15/11/2025: Il Barroccino is one of those places that wins you over at first sight. The prices are truly competitive and the quality is astonishing: the platters of typical products are delicious, rich, and meticulously prepared. It's often very crowded, but it's a pleasant buzz, filled with happy people, conversation, delicious aromas, and a friendly atmosphere. The staff is always available, attentive, and extremely polite, even at the busiest times. Finding a seat is difficult... but there's a reason: it's hard to leave such a welcoming place, and no one wants to leave! A wonderful, authentic, and atmospheric place. Highly recommended!!!

25/09/2025: Delicious ice cream for humans and dogs. During the off-season, dog ice cream is only available in limited quantities upon request (also suitable for human consumption). The staff is very friendly and passionate about their work. The crêpes (gluten-free rice dough) are also worth recommending. 🙂🥰🥰 Thank you so much.🥰🥰

07/10/2025: A well-stocked bar, but the coffees are the highlight! Perhaps one of the only places in Livorno that serves specialty coffee. I attended a class on the sensory analysis of coffee, and it was a very informative and fun two hours. A great starting point for exploring the world of coffee!

16/11/2025: Beautiful campsite; we stayed on a shaded, comfortable pitch. The campsite is in a perfect location for exploring the entire island. The pool is lovely, and the entertainment was especially appreciated by my children; the kids were very kind and friendly. The shop is well-stocked, and the bathrooms are clean. The campsite staff was helpful and friendly. A wonderful holiday.

19/12/2025: I ate really well (and this is coming from someone who doesn't like fish). The location by the sea is truly well-kept and beautiful. The owner is a lovely person.

19/12/2025: We found it by chance and arrived unannounced, very late, like 2:30 PM in December. We were welcomed like family, the food was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The place is right on the beach; in winter, you can get to the beach within 100 meters and then walk along a wooden walkway. Outside, there's a marquee overlooking the sea where they've set up deckchairs with blankets, perfect for an aperitif outdoors. A truly classy touch. Giuseppe, the owner, is extremely kind and friendly.

28/10/2025: Charming restaurant with a terrace overlooking the sea. The only flaw is that the menu is almost exclusively fish-based, with very little choice for non-fish eaters. Otherwise, it's worth it.

14/03/2026: Welcoming place, informal, friendly, and pleasant service and staff. We ate fish and truly enjoyed everything. The price was fair and in line with the quality of the products and service offered. We'll be back as soon as we have the chance.

08/03/2026: We're in Livorno for the weekend, and after asking where to eat, they recommended this osteria, which really surprised us. The location is welcoming and clean. The staff is super friendly, and the service is fast. Before they brought our order, they brought us some farinata, which we loved. As appetizers, we had the mixed seafood and the anchovies and burrata, all truly delicious. We continued with the spaghetti with mixed seafood, which was truly amazing; we loved it. Then we tried the fritto misto (this one was good, but perhaps a little greasy) and the pizza alla matriciana, which we all fell in love with! All washed down with the house red wine, which went down really well. The price/quality ratio, I'd say, is more than fair. Truly a great discovery!

18/09/2025: Service was rather inadequate and condescending; compared to other tables, the effort was clearly minimal, even though there were only four other tables occupied. The food was fresh, but apart from being fried, nothing else had happened to the ingredients, nothing had been seasoned, and the portions were nowhere near filling, even if you eat several courses in a row. A secondi piatti, for example, contains the following list of ingredients: one prawn, a squid tube cut in half, and a tablespoon-sized piece of tuna placed on something that, with a lot of concentration, can be identified as a vegetable. Other restaurants in the immediate vicinity serve much larger portions of reasonable quality for less money.

11/01/2026: When we're in Castiglioncello, we happen to stop by this restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, as is the owner, who knows how to cater to her customers' every need. The desserts are excellent.

02/12/2025: I enjoyed the restaurant's services as an addition to my stay at the AlleDune Hotel. I found the restaurant perfectly integrated into the dunes. Lots of wood. The menu is constantly changing, offering a wide selection. Vegetarian and vegan options are available. Catch of the day. Various appetizers, first courses, meat, fish, and vegetarian main courses are available. The staff is exceptional. Punctual, precise, and cheerful. Even a midday sandwich or pizza at the beach bar is a wonderful experience.
