seats outside... Otherwise quite friendly and great value for money

28/08/2024: The tavern has the advantage of maintaining a service perfectly in line with the needs of its customers, offering excellent and genuine dishes from both land and sea. The cooking is a little slow but only if you are used to the pre-cooked express dishes prevalent on the market today. The service is punctual and courteous. Crowded, with merit.
