11/08/2025: For years, whenever we're in the area, we've been driving to Campglia specifically for Chiara's ice cream. In fact, I can't think of any better ice cream! One of the rare features—besides the unusual and perfect ice cream combinations—is the judicious use of sweetness. Nothing is masked, but sweetened just enough to highlight the variety of flavors and allow them to unfold. In any larger city, this little ice cream shop would be a crowded and barely affordable place for gourmets. We sincerely hope that Chiara's gem in Campiglia Marittima can maintain its commercial viability!

03/08/2025: One because you can't give a 0, in fact I kindly invite the owner to contact me. Last night we were literally attacked by a customer who was a friend of the waitress and certainly a member of the restaurant. The "Gentleman," a half-hippy alcoholic with a pitbull, started insulting and cursing us. We had just ordered, beers and the girl's juice had just been served, and the bruschetta was still in the kitchen... We had to run away because the tone was so loud and I was afraid he would set his dog on ours... The waitress defended him, asking us to pay and not come back... I should have called the police, but I was too panicked, so I paid.

30/07/2025: De plek, het uitzicht en het eten is geweldig! Het personeel is erg beleeft. Ik was jarig die dag en kreeg onverwachts een toetje met een verjaardagslied, zonder dat we daarom hadden gevraagd! Zo lief!! Ik raad u de tent echt aan, het is genieten daar! De pizza's waren ook overheerlijk en er was super veel keuze

28/07/2025: Ieder jaar bezoeken we deze gezellige pizzeria. Een heus familiebedrijf waar men met hart en ziel heerlijke pizza’s maakt. Het is een kleine zaak en je kunt hier niet reserveren. Maar wie geduld heeft en gewoon geniet van de gezellige sfeer en muziek zal beloond worden met heerlijke pizza’s en cocktails. Mijn lievelings is de pizza met friarielli en salsiccia. En om het feest af te maken als dessert een heerlijke baba al rum. Geregeld is er live muziek. Mistral is de parel op Cavo.

01/06/2025: June 2nd long weekend in San Vincenzo, stop at Coop and breakfast at Pasticceria Macchioni... The place is also nice with the tables outside, but the service really leaves something to be desired. 15 minutes to have two pastries, while one of the baristas pretended to put away the plates to check if everyone paid for what had been taken, and I was there waiting, in the meantime the one who makes the coffees is free and serves me. I think that in a place like this, in a seaside area, in high season, more organization is needed. The pastries are for breakfast, good but nothing special.

03/07/2025: Highly recommended! Welcoming place, a stone's throw from the center. Helpful and competent staff. Exceptional pinsa and tonda romana, light and with high quality raw materials. An excellent dinner, definitely worth repeating!

22/08/2025: Booked with The Fork, discounted prices by 20%. The food is average, and the prices are a bit high even with the discount. I didn't particularly like the service. We ordered two courses each (two appetizers, a first course, and a second course), and they couldn't bring the dishes together, not even the two appetizers.

20/08/2025: We booked for the evening of August 15th, and the restaurant immediately struck us as very welcoming, with a promising atmosphere. Unfortunately, however, the dinner didn't live up to expectations: the seafood appetizer to share was truly meager, the shellfish were practically devoid of flesh, and the price was decidedly disproportionate for what was offered. The tuna first course and second course also didn't convince us, especially considering the price, which had led us to hope for higher quality. On a positive note, the wine was good and well-served. Perhaps if we had used the TheFork voucher, we would have been happier at the end of the evening, but having paid full price for everything, the bill was settled with a bit of bitterness. Overall, the experience was unsatisfactory, and I don't think we'll return.

18/08/2025: We came in 5 for dinner, the restaurant is highly recommended for the food, fair price, and very friendly and polite service, especially Vincenzo who got me and my brother to play a game of table football. I also greet the chef Emanuele, congratulations!

18/08/2025: An experience to forget! Total incompetence and disrespect for the customer. We arrived and already noticed people complaining about delays with their orders. We waited over an hour ourselves and received neither bread, wine, nor appetizers. Each time, we were told that everything was on its way. The place was half-empty and customers looked lost. The staff couldn't tell if they were there by chance. The girl who was supposed to look after us literally disappeared from sight, never to be seen again. The nervousness among the managers and waiters was very evident. It felt like an episode of RESTAURANT NIGHTMARE! I expected Cannavacciuolo to walk out at any moment... Not to mention the food: Maremma crostini finished, wild boar stew finished, wild boar sauce finished... People left their tables... outside, we heard from guys who had just dined there and were shocked at how bad the evening had gone. Everyone has a bad day, but have the seriousness to tell the customer there are problems; don't fool people by pretending everything is fine and making a fool of yourself. See you never again.

12/07/2025: Quite possibly the best gelato in Italy! Fantastic flavors, vegan options and great service - a must if you are in Cecina!

22/06/2025: The hotel's location is beautiful, right on the sea. The private beach was great (not suitable for non-swimmers, as there's a ladder leading straight into the water). The bay is also used by locals. The double room was clean and had a beautiful sea view, but it was very small and cramped. The hotel has charm but is noticeably dated in some places (e.g., mirrors, fixtures, drains, tiles on the balcony). The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We booked half board and the dinner was delicious. Unfortunately, the beautiful outdoor terrace was not available to hotel guests; it was reserved exclusively for restaurant guests. However, breakfast was very, very monotonous. On 10 days there was one type of semi-hard cheese and two types of sausage. We sorely missed some cream cheese, tomatoes, olives, grapes, and melon. There was a bowl with a few apples in it, and if you were lucky you could also get an orange. All drinks at dinner, including water, had to be paid for. At breakfast, there was only one hot drink, and each additional one had to be paid for.

13/08/2025: For a table of 5 people, the first course after 40 minutes, the second courses always after the first course 10 minutes and the last course another 10 minutes. The dining room service is very argumentative among themselves.

06/09/2025: Beautiful views, delicious food, and a very friendly, child-friendly staff. The prices are a bit high, but completely justified.

04/09/2025: The food was good, nothing to complain about, but some of the waiters seemed a little stressed and unhelpful, making faces when you asked for bread very politely, creating a somewhat tense atmosphere.
