14/10/2025: One of the must-visit restaurants on Elba, the pasta is excellent, as is the homemade fried calamari. The view is magnificent and the waiters are attentive! Go there if you are staying on the island!

14/10/2025: This excellent fish restaurant is tucked away on the campsite grounds. You can enjoy a wonderful seaside setting with a view of the water. The menu leaves nothing to be desired. The highlight, however, is the freshly presented fish, expertly prepared.

26/09/2025: Wonderful dinner! Anita was fantastic! Order the fig risotto and the fish of the day. Delicious!!!

26/09/2025: Two words: fig risotto. Three words: just eat it. I’ll be dreaming of that risotto for years. Main course was fish of the day with veg. Fresh and simple as fish should be. Anita was a dream as a server and patient with my poor Italian. But we got the job done to eat one of the best meals we had in San Vincenzo.

26/02/2026: We had a lovely time here during our stay in Livorno. I had the Baccala con Livornese and the Polpette al Sugo, and both were delicious. My wife had the Pappardelle with Guanciale and the Traditional Platter, and they were also lovely. We were also looked after very well by the young cameriera, who recommended an excellent red wine to accompany our meals. We would happily return.

25/02/2026: We were probably unlucky, but 45 minutes for a plate of pasta and a tagliata is absolutely absurd. A ton of sauce and two strands of pasta; to save money, perhaps the opposite would be better, since with 10 cents more you can get double the amount. People arrive later and eat earlier, orders forgotten (without even apologizing), wine at €5 a glass without knowing what it is (if it's the house wine, it's excessive; if it's a bottle, you usually ask for preferences!). All this topped off by a never-ending argument in the kitchen. Perhaps this is the reason for the poor service, but frankly, sometimes a small gesture is enough to prevent a customer from feeling uncomfortable.

24/01/2026: A spartan restaurant where you serve yourself, taking a tray, in short self-service... with a first course, second course with side dish, water and coffee we are around €15... I would say that the price is the strong point of this restaurant, a wide choice of dishes, maybe the quality is not the best but all in all it's not bad.

27/09/2025: Stopping for lunch or dinner at Luca at Bar Aurelio is always a guarantee!! I rarely find people so passionate about the food they offer, from appetizers to desserts and snacks, exceptional quality!!!... The raw materials are excellent and are the result of travel and immersion in the places where they are produced... He has a deep knowledge of the products he chooses, trades and with which he prepares phenomenal dishes! Wood-fired porchetta... his wood-fired oven churns out irresistible potatoes and meats... guys, stop by... even for a snack. And try the excellent quality even in what may seem like a simple sandwich or appetizer! A great connoisseur of Tuscan olive oil as it should be!!!! Pasta and rice of the best reserves!!!! And for this too I find myself in agreement with his choices! 🤗 To Luca and all his staff (truly excellent!) my best compliments!!!!

24/08/2025: Da Aurelio is a guarantee. Last night, I enjoyed a platter of cured meats, wonderful mozzarella, gorgonzola, and sausages, unique porchetta with potatoes, and a soft and delicious apple pie! The prices are more than fair for a quality that's increasingly hard to find! We'll be back again and again!

09/03/2026: Nice little place, excellent pizza, good service, great prices, ....but......terrible fried food smell. I had to wash everything, even my jackets. The car still smells after 2 days. I'm hoping the extractor hood isn't working properly. It can happen.

26/02/2026: I love everything about this place. I consider it a place close to my heart. Whenever I pass through Livorno, I always go there...for breakfast, for a sandwich, for a sunset aperitif. Always, always beautiful.

29/12/2025: The guys behind the counter were really nice... but most importantly, they brought us two huge pizzas, and above all, delicious!! And they didn't skimp on the toppings, which is very often the case! I had a great time, I ate a lot and well, and honestly, I was even shocked by the bill; for two of us, we spent almost twenty euros and that's it! I highly recommend it.

23/09/2025: Located next to a pine forest, with seating under the trees, no more than 200 meters from Baratti Beach. Delicious sandwiches, well-made with great attention to cooking them just right. Well done and kind, keep it up!

04/10/2025: Stroll around the central square of Porto Azzurro. Excellent gelato. I recommend the chocolate and orange flavor...delicious.

09/01/2026: Excellent trattoria on the Aurelia Vecchia, near Bolgheri. Warm welcome, very good food, nice wine selection. Service was a bit rushed (they rushed to clear our plates while I was still chewing the last bite 😂). Not cheap, but still in line with what we ordered.

27/08/2025: I ordered takeout hot dogs, a cheeseburger, and some fried foods. Everything was really excellent, I recommend it!
